Marvel: I can summon heroes from League of Legends

Chapter 27: Chapter 26. Vibranium Trade, Money Flows Like Water!

Noah decided to sell vibranium through S.H.I.E.L.D., asking Nick Fury for assistance. S.H.I.E.L.D. had numerous connections, and selling a small amount of vibranium wouldn't be difficult. Moreover, Fury himself might want to buy it.

"Lissandra, contact Coulson."

"Sure, Noah," Lissandra replied, flying over to him and initiating the call to Coulson.

Inside S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, where Coulson was attending to his tasks, his phone rang. Placing his documents on the table, he picked up the phone and saw that it was Noah calling. He answered immediately.

"Noah, how can I help you?" he asked.

"Yes, Coulson, I need your help. Could you pass the phone to Nick Fury?" Noah replied.

"You want to talk to the Director? Is it something important?" Coulson was surprised.

"Yes, it concerns the future," Noah said. He knew that to get Fury's help, he needed to intrigue him, to provide a bit of information.

"Understood," Coulson responded briefly. He hurried to Fury's office, knocked, and entered without waiting for a reply, closing the door behind him.

"Coulson, something urgent?" Fury asked, seeing him in such haste.

"Director, it's Noah calling. He says he has information about the future," Coulson said, holding the phone out.

"Oh? Hand me the phone," Fury said, intrigued.

"Noah, did you see the future through that mysterious organization?" Fury asked directly. Since Noah had informed him about a traitor within S.H.I.E.L.D., Fury had been on edge, unable to ignore an unknown threat.

"Don't rush. Help me with one thing first, and I'll tell you what you want to know," Noah replied.

"What do you need help with? Speak up," Fury, now even more curious, asked.

"Have you heard of vibranium? I have some of that metal, and I need you to help exchange it for money," Noah explained.

"Vibranium?" Fury was well aware of this rare metal. Captain America's shield was made from vibranium combined with other metals, created by one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s founders, Howard Stark. S.H.I.E.L.D. had long sought vibranium, but it was extremely rare. Could Noah really have vibranium? Was this a gift from that mysterious organization?

"How much vibranium do you have?" Fury asked, pondering how powerful Noah's order must be if they were willing to sell vibranium.

"I have about 100 kilograms of vibranium," Noah said. He knew vibranium was incredibly valuable, and 100 kilograms of it would be worth billions of dollars, more than enough for now.

"100 kilograms?!" Fury was shocked. S.H.I.E.L.D. couldn't afford that much vibranium, and yet Noah was offering 100 kilograms. This suggested that Noah, or his organization, had even more vibranium than that.

After a brief consideration, Fury made a decision.

"We can buy the 100 kilograms of vibranium from you at the market rate—ten thousand dollars per gram," he said. Fury wanted to personally control these vibranium reserves, though the payment would, of course, come from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s funds.

"No problem," Noah agreed. He didn't care who bought the vibranium, as long as he got the money.

"Coulson, handle this deal," Fury said, turning to his subordinate and giving him some instructions to prevent information leaks. Coulson nodded, indicating he understood.

"Got it, Director," Coulson said, taking on the task. He gathered the necessary materials and headed to meet Noah.

"Now, Noah, can you tell me about the future? What did you see?" Fury asked once Coulson left. For Fury, the future was crucial—knowing upcoming events would allow him to prepare for potential crises.

"Alright, recently, I saw the future and noticed one particular person."

"Who exactly?"

"Captain America. I saw him in the future."

"Captain America? You mean the war hero, Steve Rogers?" Fury was surprised.

"Yes, him. In the future, they find him under the ice in the Arctic Ocean," Noah confirmed. In reality, all he knew was that Captain America was beneath the ice in the Arctic Ocean.

"Do you know the exact location?"

"I'm not sure, but it could be somewhere off the coast of Alaska," Noah suggested.

"Understood. Do you have any more information on the issues you raised last time?" Fury asked after a short pause.

"Not yet. Why are you in such a hurry? If something happens, you can always call your secret weapon, and the problem will be solved," Noah said, hinting at Captain Marvel.

Hearing this, Fury's expression darkened as he replied, "Some things we must handle ourselves to ensure we're on the right path."

Fury had indeed thought about calling Captain Marvel, and his pager was capable of sending messages to her. But Captain Marvel believed Fury and his team could handle certain things on their own, as she was busy maintaining peace across the universe.

After this, Fury and Noah continued their conversation, with Fury trying to learn more about the mysterious organization backing Noah, while Noah entertained him with stories from the League of Legends universe. Ten minutes later, there was a knock at the door—it was Coulson.

"Hello, Coulson!" Noah greeted him at the door, and Coulson greeted him in return. They moved into the living room together.

"What is that?!" Coulson exclaimed upon seeing Lissandra floating in the air.

"Coulson, what's the matter?" Nick Fury asked, hearing Coulson's voice.

"This is my artificial intelligence, don't be surprised," Noah said.

"Hello, Agent Coulson," Lissandra greeted him.

"No way! You have an AI? How did I not know about this?" Coulson was astonished. He had studied all the data on Noah, but there was no mention of his ability to create AI. Was this a gift from someone else? Iron Man? Or that mysterious organization?

"There's a lot you don't know. Hold on, I'll bring the vibranium," Noah said.

Coulson sat on the couch, observing the floating Lissandra. Nick Fury, listening in, was also pondering where Noah could have acquired such advanced AI. If it came from that organization, their strength needed to be reassessed.

Noah went to his room, took 100 kilograms of vibranium from his system, and shaped it into ingots. Returning to the living room, he presented the vibranium to Coulson.

"Here's the vibranium," Noah said, handing an ingot to Coulson. Struggling slightly, Coulson set it on the floor. He couldn't understand how Noah could handle something worth billions of dollars so casually, assuming it was real vibranium.

Coulson carefully inspected the vibranium and said, "Alright, Director Fury will transfer the money. If you need anything else, feel free to reach out to me."

Coulson packed the vibranium into a black case and hurried off. He needed to verify its authenticity at S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters.

"Director Fury, the vibranium is with Coulson. You can transfer the funds now," Noah said, returning to his conversation with Fury.

"The money has already been transferred. Now, Noah, tell me more about your AI," Fury immediately shifted the conversation back to the AI after completing the transaction.

"Lissandra, show our director what you can do," Noah said.

"What?" Fury was puzzled, but suddenly his phone filled with indecipherable symbols, then switched to a video call where Noah greeted him.

"What did you just do?" Fury asked.

"Nothing special, just hacked S.H.I.E.L.D.'s security and accessed your phone. By the way, you should upgrade your cybersecurity. Lissandra said breaking through your network was quite easy," Noah replied, smirking. Seeing Fury's face darken even more, he decided to cut the conversation short, fearing a harsh response.

"If I told you I designed her myself, you wouldn't believe me. So, just consider it a gift from the mysterious organization," Noah added.

"If you see anything new about the future, I hope you'll inform me. That's all for today... Have your AI end the call," Fury said. He tried pressing the button to end the call, but nothing happened. With an even darker expression, he repeated his request.

Suppressing laughter, Noah nodded to Lissandra, and she ended the video call.

"Lissandra, show me my bank account."

On Lissandra's display, Noah saw the numbers in his bank account. He had never seen so many zeros in his life. Even though he had enough vibranium to be one of the richest people in the world, the number of zeros still excited him.

"Lissandra, we're rich!"
