Naruto: All Genders are reversed except for me

Chapter 47: Chapter 47

Leaving Ichiraku Ramen, Naruto walked down the empty streets toward home.

"I'm back."

Opening the door, Naruto placed his canvas bag aside and headed straight into the bathroom.

A few minutes later, he stepped out, refreshed.

After a sleepless night spent grappling with the Nine-Tails, a day of heated shogi battles with Shikamaru and the others, and then assisting as Ichiraku's little apprentice (though essentially orchestrating the entire competition), the ramen contest finally came to an end.

On top of that, he had to prepare for the worst-case scenario of defecting, retrieving Itachi's DNA in advance. Now, finally back home, he could enjoy a rare moment of peace.

Naruto sprawled out on the bed, the day's numerous events replaying in his mind.

After mentally reviewing everything step by step, ensuring there were no flaws in any part of the process, he let out a heavy sigh of relief.

Clearing his head for about five minutes, Naruto sat up, grabbed his canvas bag, and took out the mourning attire Sasuke had gifted him.

He compared it against himself—it seemed like it would fit.

Placing the new mourning clothes at the bedside, Naruto muttered, "System panel."

As soon as he spoke, a translucent system interface appeared before him, visible only to his eyes.

---

---

Glancing over the panel, Naruto nodded slightly.

The shock value had already surpassed ten thousand, though the negative value was still slightly lacking.

However, the silver coins were still far from the goal of one million.

"Huff... Three days from now, once the barbecue stand officially opens, everything will start falling into place. Maybe a few months will be enough to hit one million silver coins."

Indeed, gross income and net profit were entirely different concepts.

Especially in this world, where there was practically no supply chain for semi-finished products. Most ingredients, like lamb for barbecue, had to be manually sourced and butchered.

Additionally, while Naruto had discussed future cooperation with Ichiraku's owner tonight, he hadn't yet inquired about Konoha's shop tax policies.

Still, given how meticulously the Ichiraku family ran their business in the original story, it was likely that the taxes weren't low.

"I'm only seven years old now. There's still five years until I graduate from the Ninja Academy and step into the original storyline. Five years is more than enough time to carefully execute my plans under the radar."

Naruto meticulously reviewed his defection plan and the numerous preparations he still needed to make. Slowly, he drifted off to sleep.

---

Barely ten minutes after he fell asleep, Naruto woke up again.

As expected, his consciousness had once again entered the Nine-Tails' domain.

---

"Naruto..."

Unlike last night, when the Nine-Tails had been led around by Naruto, its tone and demeanor tonight were noticeably colder.

"Yo, Lord Fox! We meet again, huh?" Naruto forced a bitter smile. He hadn't slept well last night, and now his consciousness was here again.

Great, another sleepless night.

Throughout the night, the Nine-Tails repeatedly tried to convince Naruto to remove the sealing inscription on the iron gate. However, Naruto always managed to derail its plans at the critical moment, forcing the fox to shift its focus.

And what did Naruto do to distract the Nine-Tails?

He told stories—plenty of them.

What kind of stories?

Stories that didn't exist in this world.

Most of these stories were based on the fantasy novels Naruto had read in his previous life, with him heavily modifying them to feature a demon protagonist who started as a wastrel but rose to power, becoming a figure feared by all.

One of these tales even centered on a classic story Naruto had reimagined.

The protagonist was Lin Yan, a former family genius turned failure. However, after a fortuitous encounter, he embarked on a journey of trials and met a three-tailed fox demon during his training. The two formed a bond, supporting each other through hardships, eventually becoming as close as family.

Unsurprisingly, under Naruto's masterful storytelling, the Nine-Tails was completely engrossed.

When Lin Yan encountered the three-tailed fox in the Star Dou Forest, the Nine-Tails' eyes practically glowed.

For a being sealed away for countless years, with little interaction or freedom, such a gripping tale was as addictive as a forbidden indulgence.

Naruto deliberately emphasized the hardships the three-tailed fox faced and its eventual rise alongside the protagonist, transforming into a being of unmatched power.

After hours of storytelling, Naruto's throat felt parched—he wished he could have an ice-cold soda to soothe it.

Meanwhile, the Nine-Tails, utterly captivated, had mentally placed itself in the role of the three-tailed fox.

But just as the story reached a climactic moment, Naruto stopped.

"Brat, why aren't you continuing? What happened when they faced the powerful enemy?"

Stories cut off mid-way left the Nine-Tails restless, its crimson eyes glaring at Naruto.

Clearing his throat, Naruto dragged out his words. "Want to know what happens next? Tune in tomorrow for the next chapter!"

As he finished speaking, his body began to dissolve into countless fragments, signaling the end of his visit. The alarm clock in the outside world was ringing.

"See you tomorrow, Lord Fox."

---

The Nine-Tails could only watch as Naruto's form disappeared like snowflakes.

The fox's rage was palpable. To a being sealed for eternity, with no interaction or entertainment, having such an enthralling story interrupted was unbearable.

"Curse you, Uzumaki Naruto! Come back here and finish the story!"

But no matter how much the Nine-Tails roared, Naruto couldn't hear it.

---

Back in the real world, Naruto woke up groggily, feeling completely drained. Despite his body having rested, his spirit was utterly exhausted.

"This can't go on. If this keeps up, I'll collapse sooner or later."

Dragging his weary body to the bathroom, Naruto freshened up and left the house, canvas bag in tow.

As he passed through the streets, he shouted to wake himself up.

"I'm going to become Hokage!"

Ding!

It was hard to say if it was due to the effects of the cell-enhancing serum that his physique had strengthened or his voice had gotten louder, but Naruto's shout today instantly earned him 200 points of negative emotions.

"Hmm, another day full of 70,000 points!"

Before long, Naruto had slung his canvas bag over his shoulder and was striding quickly toward the training ground.

With long-term plans in mind, Naruto didn't want to rely too heavily on the system's assistance. He believed that willpower still had to be tempered through personal effort.

Soon, Naruto began a new day of training.

After about two hours, he was staggering back home, his canvas bag still on his back.

The sensation after such intense training was one of utter physical exhaustion—a mix of soreness and exhilaration.

Upon returning home, Naruto freshened up again. It was still a little before seven.

He changed into a slightly ill-fitting yet pristine black mourning outfit and strolled out the door, heading straight for the Uchiha Clan compound.
