In the end, I told Ben briefly what was going on. When he heard about my goal, he was eager to help. Slightly surprised by this enthusiasm, I naturally agreed. Such a helper will not be superfluous. After our conversation, I pulled us out into the real world. I had to run to the classroom, as the lesson was about to begin. Gerda was already waiting for us there, and she glared at Ben for a long time. The boy took it well enough, even though he felt uncomfortable.

After the school day was over, I gave my friend a capsule with chilopnesis and my own Moonstone ring, explaining what it was for. According to our plan, Ben was supposed to put my mother to sleep with his ability, inject her with the drug, and then offer her a new examination, but at another clinic that was more expensive. I'd even found a good one. I didn't have to worry about the money, because the company was planning to give out a bonus for the work soon.

Ben did just that. As a result, a few days later his mum found out that she was completely healthy. After that, my friend nearly crushed me in his arms. And this was despite the fact that I had been reinforced with Pluto and Iredzumi's book.

There was still the matter of miraculous healing. That's where we tested the guy's E.G.O. capabilities. I supplied him with Light while he cleaned up all the information related to his mum's illness that was in doctors' heads, paper and computers. It wasn't easy, not having normal experience and strength, but it all worked out.

So we also did some experiments in parallel, trying to find out the limits of his powers. In the end we were able to find out that the abilities had enormous flexibility and variation. Through the information component, Ben was able to influence reality. To make a wooden board soft and flexible, fire cold and slippery, to reduce or increase gravity, to materialise an object or creature, so far not for long, and much more. But here the scale was extremely small at the moment, and a lot of effort was being expended. So far, Ben was having trouble even changing the colour of ten small leaves without my help. But that's just for now. He should get stronger in the future. And if anything, I'll give him more Light. But it's much easier for my friend to work with information in its pure form. On the same computer and servers to clean up or change the necessary data required almost no strength. This opened a lot of interesting possibilities.

After solving the problems with one friend, I got busy with the other. Scanning Daniel, I was able to confirm the version of accumulation, passively pouring out of me Light. I decided to do nothing for now. The blue man didn't have any problems in his life, so he wasn't in danger of turning into a Distortion.

I did not sit idle, either, actively practising my own and Pluto's book-given abilities. The process was a mixed success, as the new abilities were quite extensive. But it's not a problem, in time I will gain the necessary experience. From my abilities, I pulled up Light control and Sin enhancement. The latter was an interesting thing. You could amplify a blow or any attacking ability with one of the seven Sins to get certain effects. In gamer parlance, it was like adding an element to your attacks. Each one had a different effect. But I didn't know which Sin did what. It was necessary to master this power better and make some tests.

I also had time to go through Pluto's abilities. Only contracts could not be tested. There was no one to test them on. Although I did have one person in mind. Anna Stone, Afghan veteran. I thought she'd be a valuable subordinate.

By this time, I'd created a number of prosthetic limbs with different combat functions. To do this I had to download specialised information from some of the Workshops (these places made various weapons and armour). I was also inspired by Deus Ex, specifically Adam Jensen. Now I could recreate, perhaps, everything that this cyborg was equipped with. I just had to do a little more digging to get some interesting ideas.

In the end, I created a prototype that had a built-in high-frequency blade assembled from composite material, the ability to throw and explode it, electrocute enemies, and generate a protective field. Well the coolest part was the ability to accelerate the wielder several times. I'm not even talking about durability, extremely capacious batteries, protection from water, EMP, control as if it were a native limb and the ability to feel. Naturally, this was by far the most complex specimen. In addition to it, I've created less contrived specimens as well. In the future, it would be a good idea to make internal organ implants. I'm going cyberpunk in this neck of the woods.

And while I was making all sorts of fun stuff, we had a parents' day in class. Even my mum managed to make the time to come. Since the families were often quite large, it was mostly the student's father and mother who attended. Naturally all the classmates tried to behave as best as they could. After school, the parents of our magnificent fivesome began discussing their parenting matters while we chatted a little further away.

- Hey guys, why don't we go see a film? - I suggested it.

- Only if it's an action film! - Aki said instantly.

- I'd like to see a historical film, - said Gerda.

- Maybe a comedy? - Benjamin asked.

- I think sci-fi would be more interesting," said Daniel, smiling.

Yeah, that's going to be difficult.

Digression #1.

As the children chatted to themselves, and their parents to themselves, Naomi dropped out of the conversation, thinking about the current situation. Ruka's new agents were going to be arriving soon. And they would already be more careful. There was no way to track them. If she had at least a few subordinates, it made sense to try, but all clan members were needed in Japan. Okay, they wouldn't be able to defeat her in the city unnoticed, so they weren't likely to attack her. The daughter was also quite strong now. With this E.G.O. or whatever he was called, Aki could cause trouble even for her, let alone for enemies who didn't expect it. Yeah, that Kyle is a very interesting kid.

Turning to the children standing off to the side, she began to look at her daughter's friends. While the two boys didn't stand out, the predominantly black-clad girl seemed dangerous. Aki had said her name was Gerda. In addition to her name, she said a lot of other things that one wouldn't normally say in polite society. Knowing her daughter, Naomi could definitely tell that in some kind of competition, this "troublemaker" had been able to fight back, causing such violent emotions. And if she remembered Gerda's behaviour, which was somewhat opposite to Aki's, everything fell into place.

The woman even wondered how Kyle would keep the girls out of conflicts. Speaking of Kyle... Turning her gaze to the boy, Naomi noticed the four of them surrounding him, arguing intensely about something. From the words coming out, it was clear that the main topic was cinema.

At that moment, a small detail scratched the woman's mind. As if she was missing something important. What is it...?

- And she tells me that supposedly that's how the stars aligned," Alexander Blue said, interrupting Naomi's thoughts. - I mean...

- Stars? - said the Japanese girl quietly.

And at that moment she looked at Kyle Smith and it was as if she had an epiphany. Of course, this was the one the prophecy was talking about! The star that has four rays! These are obviously his friends. Aki is indeed bound to him by a bond of friendship. Maybe not just friendship. And now I see why it was said that the star was not from here. Genno simply meant she was from another country! Truly, the most complex riddles have the simplest solutions! How much her clan had thought about those words, suspecting that the creature mentioned in the prophecy was most likely from another world or dimension altogether, and it turned out to be just like that. The guy's words about the power of the Light also went into the same piggy bank. How could she be so blind?! It must be age, Naomi thought ironically.

Now, having realised all this, the woman could hardly wait until the end of the conversation and the road home to be alone with her daughter. But before she could ask the main question, Naomi asked about the girl she was interested in:

- Aki, doesn't this Gerda have any superpowers?

- Why?

- My senses and experience tell me that she is very dangerous. More dangerous than you.

- No way! I'm definitely stronger than her! - Akiko said indignantly.

- So what about my question? - The woman asked again, holding back a smirk.

- She's a mutant," the girl replied irritably. - But this time your gut failed you. That splinter can't be stronger than me, Mum.

- Whatever you say," she agreed ironically.

- Okay, I'm going to my room.

- Just answer one question. You knew, didn't you? - The woman asked, or stated, as soon as she and Akiko had undressed and entered the room.

- Knew what? - The girl asked perplexed, turning to her mother.

- That Kyle is the one described in the Genno prophecy," Naomi said.

- What are you talking about? - The girl asked glumly. - Kyle and what that crazy grandfather said? That's ridiculous.

- Yeah? Then why aren't you laughing?

- ...

- When did you find out? - Naomi asked in an impatient voice.

- Some time after Ruki's attack," Naomi replied reluctantly, realising that it was pointless to keep silent.

- And she didn't tell me anything.

- There was no point! - Akiko spoke fervently, trying to convince her furious mother. - Kai had already given me that ability! His role in the prophecy is fulfilled! Now I will destroy the Hand myself!

- Yeah. Just like that, you'll do what the whole clan has been unable to do for hundreds of years," Naomi said calmly and continued in an angry tone. - Don't talk nonsense! One man, no matter how strong he is, cannot defeat the Hands and their master! But one who has the ability to awaken the powers of others.....

- Don't you dare meddle in our affairs, Kyle! - The girl stormed off. - She and Aunt Emma have suffered enough! I don't want them to be victims of this endless slaughter!

- With the finding of the man from the prophecy, we can finally win," Naomi said with conviction. - You knew that and you didn't tell me such important information! How could you?! I've never been so disappointed that you're my daughter!

At those words, Akiko jerked as if she'd been hit. She had not expected such words. Gritting her teeth, the girl struggled not to cry. And the older Japanese woman continued.

- The elders spoke the truth. Living here has spoilt you. Instead of thinking of the good of the clan, you've been doing outright sabotage.

- I think about the good of the clan all the time! But at the same time, I'm not going to interfere with outsiders!

- Discreetly. If that were true, you'd have told me about Kyle in a heartbeat. And let me remind you, the guy already interfered. Now the Hand will never rest until he kills him. He's a prophecy man, just like you. And remember what you've been through.

- How will they know? - Akiko asked reluctantly. - You killed the witnesses, didn't you?

- I don't know. They have many eyes, ears and hands. It's not as much of a problem as you think. Anyway, as one of the elders of the clan, I have decided what to do. You will become Kyle's wife and have a child with him. Preferably more than one.

- What?! Y-you're crazy! - the girl said in astonishment.

- No, I'm not. Marriage and children are the best way to bind our families together.

- That's nonsense! I'm still 15 years old! What marriage and children?! - she exclaimed indignantly, pacing the room nervously.

- It's not nonsense. Some people start earlier and it's okay," the woman said with a vindictive smile. - Besides, you were talking about emancipation. Marriage would be just the thing.

- No. I don't agree! Kyle and I are just friends! I refuse!

- What, do you want to marry for love, like in fairy tales? - her mum asked ironically. - Alas, that's not available to everyone. Remember Akiko, you and I do not belong to ourselves and we must do everything for the good of the clan. Our lives have been paid dearly so that we can hope for a normal life.

- So what, if you have to sacrifice me, will you do it? - Aki asked sarcastically. - And Kyle?

- If I have to, I'll sacrifice myself first," the woman replied sadly. - Don't make me look like a monster. I want you to remember why we're still alive. Besides, believe me, Kyle will be the last to get hurt if Igarashi is gone. Until then, he'll be protected like the apple of his eye. Well, I found out and I said what I wanted to say. You can go to your room now.

- Thank you for letting me," Aki said sarcastically and turned around and walked out of the room.

Naomi looked at her sadly and sighed heavily. The woman understood Akiko. Besides, such behaviour with her only daughter was heartbreaking, but she couldn't afford to act on her emotions. The day she'd left the girl in the safety of the clan mansion and rushed with reinforcements to the scene of her husband and sisters' battle was forever imprinted on Naomi's mind. To the last, she had hoped that her loved ones were still alive. But the reality was too cruel. Out of spite for failing to kill the child from the prophecy ninja hands had brutally tortured the people dearest to her. Even children. After chopping the bodies into pieces, scattering them all over the neighbourhood.

Naomi, eyes dry with tears, personally gathered her family for the funeral. That day left a permanent wound in her soul. And it was then that she decided to lay down her life, if necessary, so that the young Igarashi, along with Aki, would not experience such a thing again. After what had happened, that cheerful Naomi had died with her family, leaving only a mortal shell that could mimic her former behaviour quite well. What had happened had broken her, and only revenge and the desire to make her daughter's life safer had kept her on the edge of the abyss.

Often wives loved their sisters as much as their husbands, and their children as much as their own. Naomi was one of them. To lose almost everyone dear to her and not even be able to die with them..... A terrible fate. And the realisation that they had died, for the sake of buying a life for you, was just eating away at the woman's soul.

She hadn't lied to Aki that she was willing to die first, sacrificing her life if the situation demanded it. The only thing keeping her from dying was her duty to her clan, her dead family, and her desire to see her daughter grow up. A glimpse of her grandchildren would be nice, too.

Kyle, on the other hand, would be protected by Igarashi. He was the hope of the clan and the woman was immensely glad that she had been able to find him. The woman would personally see to that and cover him with her body if need be. Just for saving her daughter, she was grateful to the guy and owed him a debt of gratitude. And that's the second debt Naomi has to repay. All she has to do is let Kyle open up and blossom like a lotus. Then everything will change.

And as for Aki's reluctance to marry the boy and her cries of dislike, let her be more honest with herself. At the very least she's interested in him. And with the boy, she won't have a problem with him at all. She remembers his views on herself. Aki's in danger of growing into an even bigger hottie. And she's popular with boys because she's easier to understand. If done properly, a couple of misunderstood kids will quickly bond and begin to improve the demographic problem.

Now all that's left is to destroy the cursed Hand. Nothing, Naomi had learnt patience. If she's alive by then, she'll savour the moment. Yeah. That would be the best present a dear son-in-law could get.

Taking out a special phone for talking to the clan and dialling the right number, the woman waited for the answer.

- Is something wrong? - A woman's voice asked her in Japanese. - You've been in contact with us recently.

- I found what I was looking for.

- What are you talking about? Wait... Are you sure? - Naomi was asked in disbelief and hope at the same time.

- Yes. There's a very small chance of error.

- Good... Good... So, do you need something? - Naomi's interlocutor asked after she had calmed down.

- Don't let them send more people here. This is enough for now. If you need anything, I'll let you know.

- We'll do our best. Anything else?

- In a little while, I'll send you all the information just in case. That's all for now.

- We're clear. Good luck, Sister.

- You too.

An hour later, Naomi sent the information to the clan, where the elders were already waiting. After reading the message, a heated discussion began. Most of them were glad that hundreds of years of bloodshed would finally end. The smaller, more rational ones realised that the fate of the clan would soon be decided and it was quite possible that few would live to see the end.

But there was another present who didn't like this sort of thing at all. After waiting for the end of the discussions, the intruder headed to his room, where a message was sent using a secret phone about finding the man from the prophecy and some information about him.

End of retreat #1.

Digression #2.

- The cursed Igarashi have found the Star. What are we going to do about it?

- Obviously. We send our best and finish him off. At least we have all the information we need. And if that's not enough, we'll just put a price on his head.

- Agreed.

- Agreed.

- So be it.

- Agreed. And then we'll get rid of the scum that's ruining our lives.

End of retreat number two.

Well, I had something to offer Stone, now I just had to do the recruiting. I was planning on going to her in disguise, thanks to Pluto's disguise abilities. The only thing left to do is to complete the device for changing behaviour, gait and so on. I've often heard that even if you change your appearance, you can be caught by various tricks that occur unknowingly. And given the abundance of all sorts of spy, secret and other organisations such a safety net will not be superfluous. Do not consider the locals fools. They can be very unpleasant surprises. And I don't have scripted armour in the form of Clark Kent glasses.

I thought for a long time, how exactly to embody in metal and other materials this device and stopped on a small implant, which will be located in the head. All I had to do was give the nanomachines the circuitry and within half an hour it was ready. Heh, it's a good thing I don't have to fear cyberpsychosis, otherwise there would have been a mishap. Unbelievable.

Now, being ready to meet the woman, I decided to start at night when she was asleep. It won't be difficult to get into her mental space. Both my abilities and Pluto's power would help me. He could do that.

Changing my appearance and voice to the most ordinary ones, I teleported to a small nook where no one ever went. A quick scan of the neighbourhood made sure there were only mice, cats and dogs around. That's perfect. This place is not far from my old house. Anna's house is about the same distance.

Having given a command to the implant to adjust the manner of behaviour and conversation, I went to the place where the woman lived. When I reached the place, I created a simple copy of myself and teleported inside the house, having seen the final place through the window. The room I found myself in was modestly but tastefully furnished. Basically everything was standard, except for the table on which there were photos with fellow soldiers and a few medals. There was even a Silver Star among them. I couldn't help but whistle. This medal was the third highest combat award. I also saw the Purple Heart and the United States Armed Forces Commendable Service Medal. Yeah, that's pretty impressive.

But that's not why I came here. It's time to get on with the business I came here to do. Sensing a woman, I went over to her. She was asleep and, judging by the emotions coming out of her, was having a bad dream. Using my powers, I found myself in a mountainous area with little grass. In the distance I could see a river flowing towards a green valley. But most impressive was the fighting, between the Taliban and US soldiers. Having made myself invisible, because both sides were shooting at me, and I didn't want to ruin my sleep by killing all these "nepis", I started to look for Anna Stone. When I found her, I went to her. The woman was just shooting back from the attacking militants, muttering something about the recurring dream and accompanying these words with a fair share of swear words. Waiting until she was behind the obstacle, he cancelled the invisibility, appearing right in front of Anna.

- Greetings, Miss Stone," he greeted her kindly.

- Fuck! - The woman exclaimed, pointing her gun at me. - Do you realise I almost killed you?! Oh, what can I say to you? You're just part of the dream.

The woman wore a uniform with digital camouflage, a helmet with black hair, armour and a mask covering half her face. Pretty standard.

- How rude. I'm not a part of your dreams, but a full-fledged and independent person.

- You're really weird," Stone mumbled through the mask. - But anyway, this is my dream, and a stranger couldn't have been in it.

- Heh, there's so much more to the world than our wise men ever dreamed of. Don't just dismiss some of the possibilities," I said as the bullets whistled around us. - No, I think we should switch locations.

- What do you mean...?

As she asked, I stopped dreaming, and we found ourselves in a clearing, in the middle of a dense forest. To the side of us was a small house. Nothing out of the ordinary. And silence. In contrast to the noise of battle, it seemed even physically palpable. An interesting woman's inner world. Apparently, after everything she's been through, she wants peace and quiet.

Anna Stone herself was now in casual clothes, and I could see her fully. The woman had black hair down to her chin, with fringes brushed back to hide the scarred right side of her oval face. The only eye that was visible was blue in colour. His right arm and leg were replaced by not the most expensive bionic prosthetics. The limbs were amputated below the elbow and knee. The woman was dressed in a simple T-shirt and short shorts, revealing numerous scars on the right side of her body. But even with all the injuries, Anna Stone was still beautiful and physically strong.

- What the hell is this? - said the woman, looking at her surroundings.

- This is your inner world. It's beautiful and peaceful. Perhaps I should find a place like this to rest.

At this moment I changed my appearance to humanoid, constantly changing outlines, consisting of white-coloured energy with blue eyes and made my voice neutral, from which it was impossible to understand my gender.

- What the hell?! Who are you such a...? Such a...? Such?

- It doesn't really matter," replied the woman, creating chairs for us and gesturing for us to sit down. After waiting for the frowning woman to sit down, I followed her example and continued talking. - The important thing is that I have something to do with you. Tell me Anna Stone, do you want to live a full life or survive?

- Pfft, stupid question, naturally I want to live a normal life," Anna replied irritably. - I am a veteran, I gave 7 years of my life for my country, I got PTSD, disability and ugly appearance! Because of this, I don't have and won't have a family with children! I am going crazy sitting in four walls because I have nothing to do! I can't work, also because of PTSD, and my brothers and sisters in arms are either suicidal, in mental institutions, or just homeless! And I've been living like this for twelve years!

The woman was looming over me with every word. A flash of rage. I've heard it happens. But she managed to come to her senses and calm down.

- I'm sorry. I... It's really hard, and I probably shouldn't have taken it out on you," Anna said in an apologetic tone, running her palm across her face as if to brush the dirt off.

- It's okay," I said, in an understanding tone. - I understand what it means to feel true despair. And I can solve all your problems. And the disability, and the scars, and the lack of loved ones, and the PTSD. None of that will be a problem. But not for nothing.

- Heh, nothing in this world is for nothing," Stone said, grinning crookedly, making the scars on her face tighten. - And what would I owe if I were to accept such a generous offer? A soul?

- Loyalty. I need a strong and skilful fighter. I'll give you the strength, but the skills are yours.

- Is that all? - The woman asked incredulously. - That doesn't seem like enough... And why do you need fighters?

- I'll answer the last question first. I think you've tasted the injustice of this world yourself. I can make it a better place. Not out of good nature, but out of selfishness and convenience. I want to give people a light that can restore their lost humanity. Hmm, it's pathetic, but it gets the point across," I said critically. - You see, people, despite hundreds and thousands of years of development, still can't simply agree with each other. What to speak of more? As a soldier who's been through some shit, I think you'll understand what I'm saying.

- You want to take over the world, like these lunatics that are being fought by similar lunatics? - remarked the woman sceptically.

- What were you listening to? Nothing was said about taking over. And anyway, the vast majority of people are fools. What's the point of wanting to be ruled by fools? - asked Anna, to which she hummed understandingly. - No, that's not what I want. To achieve the "maturation of humanity". It's like with children. Unless you explain to them that this is bad and this is good, they can do things. For example, not so long ago, by the standards of history, it was considered normal to eat a tribesman in a famine year. But now it is a crime and an adequate person would not do such a thing. Or you could compare it to an inferiority that needs to be filled. A disease of the mind that must be cured. With my Plan, I want to show people that the idea of living and letting others live, is better.

- Sounds like brainwashing," Stone snorted.

- So the principles that rule the world are also brainwashing, because that's what I want to awaken in people? What about television, the media, politicians, religions, opinion leaders, and parents who are brainwashed all the time? Then there is no need to re-educate murderers, maniacs, thieves and so on. The list could go on for a long time. And the effect of Light is more like "filling a void", not brainwashing.

- And what, after that all the shit stops? - Stone asked thoughtfully.

- In its current scope, yes. As for your first question, you can't betray me. I think that's payment enough. And if you try, you'll suffer an unenviable fate. And these are not idle threats. We'll sign a bilateral contract that will kill you if you betray me. If you like, you can think of it as magic for simplicity's sake.

- Perhaps someone else would say they don't believe in magic. Except that I've seen things in my life that are out of the ordinary," Stone said, looking at me differently. - But why me? There are more skilful soldiers, and healthier ones. So why the...?

- Doubts? That's normal. Well, I'll tell it like it is. You came to my attention by chance. And then I thought, why not do something useful? Get a good subordinate and help a good person at the same time. Because when a person feels desperate, someone has to come to him and lend a helping hand. I'll be that someone for you. That's what I'm here for. Now, take my hand," I told her, coming close to her and holding out the limb.

Anna looked at me carefully, closed her eyes for a second, grasped my hand firmly with a living limb and said:

- You know, and I agree. I've got nothing left to lose. All that's left is to get addicted to drugs and then just die a little later. Even if I live a little bit of a full life, it's better than this existence. Anything but this horror without end. And it's not the worst goal.

- You'd rather burn than rot?

- That's right.

- That's fine. Then let's sign the contract!

Having said that, I embodied a white sheet with black text, where I spelled out our duties. In short, I was obliged to cure the woman and enable her to lead a full life, while Anna was to serve me faithfully. In case of failure to fulfil the duties, the fate of the offender would be dealt with separately. Even so, Stone could not harm me by word, deed, or inaction, and I certainly did not plan to throw her away.

The contract also stipulated such conditions as protection of the mind from any curious Barbarians. All information concerning our affairs would be impossible to find out in any way. It was an additional safety net in case the Moonstone items were lost.

The woman read the text carefully three times before signing it with the pen I had created. I didn't put any conditions in the small print, everything was honest and transparent. As soon as we signed the contract, I felt a subtle, yet incredibly strong bond between us.

- That's great," I said happily as we signed the Contract. - Then the first stage of your rehabilitation will begin now.

- Yeah? How? - Stone asked with interest.

- You'll have to defeat yourself," I said, withdrawing some of my own Light and letting the woman absorb it.

Freezing for the duration of the operation with a blissful smile, the woman came to her senses and looked at me in surprise. Just at that moment, Stone's doppelganger appeared and began to induce her to accept her condition. The shadow recalled the failure to save her subordinates, resulting in the death of Anna's beloved, with whom they had dreamed of a large and friendly family. This seriously crippled her, from which the Distortion began to manifest itself in the form of an outgrown red hand. Fortunately this time I did not have to intervene, because the woman, although with difficulty, but was able to show determination and prevail.

After that, she was wearing her 'armour of lats'. They were quite massive and completely covered her body. The helmet did not look much like a standard knight's helmet, having no slits and being solid, a bit like the shape of the mask of sports fencers. I even had visions of Beetleman talking like Gordon Ramsay:

- This helmet is so unhistorical that the Spanish Inquisition is on its way to pick you up! - he yelled at us in my mind, holding a grunting pig toy.

Yeah, well, I guess my imagination's a little overactive.

- What is this? And why do I know how this armour works? - Anna asked me, raising the visor of her helmet.

- Is this armour your E.G.O. or is it...?

After about fifteen minutes of explanation, I was able to find out what this armour did. It turns out that the helmet allows you to see and breathe without having any vulnerabilities or reducing your view. In addition to the virtually impenetrable protection from any negative effects and enhanced physical characteristics, Anna could redirect the damage taken by selected people to herself. But this was only the first level of the ability. Afterwards, the woman could use the energy she received to attack her opponent. Like Sebastian Shaw or vibranium.

- What do you call your ability? How about the Unbreakable Diamond?

- Diamond is a bit much," the woman said with a chuckle as she examined the armour. - The Unbreakable Protector would be fine.

- Courage to defend, huh? - I asked rhetorically. - Not bad. Simple and tasteful. Well, I'd better get going.

- What about it? - the woman started to say, but I interrupted her.

- I'll have my subordinate come to see you tomorrow. He'll go over everything in detail and fix it up for you. And it is with him that you will work so far.

- Good... - Anna said, calling E.G.O. away.

- Now you should get some rest. Tomorrow will be a busy day. Good night.

- Good night.

With a snap of my fingers for added theatricality, I sent Stone off to sleep and I went back to my body. Before I left, I looked at the woman's peaceful face, smiled, and teleported back to my room. I could use some sleep myself, even with my superhuman body and mind.
