Chapter Eighty:

Reinhardt's Residence

"Deus temporis. Resiliunt amissum tempus. Et transeamus ad obliuionem."

As soon as Medea chants the spell, she was enveloped in a whirlwind of power before time rolled back when I was gone. Little by little a whited smoke came out and from there showed the time I had lost that I did not know. From there we slowly see myself and I am walking at the garden when suddenly I was enveloping with this dark smoke that I don't even remember before I came out at the same place where I headed though the question was, why I didn't see those dark smoke when I came at the garden? Then, we saw it all, a very dark shadow that suddenly appears at my front but I so sure it wasn't what I saw! I saw an odd person that looks like a joker and he also called himself as 'The Joker'. How cliché it is? But that is the truth!

"This…" Medea speaks up but then something happened when the dark shadow suddenly stops as he was about to approach me and then… "Dimitteret!" she immediately breaks the spell but to our surprise we are all thrown out by a powerful force as she breaks her spell.

Everyone present in the room suddenly flew away from Medea and with the sheer force of the explosion I almost lost my hearing and even my eyes suddenly blurred due to the force of the impact of the explosion. I did almost nothing in that situation because none of us were prepared for what happened and I only had one thing on my mind those hours before I completely fainted, whoever the person I met I was sure he was not a joke he is something more than that.

Niobe's Residence

A strong tremor was felt throughout the land under the Manu Clan. Almost everyone felt it, especially those closest to the scene of the quaked and when Brennan felt it he immediately called an investigator to find out where it came from and what happened there.

After an hour of waiting the one that he sent to investigate came and immediately report what did he learned. And he was surprised from what he had heard.

"What! Are you sure about that?!"

"Yes, Elder Brennan. We were also able to find the siblings and we found the two with their right hands unconscious in the same room and it looks like the explosion came from the casting of a Witch's spell."

"What!" he was static at first but then he decided. "Let's head there first! And send a message to our King. He has to know what did just happened." he ordered and went out immediately.

Reinhardt's Residence

Almost all the helpers and guards inside and outside the mansion fainted while all the glass in the upper part of the mansion was shattered and many were also damaged due to the force of the explosion. Reason to conduct a diligent investigation into what happened and Brennan immediately went to the room where the siblings were found.

"Elder Brennan, one of the right hands has finally regain consciousness." His guard immediately told him before he could enter the room and immediately, he went in.

"Where is he?"

"He is here."

The right hand was already sitting on the sofa that also exploded due to the explosion and as he looks to it, it was obviously very strong. The single sofa almost ruined but still can be used to sit and there he was almost in daze.

"Can I talk to him now?" Brennan asked his guard.

"Yes, you may."

He walks closer and asked. "May I know who you are?"

"I'm Maury Ren, Prince Kanik's right hand." He introduced himself in a weak tone.

"What happened here Maury?"

"Lady Medea casted a spell and when that someone suddenly halts his movement, she immediately breaks the spell before things get wrong but…" he takes a deep breath.

"This happened right?" he continued that Maury just silently nodded. "Fine, bring him to the healer and also those three." He ordered and walks at the center where he saw the lady that Maury mentioned. As he looks at it, she also lost consciousness but not just simple unconscious she also bleeds.

"Elder Brennan."

"I am glad you came." He said as he turned to look at him. "Galdur."

Galdur Liam one of the Warlock from the Cabot Tribe, one of the survivors and he works under the Manu Clan. He is one of the best Warlocks that survive the catastrophe of the Cabot Tribe and chooses to work under the Manu Clan.

"This place, it seems there is some dark entity enveloped the whole place though." He paused and looks around.

"What is it?"

"That dark entity also disappeared after the explosion."

"Dark entity?"

"Indeed. And it seems like it only happened after just a moment's glance and if this Lady hadn't been able to break the spell she made before the explosion, I'm sure it would have been even worse."

"And who can do it?"

"Totam rem circumagam." He casted a spell and a ball of darkness flow into his hand. "Revelare."

Gradually the dark smoke collected by Galdur took shape and from there a name was formed. Slowly it came clear.

"Joker." They both speak in unison as soon as the name gets clearer.

Manu Palace

"My King," a messenger came in.

"What is it?"

"Elder Brennan sent a message."

"What is it?"

"There was an explosion in Reinhardt's Residence and that was the cause of the quake earlier."

"What!" Harkan immediately stand up from his throne. "We need to go there now! Guards!"

I heard my father's voice when I was about to enter the throne and before I could open the door, the guards open it and I saw my father walks fast out of the door.

"Father!" I hurriedly approached him.

"Not now, Siara." He answered.

"But the quake happened earlier, is that the reason why you need to go?"
