In Naruto Trying to become a Saiyan from Kumogakure

Chapter 7: Ch 07. Ron's Growth & Identity

As time passed, it had already been almost a year since Ron's birth, and his development was nothing short of extraordinary. At just one year old, Ron could walk with surprising confidence.

His small feet are steady, even on the uneven terrain of Kumogakure's mountainous paths. A skill that requires body coordination, seems to be ordinary but to someone not used to walking was difficult for the 1st time, but Ron could do it with ease, after walking for a few minutes. Slow but steady steps, surprising for a newborn.

On one of Ron's outings with his mother, Ron couldn't help but feel "Although I have seen paths, they are not roads, with concrete, I wonder if it never developed due to ninjas not needing any?"

Ron's words were no longer simple babbling but structured sentences, each one delivered with the clarity of someone far older. And his actions seem to be modest and respectful, unbefitting of cute children.

His mother, though accustomed to the unexpected, was astounded. She often found him sitting cross-legged in their home, lost in his thoughts like adults do, and couldn't help but be more affectionate and tease her son for acting like a small adult.

One day she found Ron in the the family library, where information about general ninjas and other things was kept, scrolls unrolled before him, Ron was there as if reading, but that was not possible Raiya thought.

Children can learn to speak because they learn from their surroundings, as others talk. Learning to read on their own, recognizing characters, and matching them with sound. It's like solving a puzzle without the key!

While other children his age played with toys, Ron was reading tracing the symbols on the parchment with his tiny fingers, muttering the words under his breath as if trying to unlock their meaning.

She thought "How can he read?" Probably just saying things and looking at the scroll she whispered to herself.

But she still was curious watching as Ron was reading, she pointed at a character and Ron confidently said, "雷 (rai/thunder/kaminari)."

She was surprised. It wasn't just that Ron was looking at the scroll he was reading!! It was the understanding, the way his eyes lit up with recognition made her surprised. She couldn't help but ask Ron to read, and he read the scroll word for word.

It was pure talent, after all the brain collects information and makes you able.

Ron's thinking and Brain were probably unique in the world.

Whether the brain manageing the body to allow him to master the ability to stand stably on uneven ground within a few minutes of experiencing or the understanding that allowed him to understand a language, that he never read or written in the past was purely amazing.

Word of Ron's talents quickly spread internally. The higher-ups, known for their tough exteriors, would speak to him out of curiosity when visiting his parents. "The youngest son of the Raikage," they would say, with a mix of pride and curiosity. Some whispering followed while seeing him, in the huge manor, as if looking at someone of a star.

Of course, Ron did not mind people talking about him, as It was only natural for people to be curious. After all, he was the youngest son of the Third Raikage, and with that title came expectations. Even though he was surprised at his capability as a 1-year-old, which he thought was due to being children of ninjas.

That was until he noticed the way others looked at him. His mother, her eyes brimming with pride, often boasted to anyone who would listen. "Ron started walking at ten months, speaking at eleven, and now he's even recognizing kanji," she would say, her voice rich with affection.

But it wasn't just her pride that stood out. The reactions of others even his father's raised brow when he first saw Ron balancing on a narrow beam in the courtyard after he heard that Ron could read.

Even other children of ninjas didn't grow this fast. Ron noticed some trailing behind their parents, toddling awkwardly or still snugly secured in slings as his mother took him to the hospital often as Ron showed curiosity about her work. Some couldn't form words yet, let alone sentences. Most were still in diapers.

For the first time, Ron felt a flicker of unease. It wasn't a bad feeling, just an awareness that he was… different. His earlier assumption, that his rapid development was just the norm for ninja children, had been proven wrong. It made him wonder what else separated him from others.

Still, when his mother looked at him with such pride, and when his father gave him the rare approving nod and showed a prideful expression as of talking man to man, he couldn't help but feel a small warmth in his chest. If this difference made them happy, perhaps it wasn't such a bad thing after all.

Ron sat comfortably on the couch, a book balanced on his small lap. It was one of his favorite times of the day quiet moments where he could lose himself in stories and knowledge about the world. Today, he was reading about the origins of the five great nations, his tiny fingers carefully turning each page.

From the adjacent room, the murmur of his parents' voices reached his ears. At first, he paid no attention. His father's deep, steady tone and his mother's melodic voice often blended into the background of his reading. But this time, his name caught his attention.

"I should invite my brother to celebrate Ron's birthday!" Raiya, his mother, said enthusiastically. There was a warmth in her tone that made Ron glance up from his book.

His father's voice was more subdued, carrying a tone of reason. "Don't invite him just for a birthday," the Third Raikage replied firmly. "There are tensions right now. He manages the Land of Lightening's people as the Daimyo he's too busy for something so trivial."
