Chapter 93: Chapter 93:- So That's How It Works!
The Nirvana Guild players were still busy farming Endermen in the End, their swords cutting through the air as they casually chatted.
"Hey, do you think Endermen can use the End portals too?"
"No clue. Why?"
"Look over there. That Enderman is standing on the portal frame."
Everyone turned to look and, sure enough, there was an Enderman balancing on the edge of the End portal. What's more, it was holding a grass block.
The sight puzzled the group. Grass blocks didn't exist in the End. That meant this particular Enderman had brought it from the Overworld.
Without acknowledging the players, the Enderman teleported to the edge of the End island and, in an almost ceremonial motion, released the grass block into the void.
The Nirvana Guild players were stunned.
"Wait, what? Endermen do this?"
"So when they pick up blocks, they're just bringing them here to throw them into the void? What kind of prank is this?"
The group chuckled at the absurdity.
"Honestly, it's kind of funny. This Enderman's like a corporate drone, tirelessly hauling Overworld blocks just to toss them into the abyss."
"Imagine if they could actually empty the Overworld, block by block. What then?"
"Pfft, give them a few centuries, and maybe they could!"
"Is this their master plan? The Endermen's 100-year mission to drain the Overworld?!"
The players laughed, joking about Enderman conspiracies. Then someone added with a grin, "Alright, enough fooling around. Back to work!"
Their chatter faded as they resumed farming Endermen, dismissing the strange behavior as nothing more than a curious distraction.
But the oddities weren't over yet.
One player swung his sword at an Enderman. The next second, he vanished, reappearing outside the End pool in a daze. Before he could process what had happened, the very same Enderman teleported after him and launched a vicious attack, finishing him off.
More players followed suit. Any time they struck an Enderman, they'd find themselves inexplicably teleported out of the safety of the water pool, left defenseless against the vengeful creatures.
"Wait, what's going on?!"
"Why are they getting teleported outside?"
"Did they accidentally use Ender Pearls?"
"No way! It's the Endermen! They're doing this!"
Chaos broke out as players scrambled to understand the situation.
"They've learned some kind of skill!"
"Weren't they only supposed to teleport themselves? Why are they dragging us with them now?"
The usual strategy of attacking Endermen from the safety of water pools had been rendered useless.
This wasn't just happening to the Nirvana Guild. Similar stories began pouring in from across the server.
Skeletons had suddenly developed impeccable aim, their arrows landing with pinpoint accuracy.
Creepers now exploded through walls, their blasts generating fire on top of the usual destruction.
Zombies that were once mindless were now stacking blocks to climb obstacles or digging through defenses. Some were even seen carrying TNT, setting it down near player bases, and running away before it exploded.
Even animals weren't spared. Chickens hurled eggs with deadly precision, pigs charged with reckless abandon, and alpacas spat volleys of projectiles so fast they were like machine guns.
The World Chat exploded with complaints and disbelief.
"Bro, I just got chased for five minutes by a zombie rowing a boat. A BOAT!"
"Skeletons have aimbots now! One hundred percent accuracy! What is this nonsense?!"
"Creepers exploding through walls? With fire damage?! Since when?!"
"My friend just got killed by a zombie and turned into one on the spot. Are we playing Resident Evil now?"
"I... I got killed by a chicken. It hurled eggs at me. I'm not kidding."
"You guys don't know pain until you've been spat to death by an alpaca. I drowned in spit. SPIT."
While the chat filled with laughter and tears, one sentiment stood out: the monsters weren't playing by the old rules anymore.

Meanwhile, in a secluded corner of the world, Xu Yuan stood watching his kill count skyrocket. Ever since he had activated Epic Siege III, the notification feed had been non-stop.
"This is insane," Xu Yuan muttered to himself, half-regretting not unlocking this mod earlier. Kill points were flooding in, but fear and faith points had slowed to a crawl.
"It's probably because most players think HIM has been removed from the game," he mused. After all, he hadn't shown himself in a while, and the official patch notes claimed he was gone.
To fix that, he'd need to make an appearance.
'Fear is still crucial for summoning NULL,'Xu Yuan thought. 'And faith… well, that transparent block requires faith points to use. I'll need more of both eventually.'
As he pondered, a familiar figure emerged from the water. 007, his loyal companion, shook off droplets before trotting over with its tail wagging.
The moment it reached Xu Yuan, it tried to lick his hand, but he immediately clamped its mouth shut.
"Stop that!" Xu Yuan pushed 007 back, wiping his hand in disgust.
But 007 wasn't deterred. It flopped down at his feet, looking up with puppy-dog eyes.
"Master, when can we leave? I'm so tired of eating fish! I want spicy snacks! Pig trotters! Beef tongue!"
Drool pooled around its mouth as it spoke, clearly under the influence of the mischievous little bug that sometimes took over its body.
Xu Yuan ignored the whining and glanced at the beach thoughtfully. "Maybe I should bring in some grass blocks and start raising livestock…"
As he spoke, a patch of sand beneath him transformed into a grass block.
Xu Yuan froze. That spot was where he'd placed the transparent block earlier.
A grin spread across his face.
"So that's how the transparent block works!"
...
After days of experimenting, Xu Yuan finally understood the transparent block's purpose.
Unlike other blocks, the transparent block could overlay anything—sand, wood, water, lava, even air. It didn't replace the block underneath but instead merged with it seamlessly, changing its properties.
Xu Yuan stared at the patch of grass that had just formed, excitement bubbling within him.
