Naruto : The ultimate Troublemaker

Chapter 164: Tenseigan

Hinata seized Kinshiki's massive axe as he swung it violently towards her. Her slender fingers, reinforced by an incandescent violet chakra, gripped the weapon. An instant crack appeared on the shiny surface of the axe.

Kinshiki, stunned, tried to force his grip to reclaim it, but Hinata, a cold smile on her lips.

In a loud crack, the axe shattered into a thousand pieces under the pressure of her chakra. Before Kinshiki could react, Hinata pivoted, releasing a concentrated energy into a fierce kick that crashed against his face.

The colossus was thrown backwards, traversing several meters in a monumental crash, colliding with a suspended rock. Hinata rose calmly, but her gaze immediately turned towards Momoshiki's devastating attack.

Momoshiki, floating arrogantly, laughed like a maniac, his swirling black orb hurtling towards Hinata at an incredible speed.

Hinata took a deep breath, her chakra intensifying. A swirling violet aura surrounded her, solidifying into animal forms. Two majestic lions, made of chakra, appeared in her palms.

"Shugohakke Rokujūyon Shō!"

With a swift and precise movement, she cut the black orb in two with perfect synchronization. The ensuing explosions resounded on either side of her, but Hinata remained impassive, standing at the center of the chaos.

Momoshiki lost his smile for the first time, a glimmer of frustration crossing his eyes.

Before Hinata could catch her breath, Kinshiki was back, a new axe created by his chakra in hand. He charged with an amplified rage, his weapon describing threatening arcs.

The battle resumed, this time even more fierce.

Kinshiki swung his axe horizontally, aiming to decapitate Hinata, but she dodged with a quick step, pivoting on her hip to avoid the blow. She retaliated with a palm strike to his chest, infusing a wave of chakra that made his ribs vibrate.

Kinshiki countered by striking the ground, sending debris of rock flying in all directions. Hinata leaped backwards, using these fragments as support for a reverse kick that crashed against his shoulder.

Kinshiki growled, ignoring the pain, swinging his axe with renewed precision, forcing Hinata to adopt a defensive approach. Each dodge was millimeter-perfect, each counterattack methodical.

Hinata seized an opening and leaped for a palm strike to his chin, but Kinshiki anticipated her move. He jumped backwards, letting black spikes burst from the ground in a sudden explosion.

The black spikes pierced her body at several points, immobilizing her limbs and making her movements incredibly difficult.

"It's over," Kinshiki declared in a gruff tone.

Momoshiki, seeing the opportunity, descended quickly towards Hinata. The Rinnegan glowing in his hand illuminated with an intense red, ready to absorb all her chakra.

Hinata struggled to remove the spikes, but each movement seemed to amplify the pain. Momoshiki, with a smirk, approached rapidly, but with a backward leap, she managed to avoid the attack at the last moment. Momoshiki grabbed her necklace in a sudden movement.

The chain gave way under the force of his grip, and the precious stone she wore was reduced to dust.

Hinata's eyes trembled, her breath suspended. This necklace represented everything to her.

Throughout the years, she had trained to become stronger. Her sole objective was to become strong enough to keep the light of her soul. The necklace was her most precious symbol. If she couldn't even protect the necklace he had given her, could she truly protect what it represented?

"If I can't even protect this symbol," she thought, "how can I protect the one it stands for?"

She froze, her thoughts overwhelmed by emotional pain.

Momoshiki, seeing her vulnerable state, wasted no time. He launched a dozen more black spikes to completely immobilize Hinata. Kinshiki appeared at her side, his axe placed on her neck.

"Wait," Momoshiki intervened, raising a hand.

He slightly parted his veils, his Byakugan piercing like blades through the darkness. As if he were looking directly into her future.

"Interesting," he murmured, a calculating smile forming on his face.

Momoshiki advanced towards Hinata, kneeling and motionless, calmly absorbing her chakra. But suddenly, a massive energy emanated from her body, drastically changing in a split second.

"This is not..." Momoshiki began, abruptly stepping back as dozens of black spheres appeared around her.

"Kinshi—"

His voice trailed off as Kinshiki's head rolled on the ground, separated from his body in a flash.

Momoshiki stood frozen, his eyes wide. How had Kinshiki been eliminated so easily?

Hinata slowly raised her head, her cold gaze piercing Momoshiki. Her eyes, once Byakugan, now reflected a brilliant light, an unknown dojutsu with beautiful floral-style patterns.

It was the Tenseigan.
