My Manor

Chapter 376: Chapter 375: Going Crazy

"Not enough," Pra-Walton said, "This is Martina, from Argentina, this one's for you too! This is Feller, from Australia, and this one is for you as well! This is Isabel, from France, and this one is for you too!"

Seeing Jiang Hai remain silent, Pra-Walton was on the verge of losing her temper. She threw the wine glass in her hand and then grabbed the other three girls, pushing them toward Jiang Hai one by one. It was easy to push the first two, but when she pushed the third girl, she used too much force. The girl wasn't ready, and in fact, none of the five girls were prepared for this.

As the third girl ran forward, she accidentally stepped on the glass Pra-Walton had just broken.

Instantly, a cut appeared on her foot. Jiang Hai, still a little dazed, quickly pushed the other girls off him, pulled the fifth girl over, and placed her on the sofa. He checked her foot. Although the cut was from the broken glass, it wasn't deep. After carefully removing the glass, Jiang Hai grabbed some paper nearby and instructed the girl to press it against the wound.

Pra-Walton, too, was momentarily stunned. She saw the girl bleeding and instinctively wanted to move closer, but after a moment's hesitation, she stopped and glared at Jiang Hai with a scowl.

"Are you crazy? Are you sick? You asked me to come here just to say this?" Pra-Walton's words made Jiang Hai stand up, his voice turning stern as he responded, "Yes, I'm going crazy, I'm sick. Do you know how much I love Selena? But you—this guy—quietly took advantage of her and stole her heart. Do you know how much I hate you, you bastard?"

"What do you love? You're a woman, what do you love?" Jiang Hai couldn't hold back, shouting in disbelief.

"What's wrong with women? Can't women love women? It's better than you men—what can you do except use your power to force women! You're nothing but a stinky man!" Pra-Walton shouted back, her anger rising like a beast provoked.

Jiang Hai stood there, speechless. He didn't know how to respond. The laws here in the United States allowed homosexual relationships, even marriage. That was gradually becoming more accepted, not just in the U.S. but also in China, though many still found it difficult to accept.

Jiang Hai was a traditional person. At least his mindset was still very traditional, and he had no idea how to handle this situation.

After a moment of hesitation, he muttered, "Sick."

He had long suspected that there was something off about Pra-Walton. Now, it seemed like she might be a lesbian. But after last night, Selena seemed quite normal. The fact that Pra-Walton had taken Selena and the others to that type of club made Jiang Hai realize something. It was starting to look like a complicated plot. What he hadn't anticipated was that Pra-Walton, the brainless second generation, had orchestrated this.

Selena had said her heart was with him, and it seemed likely she wanted him to help deflect some of the blame. What made it most frustrating for Jiang Hai was that avoiding the blame wasn't easy for him either.

The truth was, last night, something had happened between him and Selena. That made things a lot more complicated for him.

Jiang Hai cursed under his breath and was about to turn and leave, but Pra-Walton suddenly ran up and hugged him from behind. The sensation of her body against his made him freeze for a moment.

"Please, please give Selena back to me," she begged. "I know you don't love her. You're just with her to meet your own needs. I beg you, you can live without her, but I can't. If you need, I can help you with anything. Really, I know so many beautiful women. If that's not enough, I'll find them all over the world. Please, give Selena back to me."

Seeing Jiang Hai about to leave, Pra-Walton, desperate, held onto his waist and pleaded loudly.

She knew her usual tricks wouldn't work on him—Jiang Hai was strong without any desires, and he wasn't in need of money. Even without his family wealth, his current fortune was far greater than hers, at least more than a billion dollars. He had other assets, too, like his high-quality beef business, which was now in demand. If he didn't want it, others would fight for it.

Jiang Hai wouldn't be swayed by money, and he wouldn't use force. So, Pra-Walton had no other choice but to cry.

Jiang Hai stood there, speechless. What was going on? Why was he so unlucky?

He had already decided to support Selena and wouldn't break his promise. But now, what should he do about Pra-Walton? He didn't want to lose her as an ally—after all, Pra-Walton represented Walmart, the largest supermarket brand in the world. His beef sales in the U.S. depended on them. Plus, their group could save him from a lot of trouble.

Jiang Hai's beef was top-quality. As long as someone was interested, they could track him down. His partnership with Walmart made it easier for him to avoid trouble. But now, if this turned into a personal issue, he was caught in a dilemma.

On one hand, he didn't want to lose Pra-Walton as an ally. On the other, he had just promised to help Selena. If he betrayed her now, it wouldn't look good. And more importantly, he wasn't just pretending to be Selena's boyfriend. Last night, something that shouldn't have happened did, and now Jiang Hai was stuck.

Indecisive—these four words perfectly described him, especially when it came to matters of the heart.

As Jiang Hai stood there, unsure whether to explain things to Pra-Walton or pull away, Pra-Walton made her move.

"I understand. Are you embarrassed? It's okay. I'll help you," she said with a sly smile. Without waiting for his response, she slipped her hand into his pants. Before Jiang Hai could react, she had already pulled them down. In an instant, something that shouldn't have appeared in the room did.

Everyone in the house froze, stunned by what they had just witnessed. There were no men in the villa—only female staff, from the bodyguards to the gardeners. Even the dogs in the backyard were female. This was the first time such a thing had occurred since the manor was established.

The five girls, still sitting on the sofa, stared blankly at Jiang Hai.

"What are you doing? Don't be crazy. Selena and I... something did happen between us, but it hasn't gone that far," Jiang Hai said, feeling the coldness in his lower body. He quickly broke free from Pra-Walton's grasp, jumped back, and pulled up his pants. "I'm leaving. I have to go sign the contract."

He quickly turned to leave. He had to make it clear to Pra-Walton. God only knew what she would do next.

Of course, he didn't say it too harshly. He didn't want to let Selena down.

After all, something did happen between him and Selena, and she had wanted to use him to get rid of Pra-Walton. Jiang Hai didn't mind helping her, but seeing another woman cling to him like this made him uncomfortable.

Jiang Hai didn't care about Pra-Walton anymore. He ran out of the manor, determined not to return unless absolutely necessary. Pra-Walton, seeing Jiang Hai's retreat, found a new sense of hope in her eyes.

"Hasn't it gone that far yet? That means I still have a chance. I'll find a way to make Selena give up on him," she muttered to herself.

As she turned around, she saw the five girls sitting on the sofa and the corners of her mouth curled up.

She had an idea. She should have thought of it sooner. What was the biggest taboo between men and women? Betrayal!

An old Chinese saying goes, "If you catch a thief, catch them in the act. If you catch an adulterer, catch them with both hands." If Selena saw Jiang Hai with another woman, she would be disappointed in him—and in men. That would be the perfect moment for Pra-Walton to strike.
