Chapter Seventy-Seven:

Sage's Residence

"We have a serious matter. 'The Joker' came back."

I suddenly got up from my seat when I heard the bad news from Netro. One of the news that anyone who knows 'The Joker' wouldn't want to know about its return to the terrain and knowing about it means the twins will soon be awake.

"Are you sure about that?!" I seriously asked.

"Yes, I saw it in my vision. He emerges out of the deepest abyss of darkness."

"I can't believe this will happen again." I spoke. "Where do you think, he will start to go?"

"I can't figure it out but I think he won't do the same tricks that he done long time ago."

"What tricks he was planning today?"

"I am not so sure about it but I think he was planning to create a silent chaos."

"Silent chaos?"

"Indeed." He answered and explained. "He was going to start a story to tell."

"To whom?"

Netro heavily sigh unease. "I'm sorry but I couldn't see it in my vision."

"That…" I take a very deep breath before turning myself at the window while I look at the horizon, "This will be a big problem! And I have to let it be known to others." I finally decided. "Kasper!" I quickly called out my right hand.

"Yes, Duke Norward?"

"Send my message to the two Elders and to King Harkan. We badly need to talk." I ordered.

"How about Princess Navina?"

"I will tell her that since we will meet together to her place."

"Yes, Duke Norward." He answered. "I'll leave now." he said that I just nodded.

"And you will come with me Netro." I said as turned to him. "You need to prove to everyone what you just saw in your vision."

"Yes, I will come."

"Good! Let's go! Because knowing 'The Joker' he won't stay still and I think right now he was doing something to begin his journey."

Reinhardt's Residence

I had long stood at the entrance of our garden and I was staring at nowhere. I feel like I went somewhere and a creature locked me in there just to say, he wanted to tell a story. A story that he will tell if he let me listen to it but then he suddenly decided that he will just let me know the story if I will be the one to ask of. Making me more curious of what was the story about and yet just a blink of an eye, he vanished without a trace.

Where did he go? Why he suddenly decided to let me decide if I want to hear it or not? What is he planning? And who is he really? The odd look of him makes it so memorable in my memories and even if I think of it, it was the very first time I saw someone like him. He looks like a girl but at the same time his voice is so deep, cold and manly. Not only his voice looks so deep and cold but also his eyes, as if I am being drowns into the depths of hell.

I really don't know what did just happened but I am so sure, he will not do anything good. He will do more evil than good. That scares me through my bone and I don't really want to encounter him anymore.

"Prince Kanik!" suddenly I heard Maury's voice. "Are you alright?" he worriedly asked me.

I look at him expressionless. "What?" I curiously asked him.

"God! You've been gone half of a day! And we couldn't find you elsewhere."

"Kanik!" suddenly I heard Keiran's voice and when I turned around, he speeds up going to my side. "Where have you been?" he worriedly asked me that made me confused.

"Wh-what are you talking about? I'm just here at the… garden…" doubt suddenly filled me. What is going on, as far as I remember I came to the garden to meet Maury but then someone blocks my way. "The Joker." I just suddenly mentioned that name.

"Who's the joker?" Kieran asked wondering of what I am talking.

"I mean… an odd guy suddenly blocks my way as I am about to meet Mau and then, he introduced himself as 'The Joker' and he said that he wanted to tell a story."

"What are you talking about?" Kieran answered. "And where did you meet him?"

"Here. At the garden." Kieran and Maury look at each other meaningfully that confused me more. "What! What does it mean with the way you look at each other?!" I irritably asked.

"Prince Kanik," Maury answered. "We have been looking for you here in the garden as well as inside the house for almost half a day but no matter what we look for you we have not found you." He seriously answered.

Is he serious? I wanted to ask but somehow, I really felt Maury's words are all true, but how?

"Kanik," Kieran speaks up. "Really? Where did you go? And who was your talking to? Who was that Joker you were telling?"

Downtown

"Bela."

"Hi, my Princess." He greeted back with a wide smile.

"You… you are back." I am so surprised seeing him around downtown and he still looks the same, he really looks so odd and he really stands out around the whole downtown. "This can't be!"

"And why so?"

"You are not supposed—no! You supposed to lock up at the depths of hell! That no matter what you do! You will never escape your confinement!"

He suddenly laughs out loud before he answered. "My dear Princess, have you forgotten what is my real purpose in life? And that is to fulfill what is destined to happen from the very beginning. To awake the real God of Darkness, the depths of the deepest darkness! And I am just the medium and will be perished once I fulfill my duty but then will soon rise once again if the God of Darkness won't lead his realm."
