Leviathan: Rise of the Abyss

Chapter 1: Prologue: The Prideful Beast

Long ago, before the creation of man and the rise of civilization, there lived a beast unlike anything the world had ever seen. It wasn't just strong—it was the strongest. In its hands lay the power to bring about chaos and destruction, enough to wipe out entire planes of existence without a second thought.

The Beast was an odd kind of creature. It didn't belong anywhere. It wasn't bound to any one realm or plane—it was just there. A strange thing, whose only purpose seemed to be destruction. And it didn't think much about its actions, either. It simply did.

Its veins were filled with chaotic blood, the kind that could shake the foundations of creation itself. Its body was as solid as the pillars of heaven, and its eyes glowed with divine light, able to see through all illusions and deceptions. Its wings, shimmering like an angel's, were both beautiful and dangerous—a reflection of what the Beast was.

The Beast roamed freely, crossing realms as if they were mere doorways. It answered to no one, did whatever it pleased, and destroyed whatever it didn't like. It wasn't out of hatred or malice, though. The Beast didn't hate anything—it just didn't care.

For a time, the Beast thought it was unstoppable. But its pride got the better of it. It turned its attention to its creator, the God of Light, the one who made the heavens, the earth, and all the stars in between. The Beast, in its arrogance, believed it could rise above even the one who created it.

The God of Light wasn't pleased, but He wasn't angry either. He was sad. Saddened that such a creature—one of His most powerful creations—had strayed so far. And so, He acted. The Beast was stripped of its freedom, chained in the deepest part of the ocean, so far down that no human mind could ever imagine reaching it.

Though the Beast's body was bound, its spirit wandered. It roamed the earth, invisible and untouchable, watching the world as it changed over millennia. But it could never enjoy it. The pleasures it once took for granted were now forever out of reach.

The Beast, once feared and unstoppable, became a mere story. A cautionary tale of pride and arrogance. Its name, Leviathan, faded into legend, whispered only in fear.

But legends have a way of becoming real when people least expect it. Deep in its watery prison, Leviathan stirs, waiting. And when it rises again, the world will remember why it feared the Prideful Beast Leviathan.
