Chapter 89: Chapter 89: The Debt King's Transformation Device

Han Yu's breathing suddenly became a little hurried. His unusual behavior caught the attention of Captain America beside him, who stepped forward and asked with concern if there was any other trouble. Han Yu simply shook his head.

"I'm not going back with you. You guys go ahead without me."

Han Yu tried his best to keep his expression from showing too much surprise. With a casual wave of his hand, a helicopter formed from Green Lantern energy hovered in mid-air, its cabin door open to them.

Captain America knew the matter had concluded, and there was indeed nothing more for Han Yu to do. After expressing his gratitude, he boarded the helicopter with Natasha and headed back to S.H.I.E.L.D. There would be plenty of "overtime" waiting for them in the coming days.

After watching them leave, Han Yu returned to the cabin and found a secluded room. He spoke aloud, "Summon the item: Decade's Transformation Device."

As soon as he finished speaking, two shadows appeared before him. He reached out to catch them, and the objects that landed in his hands were exactly what he had imagined.

Kamen Rider Decade's Transformation Device!

"What a 'Debt King' indeed."

Han Yu chuckled and shook his head. The reason it was called the 'Debt King' was that this Kamen Rider frequently traveled to the worlds of other Kamen Riders, defeating them to acquire their cards and gain their transformation forms.

This behavior resembled debt collection, and as a result, fans humorously nicknamed him the "Debt King."

"This is the cardholder... Wait, why are all the cards blank?"

The other object was the cardholder usually attached to Decade's belt, which typically held numerous Rider Cards. The cardholder in Han Yu's hand did have cards—but only three—and each one was completely blank.

"System, what does this mean?" Han Yu asked.

The Store System replied, "The cards for this item series must be collected by the protagonist. The method is to insert a blank card into the target to record their data."

Han Yu understood and suddenly laughed. He muttered to himself, "Thankfully, I don't have to turn people directly into cards. That would make me too many enemies."

"How do I obtain these cards? Can I buy them with upgrade points? Are there specific cards I can purchase?" Han Yu asked next.

The Store System responded, "One blank card can be purchased for 30 upgrade points. Cards are divided into S, A, and B tiers, priced at 300, 200, and 100 points respectively."

"Oh, come on! You might as well just rob me outright!"

The prices for specific cards were clearly designed to exploit him. Han Yu didn't even have enough upgrade points for a promotion right now, let alone points to buy these designated cards.

Even the cheapest B-tier card cost 100 points—that was already one-fifth of the points he needed for his next promotion!

"Who can afford this?"

Han Yu shook his head helplessly. He really should have saved some upgrade points instead of spending them so recklessly. Now, when he needed them most, he had nothing left.

"Wait, I still have a 'Basic Skill Selection Card.' I'll use it now."

Han Yu suddenly remembered he still had this item. It had been sitting unused for so long that he had nearly forgotten about it. Compared to his other tools, this one had an incredibly low presence.

The Store System said, "Please select a basic skill."

Han Yu thought for a moment and said, "Choose something related to gaming."

In the days that followed, Han Yu planned to have Ultron create more games. Everything else could be acquired through the Decade Transformation Device, but gaming skills couldn't. Han Yu was too lazy to practice them, and since he had such a useful tool, why not make good use of it?

"Selection successful. Reward: Master-level gaming skills. Target game: Link-Up."

Han Yu: ???

Link-Up? What the heck? Was this what he asked for? Forget whether this world even had Link-Up—even if it did, what use would master-level skills in it be? Who was he supposed to compete against in Link-Up?

"Oh, I get it now. I forgot to specify the 'target game.' You know, you shouldn't be called the 'Store System.' You should be called the 'Scam System!'"

Han Yu didn't even bother asking the Store System why this happened. In the end, it would just brush him off with a standard, "All rights of interpretation belong to the system."

The Store System remained silent.

The initial excitement from obtaining the Decade Transformation Device had largely faded due to this mess. Han Yu carefully stored away the transformation device and decided to leave for now.

Before leaving, Han Yu took the Zola Algorithm from the Lemurian Star. This was a valuable asset.

The algorithm was a supercomputing program capable of analyzing people's future behaviors through their purchase records, medical history, and daily activities. Han Yu intended to combine it with the mutant detection program he was developing with Ultron.

This way, even hidden mutants could be located.

After returning to the store, Han Yu immediately dragged Ultron out of the computer game room, and the two went to Ultron's workspace.

Han Yu handed Ultron the USB drive containing the Zola Algorithm and explained his intentions.

"You want to combine these two programs? No problem. Let me take a look at what we've got here."

The mechanical parts on Ultron's hand shifted, forming a USB port. He inserted the USB drive containing the Zola Algorithm and let out a soft hum.

"This is a massive analysis program. Quite fascinating."

"People say this program can predict someone's 'future.' Is that true?" Han Yu asked.

"It's true. The world is deeply entrenched in the internet age. Aside from a few extremely remote areas without WiFi coverage, most places are connected. People plan their behaviors and daily routines using their mobile devices. This program organizes and analyzes all that data to predict possible future actions. It's truly an impressive piece of technology!"

Even Ultron couldn't help but express admiration, which spoke volumes about the program's capabilities.

"Alright, then hurry up and merge these two programs for me. I need them urgently. Be careful not to damage anything," Han Yu instructed.

"Don't worry, boss. To be thorough, it'll take about six hours. I'll also update some data along the way since this program is decades old, and parts of it are outdated. I'll handle it." Ultron responded seriously.

Han Yu nodded, planning to return to his room for some rest. Lying on his bed, he raised his hand and focused on the signal coming from his Green Lantern ring.

During his conversation with Ultron, Han Yu had subtly used the Green Lantern ring to verify if Ultron was telling the truth. If Ultron had been lying, the ring would have detected it. Since there was no response from the ring, it meant Ultron was being truthful.
