Nuxsus led Harley and Raven through the darkened streets, eventually arriving at an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of Central City. The building loomed over them, its walls covered in graffiti, its windows either shattered or boarded up. The air smelled of rust and old oil, but none of them seemed to mind.

Harley clung to Nuxsus's arm with a grin. "So, why are we here, Mr. Nux?" she asked, swinging her bat over her shoulder.

Nuxsus smirked, glancing at Raven before pointing at her. "For her."

Raven's eyes widened. "For me, Lord Nux? But why?"

He moved towards her, placing his hands gently on her cheeks, his crimson eyes locking onto hers. "I need to see your powers, my dear. To know if you can handle yourself."

Raven hesitated for a moment before nodding. "You're right… I will do my best."

She took a deep breath, stepping forward. Shadows gathered around her hands as she prepared to showcase her abilities. With a flick of her wrist, dark tendrils extended outward, slashing through the air like whips. Small bursts of energy erupted from her palms, striking against the rusted metal of the warehouse, leaving charred marks. She raised her hands, summoning an orb of dark energy, and sent it crashing into a pile of crates, reducing them to splinters.

After a few moments, she lowered her hands, panting slightly. She was still inexperienced—her movements weren't refined, and her attacks lacked the full force they could have. But the raw potential was undeniable.

Nuxsus nodded, clearly impressed. "That was… impressive."

Raven's lips curled into a small smile, a sense of pride filling her chest.

Then Nuxsus cracked his neck and stretched his arms. "Now, let me test something as well."

Harley tilted her head. "Wait, you're training? What for?"

Nuxsus grinned. "Testing a new special power."

Without another word, ZIP!

He vanished.

A sudden surge of electricity coursed through his veins. His body felt weightless, almost like he was teleporting—except he wasn't. His skin crackled with energy, his hair stood on end, and a surge of power raced through him. It was unlike anything he had experienced before. He grinned wildly and turned towards the nearest wall, focusing his energy.

BOOM!

A massive bolt of electricity shot forward, obliterating a section of the warehouse wall, sending debris flying.

"Hahahaha! This… this really is worthy of being considered Platinum!" Nuxsus laughed, reveling in the power coursing through him.

Then he turned to Harley, his grin widening. "Harley! Shoot me with that gun of yours! Now!"

Harley's eyes lit up with excitement. "Okay, Mr. Nux!"

She pulled out her pistol and fired three times.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Instead of his hardened skin blocking the bullets, they simply passed through him as if he weren't there.

"Intangible… Hahahaha!"

Nuxsus's eyes gleamed with delight. The power was exhilarating. He turned to Harley again. "Hit me with your bat."

Harley didn't hesitate. She gripped her oversized mallet and swung with all her strength. But instead of making contact, her weapon passed through him like he was a ghost, slamming into the ground with a loud thud.

"Wow! Mr. Nux, this is awesome!" she giggled, bouncing on her heels.

Nuxsus, high on the rush of power, turned to Raven. "Raven, shoot me with your magic!"

Raven hesitated, uncertainty flashing across her face. "Are you sure, Lord Nux? I don't want to—"

"Do it, Raven! It's an order!"

Something in his tone struck a chord within her. The word order sent a shiver down her spine, compelling her to obey. She nodded, raising her hands. Dark energy coalesced around her fingertips as she whispered, "Energy Blast."

A sphere of pure darkness shot forward at high speed.

BOOM!

The impact struck Nuxsus right in the chest, sending him flying backward. He crashed into a stack of metal crates, denting them upon impact. He coughed as he got back to his feet, the damage minimal thanks to his vampiric regeneration and hardened skin—but he was still stunned.

That actually hit him.

Laughter echoed through the warehouse.

From the shadows, Chaos emerged, floating in the air with her hands on her hips. "Did you enjoy that little flame?" she teased, her tiny form looking almost comical in contrast to the destruction around them.

Nuxsus narrowed his eyes at her. "What the hell was that?"

Chaos smirked, wagging a finger. "In the world where your powers come from, the ability known as Haki can still hit Logia users. In this world, magic functions in a similar way. Magic, in essence, is this world's equivalent to Haki. Of course, there are other forces that can still harm you as well."

She crossed her arms. "The DC Universe operates on a higher plane of existence compared to where you got your fruit. So, while your power is considered Platinum there, in this world… at best, it's Golden."

Silence.

Nuxsus twitched. His eye twitched.

Then he lunged forward, grabbing Chaos by her tiny body and shaking her.

"So I was scammed?!"

"AHHH, WAIT! NO!" Chaos yelped, flailing in his grip.

After a moment, he let her go. Chaos floated in front of his face, pouting with a light blush. "Don't do that again!" she shouted. "It's… embarrassing."

Nuxsus rolled his eyes. "Stop being annoying and just tell me why I was scammed."

Chaos huffed, folding her arms. "You weren't scammed," she grumbled. "Your power is still worthy of Platinum, but you need to be careful. Your intangibility isn't absolute—powerful enemies can still hit you if they know how."

"Tsk. Fine," Nuxsus muttered.

He clenched his fist, feeling the power surging through him once more. Even if his fruit wasn't truly untouchable, it was still strong. Strong enough to keep causing chaos.

Nuxsus's eyes flickered with excitement as he looked at the two women beside him. "Harley, Raven, you girls ready for your first battle together?"

Harley tilted her head, gripping her bat. "Battle? Are we fightin' someone?"

"I don't sense anyone, Lord Nux," Raven added, her dark eyes narrowing.

Nuxsus smirked. "Of course you don't. They'll be arriving in… three… two… one."

BOOM!

The entire roof of the warehouse exploded, debris scattering in every direction. A figure descended through the smoke, clad in a fully green suit with a glowing emblem on his chest. The energy around him shimmered with raw power as he hovered above them, arms crossed.

"Well, well, well… what do we have here?" the man drawled. "A clown, a goth girl, and the edgy kid from some average-at-best sitcom. This city really knows how to put together a team."

Nuxsus narrowed his eyes, but before he could speak, Harley let out a loud gasp.

"GREEN LANTERN?!" she shouted, pointing at him. "What are you doin' here, glowstick?"

Nuxsus arched an eyebrow. 'Green Lantern, huh?'

His gaze drifted past Lantern, and his smirk widened when he saw two more figures drop into the warehouse.

Batman.

And another figure—Green Arrow.

"So… the Bat brought you here?" Nuxsus said, cracking his knuckles. "Figures."

Batman's cape flowed as he stepped forward, his eyes locked onto Nuxsus with that signature unreadable expression. "I won't let you off easily this time"

"Let me off? If I remember correctly...Last time it was me who let you off..."
