At the gala, Coulson had approached Lemu.

As soon as Alice heard the word agent, her expression darkened.

She stepped forward, positioning herself firmly in front of Lemu, her body language protective.

Agents—especially in the U.S.—were rarely seen as anything good, and her distrust was evident.

"Agent, he's just a minor. Stop harassing him, or I'll call the police immediately," Alice declared firmly, her tone sharp and protective. "There are plenty of reporters outside who would love to cover a story like this. Wouldn't that be fun?"

Lemu gently tugged at Alice's sleeve, his voice soft as he reassured her.

"It's fine. I'll just have a quick word with him."

Despite the interruption, Lemu decided to let it slide, mostly because this was Coulson, the renowned figure from Marvel.

He held a certain fondness for the man, especially for the iconic line he delivered before his death at Loki's hands: "You're going to fail because you lack conviction."

Turning his attention to Coulson, Lemu's expression grew serious, though his tone carried a hint of playfulness.

"Son of Coul," he began, with a knowing smirk, "I know why you're here, even if your approach was… let's call it abrupt."

Coulson blinked, caught off guard by the nickname.

Lemu continued, his voice calm but laced with authority.

"It's not the right time yet. When the moment comes, I'll reach out to you, and everything will go as you hope. Until then, please be patient and wait quietly."

The name Colson—or Son of Col—wasn't lost on Lemu, drawing a humorous parallel to names like Odinson.

Out of the corner of his eye, Lemu noticed Tony Stark entering through the main doors. He casually nodded in that direction, subtly gesturing toward Stark.

"Look, Tony's over there. Maybe you can ask him directly?"

Before Coulson could reply, Lemu added with a mischievous grin, "By the way, your organization's name is way too long. You should consider shortening it. I think SHIELD has a nice ring to it. If you decide to use that name, don't forget to send me the royalties."

Coulson's expression froze for a moment before settling into a polite, strained smile.

"Thank you for your time," he said diplomatically.

As he turned to leave, his mind raced. Son of Col? He didn't understand.

….

With Coulson gone, Alice's protective instincts hadn't entirely faded.

"Why would an agent approach you?" she asked, her voice tinged with concern. "Is there something dangerous going on?"

Lemu gently patted her arm, his relaxed smile putting her at ease.

"Don't worry about it. It's just Tony Stark-related business. I'm just an innocent bystander who happens to know a little bit. Nothing more."

Not wanting her to linger on the subject, he smoothly changed the topic.

"By the way, your cross necklace is beautiful. Did you buy it yourself?"

Alice touched the small black cross at her collar, her eyes softening.

"No, it was a gift from a friend of my parents when I was very young. I don't remember much about it."

Lemu nodded, intrigued. Before he could ask more, Alice's expression brightened with curiosity.

"Speaking of strange things—have you heard about what happened a few nights ago? Near Los Angeles and Malibu, people spotted unidentified flying objects in the night sky. Someone even recorded video footage. It looked like two shooting stars, but they could turn and loop in the air."

Lemu spoke with absolute certainty, his tone as serious as a scholar presenting a thesis.

"Actually, there are plenty of aliens in this world. They visit Earth more often than you'd think. If you're interested, I can tell you all about them."

Alice couldn't hold back a small laugh, her hand gently covering her mouth.

The sight of this earnest little guy, speaking as if he were revealing the secrets of the universe, was utterly adorable.

She didn't actually believe in aliens—did she?

If she did, that would make her even cuter!

Not far from them, a man approached with a confident gait.

Belen Hammer, the cousin of Justin Hammer, CEO of Hammer Industries, and himself a high-ranking executive in the company.

His familial connection wasn't particularly important. What mattered was that he was a young, dashing figure in his late twenties—a man often praised as the epitome of a self-assured, successful gentleman.

Events like this gala were his natural habitat, where he always seemed to take center stage. Women would naturally gravitate toward him, and business magnates from various industries always greeted him with polite enthusiasm.

But in all his years of attending such gatherings, Belen had never seen anyone quite like the breathtaking beauty in front of him.

Her delicate features, radiant presence, and every subtle movement seemed to draw people in, effortlessly capturing their attention.

Standing beside her was another beautiful woman, whose looks might have been equally stunning. Yet she lacked that indescribable spark, that added aura of magnetism.

Belen, holding a cocktail in hand, stepped confidently toward them, exuding charm. His smile was polished, his demeanor suave.

"Good evening, ladies," he began, his voice smooth and practiced. "What might you two beautiful women be discussing? May I have the honor of joining your conversation?"

Lemu and Alice exchanged a brief glance, their silent communication instantaneous.

Do you know this guy?

Nope. Do you?

Not a clue.

Belen, oblivious to the silent exchange, continued speaking.

"I happened to overhear your conversation about aliens. Incidentally, I once invested in the production of a film about aliens visiting Earth, titled Heavenly Meteor. It was quite successful, you know."

He swirled his cocktail with calculated elegance, the liquid within moving in smooth, rhythmic waves.

"For a topic like this, I dare say I have plenty to contribute. Perhaps I could become friends with two such fascinating women?"

Belen offered what he believed was an irresistible smile, certain he had captured their attention—especially that of the petite, blue-haired beauty whose youthful features carried a touch of innocence.

But in Lemu's eyes, this guy was intolerable.
