Chapter Seventy-Nine:

Reinhardt's Residence

I'm still in daze after what my brother and Maury told me. Since this morning I was gone for half a day and no one saw me at the garden talking to someone looks so odd. That made them not to believe I was with someone because no one really found me not even the odd guy that suddenly talks to me.

That made me to think, was it a dream or an illusion? But where did I really go? Why no one saw me at the garden? It really puzzles me.

"Where did you really go, Kanik?" Kieran asked me again but my answer is still the same.

"At the garden."

"If you were really in the garden why didn't one of the guards and Mau and I see you there? Seriously Kanik, what is wrong with you?" he irritably asked and even though I could say he was worry since I learned that he canceled his visit to Manu Palace just because he got worried about me still, I know he is kind of mad right now and I feel sorry not only to myself but also to them.

"I am really sorry brother but I really don't know what happened to me back there." I honestly answered.

Kieran looks at me for a long time before he gave up a sigh. "Iman." He called his right hand.

"Yes, my Prince?"

"Send Medea here now." he suddenly ordered.

"What?! Why?" I surprisingly asked him.

"To find out if you were telling the truth. And only a full-fledged Witch can help us to find out what really happened to you."

Cullen Village Ruin

"What are you planning now Norward?" I heard Navina asked me after we were left alone while the others came back home.

I sigh. "Honestly, I really don't know."

"Well, that is expected."

"How about you? What are you planning?"

"Since 'she' already left 'her' job, I can no longer protect her but one thing for sure. The turn of events will soon arise."

"What does it mean?"

"I don't know for sure but there are some changes in the future. To be exact, the future of those three will definitely take place at the right time."

Reinhardt's Residence

Medea finally came and she looks at me longer enough before she said yes.

"What was that?" I irritably asked her. Because I felt like she was just being forced to do what my brother asked her to do and I was annoyed by that. "Are you just forced to help me figure out what happened to me?!"

"No." she firmly answered.

"Then why?" Kieran and I asked in unison.

Medea takes a deep breath. "My reason why I even had to think about whether to help you or not is because of the power that surrounds you now."

"What are you talking about?" I asked clueless.

"I can't explain how dark it is that surrounds you but maybe because it was been a long time since you lost contact to it so the ones around you now are a bit thinner and somehow, I can find out what happened to you or maybe I can find out the person you met earlier."

"That is good to know." Kieran answered. "So, can you start now?"

"Yes." She replied. "I will just prepare the things I will need so that I can begin."

We both stand not too far from Medea as she prepares her things at the round table that she asks from us to prepare. And by the looks of it, she's using some dark elements like the black candles, black bowl and she puts some signs at the table using her chalk. A so called circle of spell and she even surround herself onto the floor with a dusty white sand or salt, I am not sure but it is really fine that when it blows by air it will surely blows away like a dust. That I silently question since I saw her not only once or twice, she made a spell but this is the very first time she surrounds herself something like that, why? Why would she do that thing?

"What is that thing that surrounded on you?" surprisingly Kieran asked the question I am silently asking myself.

"Fine white sand." She answered.

"And what is that for?" finally I speak out my curiosity. "Because as far as I remember, you didn't do anything like this before," I said.

"Yes indeed. This is my first." She answered. "And I am badly needed it this time."

"Why?" I am more curious right now.

"Because I'm not going to make a casual discovery of your lost time, Prince Kanik," she seriously answered. "And whoever is behind the dark darkness that envelops you I am sure he has strong powers and he can discover me once I do this spell. That will put me in danger the reason why I needed this fine white sand that will protect my location. Though I am not so sure how long it will last."

"No! Stop it!" I immediately answered. I just decided not to continue exploring in my lost time because I was sure that Medea would only be put in danger because I myself knew that 'The Joker' I met, I knew there was something strange about him that I could not explain. And the more I think of it, he emits something evil than no one has.

"What? Kanik! You can't just decide to stop it because it's so important that we know what happened to you!" Kieran madly stated.

"But--"

"No worries." Medea cuts me off. "I can handle this."

"But…"

"As I said earlier, the darkness that surrounds you already got thinner and for that reason I agreed to do this so, just let me handle this and wait for the result, alright?"

I saw her determination that made me to finally agree. "Fine do it." as I agreed she begins.

"Deus temporis. Resiliunt amissum tempus. Et transeamus ad obliuionem."
