"Yes I did,but they couldn't stop me from having the urge to kill people,well not until I found you"Alex said taking her by surprise.

"Me ?" She asked confused while Alex nodded.

"When I first saw you at the casino that day,I was on my way to kill someone that fucked up big time but when I try to kill him,your face keeps appearing in my head so I had to tell my men to kill him since I can't"Alex shrugged his shoulders and then lay his head on her laps as though what he was saying wasn't a big deal.

"But ...how" she asked still not understanding how she could be someone's cure.

"I first thought that it was a mere coincidence,but later when I became friends with you I began to sleep well without taking any sleeping pills. And the time when we went to visit your mom, I also had an episode that's why eyes were bloodshot and my hands were cut by glass" Alex explained.

"Oh that's why Jonas said I was your sleeping pills ?" Kim finally understood why she was the only one they called on when Alex is having an episode.

"Yes, you see my mind seem to recognize you" Alex got of her laps and stared at her.

"Baby look at me" Alex pleaded and Kim at the most enchanting green eyes she had ever seen.

"Kimberly I won't lie,I am a very dangerous mafia king,I am very brutal and I kill for fun even without batting an eye lid,but I would never attack until they pose as a threat or they first attack and baby I would never hurt you I swear I'd rather die that do it,coz I love you okay" Alex stared into her eyes lovingly.

"I don't know Alex,I'm in love with a dangerous mafia king,it's dangerous Alex" Kim replied not knowing what to do,she wanted a quiet life but now her boyfriend was a rich man, well not just a rich man but also a dangerous man,she was scared.

"Baby I swear I would never hurt you,pls don't be scared of me I'm still your Alex baby,pls don't go" Alex pleaded.

"But what is they come for us like Adolfo"Kim asked

"I will always protect you and your family with my life I promise just believe me" he assured her.

"I love you" Kim said making Alex smile

"I know baby,I love you more" they both leaned into kiss when Kimberly's phone suddenly rang with an unknown number as the caller. She picked the call and immediately regretted it,she never thought that could ever hear that voice again. It was her ......…...... scum bag father.

"What do you want ?" She asked emotinlessly

"Is that how you talk to your father"an angry voice replied. Kim snorted before answering in a cold tone

"Hah,it's funny coz I don't remember having a father, so what do you want"

"Okay Sarah calm down,I just wanted to talk to you"mr Foster immediately changed his time into a nice one, he was trying to leverage on her so he could t let his anger spoil things for him.

"First of all, it's Kimberly to you mr Foster and secondly bye I don't wanna talk to you, so you better tell me what you want or so help me God I will hang up" Kim states already loosing her patience.

"Ok Kimberly, I heard that you are dating me Chen now, I wanted to invite you both for dinner"Kim laughed knowing where her father was getting to just as she thought, her father wanted her for money.

"Yes Alex and I are dating but even if someone is to enjoy from the both of us it will only be his family,mom,Reese and uncle Nathan trust me you can never enjoy from it,this should be the last time you call me,I won't be as polite as I am now,goodbye mr Foster" she ended the call without waiting for him to speak.

Kimberly shut her eyes,leaning her back on the her closet as all the bad memories flooded back into her head. She felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist,the familiar smell hit her making her open her eyes as she hugged him and then wrapped her legs around his waist as tears fell from her eyes even if she doesn't want to cry.

"I'm i wrong to hate my father" she asked feeling relaxed as Alex place wet kisses on her neck.

"Well it depends on the reason why you hate him" Alex whispered to her and then placed her to sit on the bed with him.

"My mom and my dad used to love each other, mom loved dad so much that she gave her wealth to dad to manage, everything was going smoothly till when I turned six. Suddenly my dad started to act strange,he comes home late,answers secret calls, argues with my mom and even tried to hit her once but my mom wanted the marriage to work. On their anniversary,she even wanted to tell dad that she was pregnant for Reese but we got the shock of our lives" Kim turned to look at Alex as tears gushed down her chin and it broke him to see his little tigress cry.

"Do you know how it feels to see one you love with another woman before your eyes ? Dad brought another woman to our home and demanded a divorce from mom, I watched my mom plead with the asshole but he cruelly left us to die,and as if that wasn't enough he stole my mom's company breaking my mom who I have always known to be strong into unrepairable pieces. My mom began to crack, and then she finally got lost in depression especially when Reese was a spitting image of my father. I promised my self not to love anyone, coz I never want to be broken like my mom or Rose or even aunty Mandy who committed suicide because of her husband. I practically raised Reese, I wasn't given a chance to enjoy My childhood, because I started to take care of family though my hacking skills. You know I waited .... I waited for my father to apologize but he didn't and now out of no where he calls to ask if we're dating to get money from me, he is such an asshole why didn't he ask how we have been doing all this while. I really hate my dad" Kimberly cried in his arms till she fell asleep. After Alex places her on the bed his face turned into an angry one, he would never let any hurt his girlfriend even if it is her family.

Alex took up his phone and called Zeke who answered on the third ring.

"Yes boss"

"I want Jones enterprise to go bankrupt" Alex ordered.

"But boss that's Miss Kimberly's company"

"Do as I have said, he hurt Kimberly so he must pay for it, get me 40 percent of the company shares in 3 days I'm I clear" Alex ordered and Zeke pitied the man who has offended his bosses girlfriend.

"Yes boss I will do just that" Zeke replied
