Naruto: I Have Doraemon

Chapter 109: Chapter 109 Time Machine, Go Back To Konoha For 55 Years

Naruto looked at Sako's arrogant expression, feeling a vein twitch on his forehead. Of course, the proud Miss Sako would be the one to say something like that.

He didn't actually intend to kill Itachi or take his Mangekyō Sharingan. In fact, he wanted Itachi to be the one to awaken the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

As for Itachi's character and thoughts... Naruto had a different plan. Changing Itachi's fate would give him valuable Honkai points, and later, he could copy Itachi's perfected Susanoo. Naruto knew exactly what he needed to do.

"Ahem… Now that I've been defeated by you, I have nothing more to say," Itachi said, coughing up blood. "As I mentioned before, we're each other's spare eyes. It's our fate to be born into such a cursed clan. Don't you want to know who's really behind all of this? His name is… Uchiha Madara!"

Seeing that Kisame was still caught in the illusion, Itachi relaxed a little. He revealed the information calmly.

"Uchiha Madara?" Sako's face twisted in disbelief. "Are you kidding me? Madara was from the First Hokage's era. He's long dead! How am I supposed to believe this nonsense?"

"Believe it or not, that man is Uchiha Madara," Itachi replied, keeping his usual impassive expression. "Not everything you know is the truth, just like how you always thought I was the perfect, caring older brother. Haven't you already uncovered the truth about me? Uchiha Madara is still alive."

"F… Don't act like you know everything!" Sako, who now knew parts of the truth behind Itachi's massacre of the clan, looked at him with hurt in her eyes and refused to believe him. "I won't fall for your lies anymore…"

"Is that so?" Itachi said, still in character. "Are you still clinging to the idea of brotherhood I created for you? Even if I fail, this will make me an unforgettable part of your life. The truth is, the Nine Tails' attack twelve years ago was Madara's doing. Now, he's formed an organization called 'Akatsuki,' and its true purpose…"

There was a flicker of relief and sadness in Itachi's eyes, but he quickly regained his composure and continued to share what he knew.

"Itachi, are you sure it's not you who's been deceived?" Naruto interrupted. "Sako, if you really want to know the truth, why don't we go back and see for ourselves?"

Naruto's words left everyone stunned. Sako, Itachi, and Sakura all turned to him, looking both confused and horrified.

"Go back? What do you mean?" Sako exclaimed, bewildered.

"Yes," Naruto said calmly. "Let's go back to the night of the massacre and uncover the real truth."

Without much explanation, Naruto placed his hand on the ground, and a time machine suddenly materialized before him. This was a one-time-use machine, and it had cost him 10,000 Honkai points, leaving him with only 63,750 points remaining.

"What… what is this?" Sakura took a step closer, her green eyes wide with curiosity as she examined the strange machine.

Sako and Itachi exchanged a look, both equally surprised and confused.

"No need for explanations—you'll find out soon enough," Naruto said with a grin. Using his chakra, he lifted Sako, Sakura, and Itachi into the time machine with him. It was cramped, but it had enough space for four people to stand.

"Alright, everyone," Naruto announced, adjusting the controls. "Time travel is about to begin…"

He pressed the start button, and in an instant, a bright light flashed around them, pulling them into a strange passage.

"Wh-what is this place?"

Even though Uchiha Itachi was a mature young man, he couldn't help but tremble with surprise as he asked, "This… this is the passage of time? Are we really going back to the Night of the Massacre?"

Naruto nodded. "Yes, we're returning to the night when the truth, the truth you buried, will be revealed to us, just as Sako has wanted all along!"

At this point, Naruto decided not to hold anything back. As for the risk of anyone leaking what they'd see? It didn't matter to him.

Naruto, equipped with a time-traveling telephone booth thanks to Doraemon, had no reason to fear any challenge. This was the confidence Doraemon had instilled in him!

"Back… to the past? How is that even possible?" All three of them—Itachi, Sako, and Sakura—gazed at Naruto in utter disbelief, each with their own expression of shock.

"As far as I know, there are at least two ways in the ninja world to travel between the past and the future. Just because you don't know about them doesn't mean they don't exist." Naruto explained calmly. When he saw a black hole appear up ahead, he maneuvered the time machine toward it without further explanation, ignoring their astonishment.

Konoha, Year 55

A black hole suddenly appeared in the exact place where Naruto and his team had originally gathered. The time machine emerged, carrying all four of them, then vanished just as quickly.

"Let's go! We're still a bit of a distance from Konoha," Naruto said, checking his direction. He pulled out four bamboo-copter propellers, placing one on himself and handing the others to the group.

Though Sako and Sakura found this unbelievable, they each took a bamboo propeller and put it on. Uchiha Itachi activated his Sharingan, copying their movements perfectly to put on his own.

"Who exactly are you?" Itachi asked as the four of them lifted into the air, growing comfortable with the strange contraption. "Is this truly five years ago? And what was that device you used?"

Sako and Sakura also glanced at Naruto with curious and complicated expressions, each racing with questions, especially Sako, who was beginning to wonder if Naruto had some kind of hidden power or system of his own.

"I'm still just Naruto!" he replied with a smirk. "I've simply obtained some… special abilities. Don't ask too many questions. You wouldn't understand anyway!"

Naruto wasn't about to explain all of Doraemon's gadgets. After all, he had so many at his disposal, and explaining every single one would be exhausting. Lying or overexplaining? Not his style. He preferred to just keep moving forward.

With the bamboo-copter propellers, the group soon flew over Konoha Village. With Itachi's former role as an Anbu captain, he could see through Konoha's barriers with ease, making the defenses seem like mere decorations.

"Wait… that's… Shisui!" Itachi gasped in shock, spotting a familiar figure below. Without hesitation, he descended, with Sako quickly following him.

"Shisui?" Naruto's eyes widened at the name. He glanced down and smirked slightly when he saw Shisui.

"Ah, looks like I might've gotten the timing slightly off," Naruto thought to himself, realizing he'd set the machine's time based on memories that were perhaps a bit inaccurate.

[Though it's a bit earlier than expected, it's fine. I'm here to test the world and gather Honkai Points, and maybe some Mangekyō Sharingan, too. Sako and Itachi's interests are just side benefits.]

Naruto adjusted his mindset quickly, then signaled to Sakura to join him as they prepared to land.

Indeed, Naruto's decision to spend 10,000 Honkai points on this journey wasn't solely for the siblings' sake. He had his own interests, his own ambitions—and he was here to pursue them.
