In Naruto Trying to become a Saiyan from Kumogakure

Chapter 13: Ch 13. Uzumaki Plan

Listening to his father's words Ron knew, he had to bring out the big gun. The fate of his plans depended on this, and he had to convince them.

Ron's small hands trembled as he clenched his hands, the weight of his father's words pressing down on him like a mountain. He knew that his father, the Third Raikage, wasn't wrong.

The Uzumaki would be attacked, as their strength would be seen as a threat too dangerous to ignore by the shinobi world. But the thought of innocent children and families being wiped out churned Ron's stomach.

Ron knew his father and understood that the third Raikage knew his character, although he was talented and smart, he had a little naivety and lack of experience with the cruelty of the real world, unlike ninjas, especially ones that experienced the warring states period, as he would often be called "my little Daydreamer" by his mother, as he would often just sit and think.

He glanced around the room. The Daimyo's face was contemplative, the elders' expressions ranging from steely resolve to faint skepticism. If there was ever a time to prove his worth, it was now.

"Father," Ron began, his voice steady despite the storm of emotions inside him. "I understand that the Uzumaki clan cannot survive the combined forces of the major nations. Their sealing techniques are too powerful, and their potential threat is too great.

"But if their destruction is inevitable, then let us act with both strategy and mercy." The elders stirred at his words, exchanging glances, but Ron pressed on.

"Not every member of the Uzumaki clan is a ninja. Their children, their civilians, their artisans, and skilled workers, are not the ones who pose a threat. What if, instead of condemning their entire clan to extinction, we save those who are defenseless and offer them sanctuary here in Kumogakure?"

The Daimyo arched an eyebrow, his curiosity piqued. "Sanctuary? For the survivors? What do we gain from this, Ron?" Ron met his uncle's gaze, determination lighting up his young face. "In exchange for our protection, we request their knowledge. Their sealing techniques, their craftsmanship, and loyalty which they give to us willingly."

"Those who are willing can rebuild their lives under our protection, and their skills will strengthen Kumogakure for generations."

An elder scoffed. "You're suggesting we burden ourselves with outsiders people who may resent us for what happened to their clan? Where will Loyalty come from?"

"No," Ron said firmly. "I'm suggesting we give them a reason to trust us. And if we treat them as equals, as part of our community, we gain their loyalty. They will have no reason to betray us if we ensure their survival and dignity."

The room fell silent for a moment. Then the Third Raikage spoke, his deep voice cutting through the quiet. "And what of their ninja? The ones who might retaliate or sow dissent within our ranks?"

Ron's heart raced. He had anticipated this question. "We make it clear that only those willing to give up their allegiance to Uzushiogakure and pledge loyalty to Kumogakure and join our Raikage clan will be allowed to stay.

And only children and none ninjas will be rescued, Of course for that we need to extend a hand when they are in a dire situation."

The Daimyo leaned back, stroking his stubble thoughtfully. "And how do you propose we negotiate this? The Uzumaki are proud and unlikely to submit easily. Especially with them being allied with Konoha and the Senju Clan"

Ron's eyes narrowed with resolve. "We approach them with the truth. Warn them of the impending attack by the other nations and offer them a choice; resist and face annihilation, or save their non-combatants and preserve their legacy through us. Their survival at least in part depends on accepting our terms."

Dodai, the Raikage's assistant, spoke up, his tone measured. "This plan could work, but it requires precision. If word spreads that Kumogakure is sheltering the Uzumaki, it could draw unwanted attention." "That's why we keep it discreet, until the last moment," Ron said.

"The children and non-combatants we save will be quietly integrated into kumogakure. Their knowledge will be shared with only a trusted few."

The Third Raikage folded his arms, his expression unreadable. "It's a bold plan, Ron. One that could backfire if not handled carefully. But after rescuing them will they not want to go back to Konoha their ally, and Konoha ninjas know our action and will try to rescue them also! So why would they choose us?"
