"A meeting is about to be held!

I'm not sure what Master Danzo wants with me, but I hope nothing goes wrong!"

Uchiha Shisui stood alone in the vast Buddha statue square, sighing and frowning as he seemed to be waiting for something.

He had already reported to Konoha's senior management that he would use the Distinguished Heavenly Gods at today's meeting to help Uchiha Fugaku suppress the voices of rebellion within the clan. It was all for the peace and stability of both Konoha and the Uchiha clan, to secure the possibility of a resolution.

Suddenly, Shisui's ears perked up. He looked up at the sky, and his Sharingan instantly shrank in shock as he saw something that caused his expression to change.

"That's it, Itachi!!"

Seeing the familiar figure ahead, Shisui furrowed his brow and whispered to himself.

At this point, Uchiha Itachi was 18 years old. Compared to the 13-year-old Itachi Shisui remembered, there shouldn't have been any major changes—except for the Konoha forehead protector, which had a horizontal line drawn across it. This made it even harder for Shisui to accept.

Itachi was wearing the red cloud-black cloak of the Akatsuki organization, which had been damaged during a recent battle. If it weren't for that, his appearance would have seemed like the typical villain image.

"Brother Shisui, it really is you!"

Before Shisui could fully process what he was seeing, Uchiha Itachi flew toward him in an instant. His eyes were filled with excitement as he called out in surprise.

In Itachi's memories, Shisui was someone who had already passed away. He was not just a brother but also a teacher and a friend—someone whose position in his life was as important as Sasuke's.

"Mangekyō Sharingan!

Itachi, you have those eyes too!"

Shisui's eyes lingered on Itachi's face for only a moment before he was drawn to the Mangekyō Sharingan and the strange forehead protector. He took a step back, his voice filled with suspicion.

"You… you betrayed Konoha?

No, this can't be Itachi!"

Shisui questioned, his voice trembling as he tried to make sense of the situation.

At that moment, Sako, Naruto, and little Sakura landed nearby, further confusing Shisui.

"Brother Shisui, I know this all sounds absurd, but I'm really Uchiha Itachi, five years in the future," Itachi quickly explained, trying to calm the situation. "And these are Sasuke and Naruto from five years later…"

Itachi, too, was disoriented by the situation. He never expected to meet Shisui again like this.

"Wait, five years later?"

Shisui blinked in confusion, his eyes scanning Sako and then Naruto. He was taken aback when he saw Sako.

Naruto, the Jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails, was familiar to Shisui. He recognized some traces of the boy's power, even from a distance. But Sasuke… Sasuke was supposed to be a boy, wasn't he?

"Shisui, I'm Sasuke," Sako said, stepping forward with a gentle smile. She opened her Mangekyō Sharingan to prove her identity. "When I was younger, I always dressed as a boy. My Sharingan is my identity."

Sako had a good impression of Shisui, so she felt comfortable stepping closer to explain herself.

"Wait, you dressed as a boy?"

Both Itachi and Shisui exchanged a speechless look.

"Seriously, when you were young, we never thought you were a girl?" Itachi thought, but he kept the thought to himself.

"Mangekyō Sharingan? You too?"

Shisui was shocked, his eyes wide in disbelief. He quickly turned to Itachi, who was also surprised by Sako's Sharingan.

"It's a long story," Itachi murmured, clearly unsure of how to explain. "I'll tell you everything through an illusion."

With a somber expression, Itachi used his Sharingan to cast an illusion, pulling Shisui into the illusionary space.

In the illusion, Shisui saw the tragic events that would unfold: he would lose his right eye to Danzo today. He saw the despair that would follow as he realized he could not foresee the future.

After entrusting the hope of the Uchiha clan and his left eye to Itachi, Shisui would end his life by jumping into the river in despair.

Itachi also succeeded in awakening his Mangekyō Sharingan because of his death.

After that, Itachi, along with the masked man Uchiha Madara and Danzo's Root, was involved in the joint extermination of the Uchiha clan.

Bearing the charge of genocide alone, Itachi became Konoha's S-class traitor. He then lurked in the Akatsuki organization, silently guarding Sasuke and Konoha.

These events were long past in the illusion space, but in reality, they had only taken a moment.

"So, you entrusted the fate of the clan to me, and I killed them?

Is this how you saw it???"

When Shisui's consciousness returned to reality, he was shocked and angry. His pupils dilated in disbelief as he looked at Itachi, filled with regret.

What he had wanted was the harmonious coexistence of Konoha and the Uchiha clan.

Was this the result???

Why did he worry so much about it?

Who wouldn't try to prevent a genocide?!

"Itachi, you had no other choice, Brother Shisui!"

Itachi spoke hesitantly, like a child who had made a mistake.

Sako interjected, her anger growing. She stepped forward, glaring at both Shisui and Itachi.

"Have you even thought about the Uchiha clan from the very beginning?

What did they do wrong to deserve this fate?

Why should you two decide their futures for them?"

Her voice grew louder.

"You were so blinded by your own thoughts!

If you had discussed it with your father earlier, the result would have been different. I don't believe that two pairs of Mangekyō Sharingan, plus the strength of the Uchiha clan, couldn't have protected the Uchiha and negotiated peace with Konoha's senior leadership."

Shisui and Itachi froze, looking at Sako in surprise. They lowered their heads, thinking over her words.

"Sako's right."

Naruto's voice rang out, as he spoke disdainfully.

"Neither of you should have made decisions for the Uchiha clan. There were other solutions, but you chose the worst one.

You think you're great because you sacrificed yourself for the will of fire?

Then let me show you the truth..."

Naruto's eyes shifted, and with a confident smirk, he turned his gaze to the other side.

"Come out, Danzo! I knew you were coming..."

Naruto's Mangekyō Sharingan gleamed in his eyes as he looked toward a nearby bush and called out.

"Whoosh, whoosh..."

The moment Naruto's voice echoed, several figures rapidly retreated into the distance. Danzo, knowing he couldn't afford to challenge Naruto's Mangekyō Sharingan, was forced to flee.

"Amaterasu..."

Naruto's gaze sharpened as he whispered the words. The overwhelming black flames of Amaterasu immediately engulfed the figures, incinerating them in an instant.

Among those caught in the flames was Danzo himself.

With the power of Naruto's Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, the flames quickly burned through all the root ninjas, leaving no chance for them to resist.

Shisui and Itachi watched in astonishment as Danzo, using Izanagi, reappeared before their eyes.

But Naruto had already anticipated this!

With a flick of his wrist, he manipulated the Amaterasu flames into a swirling black sphere, trapping Danzo in the middle.

Danzo, in the state of Izanagi, was not yet in a position to be killed.

"Shisui, are you going to betray Konoha?"

Now, Danzo could only pin his hopes on Shisui and shouted at him.

At the same time, the Mangekyō Sharingan of Itachi, Sako, and Naruto glowed ominously, their eyes filled with flickering thoughts.

Greed and fear mixed in Danzo's eyes as he desperately searched for a way out.
