If they acted, the village would inevitably face looting, slaughter, and arson.

After all, to players, villagers were nothing more than NPCs, mere tools to make their adventures easier.

That was how it worked, wasn't it? Back when Xu Yuan was just a player, he'd done the same thing. Every save file of his had setups like Villager Trading Halls or Discount Machines.

But this world... it was different.

It had already spawned entities like 007 and Zero Value (Null).

If villagers ever gained awareness, they'd resist with everything they had. In time, a "Villager Kingdom" could emerge, followed by organizations like the Bio-Union, Player Rebellion Camps, Drowned Kings, or even Wasabi Entities.

Moreover, Null had said it himself: this world was not the same anymore.

Xu Yuan didn't know whether Null was referring to some game update or if the world itself was transforming in unexpected ways.

But Xu Yuan leaned toward the latter.

Null wasn't part of the game's original data, so it wouldn't be sensitive to updates. What he mentioned must have been something far more profound—a fundamental change in the game world, not an official patch.

This thought filled Xu Yuan with excitement.

"Could I be about to witness the rise of an Anti-Village World?"

As the HIM of this game world, Xu Yuan wasn't exactly the same as the HIM who created the Anti-Village World. But he did have foresight.

He knew the trajectory of the Anti-Village World's evolution.

If he wanted, he could interfere and control the direction of this world's growth.

"Interesting!"

A wave of exhilaration surged through him.

Witnessing the development of this world from the perspective of an observer—it sounded too good to pass up.

"But I'll need more eyes to truly see its changes..."

To monitor this world's transformation, Xu Yuan had to expand his field of vision. Currently, he couldn't infiltrate the network or access player data. He also lacked insight into the subtle changes within this world.

If he wanted to truly observe the shifts, he'd need more perspectives—more eyes.

That thought led Xu Yuan to recall his Clone Skill.

His clones could offer additional viewpoints, though the skill was only at Level 5 right now, allowing him just one clone.

Testing a hunch, he upgraded the skill by one level.

---

[Clone Lv6]: Consume 5% HP to summon five clones, each inheriting 60% of the host's abilities.]

[Example: If the host's Explosion Skill is Lv5, the clone's Explosion Skill will be Lv3.]

[Upgrade cost: 1,500,000 Kill Points.]

---

"Only five?"

While the upgrade marked a significant improvement, it still wasn't enough to monitor the entire world.

A sudden idea struck him.

"Of course! MODs!"

Xu Yuan had always planned to activate the Epic Siege III MOD after setting up the server. Now he was certain—enemies slain within the MOD would contribute Kill Points to him.

What he didn't know was whether the MOD could provide additional perspectives.

"Whatever, I'll have to activate it anyway. Might as well give it a shot!"

---

[Activate MOD: Epic Siege III for 20,000,000 Kill Points?]

[Confirm!]

[MOD successfully activated!]

---

(For readers unfamiliar with Anti-Village lore, don't worry! The author will explain key concepts as the story unfolds. Treat it as a fresh new tale! Future chapters will blend Anti-Village elements with original ideas to craft a unique world. (~‾▿‾)~)

---

[Epic Siege III]

As soon as Xu Yuan activated the MOD, detailed information appeared before him.

[Epic Siege III Features:]

[Monster perception range tripled.]

[Creepers can self-detonate through walls, with increased explosive power and added flames.]

[Creepers can mount other monsters.]

[New: High-Pressure Creepers.]

[Beds disabled (can only set respawn points).]

[Skeletons gain enhanced shooting accuracy.]

[Endermen can teleport away from attackers.]

[Zombies infect players, spawning new zombies upon death.]

[Zombies and skeletons can chase players using boats.]

[Zombies can place and ignite TNT.]

[Zombies can dig and place blocks.]

[Monsters will attack villagers just like players (villages can be wiped out).]

[Monsters lock onto targets and won't be distracted by other players.]

[Monsters dodge player attacks.]

[Spiders can spit webs to immobilize prey.]

[Monsters can swim underwater.]

[Animals will retaliate when provoked.]

---

Even though Xu Yuan was already familiar with the MOD's features, seeing them again made him feel as if destiny were at play.

The autonomous behaviors of these evolved monsters were eerily similar to those in the Anti-Village World.

"Whatever. Let's see how it plays out."

Some things were inevitable. Xu Yuan's priority was ensuring this world's continued existence, as his own survival depended on it.

After activating the MOD, Xu Yuan checked its system. Unfortunately, it didn't offer a feature for viewing from the monsters' perspectives.

"Figures... I was hoping for too much."

Even so, he had no regrets about activating the MOD. It would be a reliable source of Kill Points in the future.

"The visibility issue can wait. Once I max out the Clone Skill, I'll have plenty of eyes on the world."

Satisfied with his plans, Xu Yuan teleported with 007 and the Ender Dragon to a nearby ocean region. For now, his top priority was taming and summoning Null.

On a shallow stretch of beach, Xu Yuan gathered materials and constructed a simple shelter.

Placing blocks felt noticeably smoother, evidence of how widespread the Free Combat Mode changes had become. If players honed their reflexes, they could now build defensive structures mid-combat, just like in the Anti-Village World.

After preparing the area, Xu Yuan tossed a fishing rod to 007.

"Your meals are your responsibility from now on."

Taking the rod, 007 scratched the back of his head before leaping into the water, dog-paddling as he attempted to catch fish barehanded.

"You got it, boss! I love water!"

His enthusiasm didn't last long. Despite swimming confidently at first, 007 quickly began to flail and sink.

"Blub... Master... I... Blub... can't swim!"

Xu Yuan sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Clearly, you and Little BUG still need to get used to your bodies. More training it is..."

Watching their antics, his mood lightened.

Turning to the Ender Dragon beside him, he said, "You're on your own for food too."

The dragon nodded and took to the skies, scanning the ocean for prey.

Xu Yuan froze.

"When did it start understanding me?"

This dragon wasn't naturally his. He'd seized control of it from Yonghui through sheer deterrence power. It had never fought players under his command and shouldn't have developed even basic awareness.

"That's not right... During the fight with GM303, I wasn't controlling it. But it didn't run away either."

When Xu Yuan had teleported to face GM303, he hadn't spared a thought for the Ender Dragon. It had been left unsupervised the entire time.

While 007 could manipulate monsters, he shouldn't have been able to control a boss-level entity like the Ender Dragon.

During that battle, the dragon had been completely out of control.
