Marvel X The Boys

Chapter 39: The second last end

The Kaiju roared again, its spines crackling with energy as the sky above it fractured further. The dimensional rifts were getting wider, unstable, shaking the very fabric of reality.

Alex, still glowing with raw cosmic power, tightened his grip on the Gauntlet.

He wasn't ready for this.He wasn't trained for this. But he sure as hell wasn't about to back down now.

Tony hovered above the wreckage, scanning the Kaiju.

"Okay, update: That thing is still standing after everything we've thrown at it."

Steve adjusted his shield. "Then we hit it harder."

Butcher, wiping blood from his lip, muttered, "Can't believe I'm agreeing with Captain bloody America, but yeah. Let's kill this oversized lizard."

Spider-Man, webbing onto a crumbling streetlight, pointed at Alex.

"Hey, Space Mittens, you got any god-tier moves left, or are we actually gonna have to work for this win?"

Alex winced.

"I mean, I could try something, but… y'know, no clue how to use this thing properly!"

Deadpool threw an arm around him.

"Aww, my little baby Thanos is growing up! So proud!"

Homelander, still glaring daggers at Alex, scoffed.

"You're all acting like this is a challenge. I'll finish it."

He launched into the sky, eyes glowing—

But before he could move—

CRACK.

The Kaiju's tail whipped across the battlefield, faster than anyone expected.

Homelander barely had time to react before—

WHAM!

He was sent flying through three skyscrapers.

Deadpool Loses His Mind

Deadpool fell to his knees in pure joy.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

He wiped a tear from his eye.

"OH MY GOD, THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL!"

Even Frenchie chuckled. "I will admit. That was satisfying."

Spider-Man sighed. "Alright. Can we focus before one of us gets yeeted next?"

The Kaiju began to glow.

Its entire body pulsated as it absorbed energy from the rifts above.

Then, with an earth-shattering roar—

It opened its mouth, charging up an attack big enough to level the entire city.

A deep hum filled the air, making the very sky tremble.

Alex's pulse skyrocketed.

"Uh. That… doesn't look good."

Tony's suit flashed red with warnings.

"UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE CENTURY, KID!"

Steve turned to Alex. "Whatever you're gonna do—do it now."

Alex swallowed hard.

His mind was a mess of panic, instinct, and sheer desperation.

But then—

Something clicked.

The Infinity Stones hummed, resonating with his thoughts.

He wasn't just wearing the Gauntlet.

It was listening to him.

He took a deep breath.

And with one simple thought—

"Erase this thing."

He snapped his fingers.

The moment Alex's fingers met his palm, the power of the Gauntlet erupted.

A pulse of golden energy exploded outward, washing over the battlefield like a tidal wave.

For a moment, everything was silent.

The Kaiju, mid-attack, froze.

Its eyes dimmed.

Its body flickered.

Then—

It began to disintegrate.

Not explode.Not burn.

Just… vanish.

Piece by piece, its form unraveled, dissolving into nothingness.

The sky shifted. The dimensional rifts started closing, stabilizing as if the threat that had opened them was never there.

Within seconds—

The Kaiju was gone.

Like it had never existed.

Silence.

The battlefield stood still.

Everyone just stared at Alex.

Homelander, having just flown back from the rubble, froze mid-air.

Steve lowered his shield.

Tony's HUD was glitching out.

Spider-Man, still clinging to a wall, whispered:

"…Holy sh**."

Deadpool, who had been completely quiet for ten whole seconds, finally exploded.

"OH MY GOD, HE DID THE THANOS SNAP!"

He fell backward onto the pavement, kicking his legs in joy.

"HAHAHAHA! YOU ARE OFFICIALLY THE MOST BROKEN SIDE CHARACTER EVER!"

Alex, still shaking, looked down at his hand.

The Gauntlet's glow dimmed.

The city was still in ruins.

The battle was over.

But the damage was done.

Homelander is PISSED

Before Alex could even breathe, a blur of red and blue shot toward him.

Homelander grabbed him by the collar, lifting him into the air.

"You little sh**!" he growled.

Alex gasped for air.

"—DUDE—TIME—OUT!"

Homelander's eyes burned with rage.

"You just wiped out the biggest fight of my LIFE! You think you can just walk around playing God?!"

Alex, still dangling, gasped. "I mean… technically I can—"

Homelander tightened his grip.

Deadpool leaned over to Spider-Man.

"Hey, should we, like… do something?"

Spidey shrugged. "Kinda wanna see where this goes."

"I should kill you right now!" Homelander seethed.

Alex, panicking, instinctively reached out—

WHOOSH.

The Reality Stone flared.

And suddenly—

Homelander was holding nothing.

Alex had teleported behind him.

"DUDE! STOP GRABBING ME!"

Homelander spun around, furious.

"You—!"

Before he could finish, a massive explosion rocked the sky.

Everyone turned.

And saw—

Shattered glass-like rifts forming above them.

A distorted roar echoed through the closing portals.

A voice—not of a monster, but something far worse.

And then—

The TV screens across the city flickered on.

A news anchor trembled in fear.

"We interrupt this broadcast with breaking news—"

"—A massive anomaly has been detected. A… a being has just arrived. He—he's already attacking. It's…"

The anchor froze.

The camera feed glitched.

Then, in a sudden burst of static, the screen changed—

To a shadowy figure standing in a burning city.

A voice, calm and sinister, echoed through the speakers.

"Well, well… looks like I missed the fun."

A slow clap.

Then—

The feed cut to black.

Alex's stomach dropped.

Deadpool sat up.

"…Oh. Oh, we are SO screwed."

And just like that—
