Chapter 63: Chapter 63
I look at the egg in front of me in excitement. Dany, sitting on my lap, also looks at the egg in excitement. Her dragons look at the egg in front of them and chirp in excitement as well. For some reason, the trio of dragons are looking at the Ender Dragon Egg in reverence.
It is as if they already know that the Hatchling Ender Dragon will be their leader.
Speaking of the Trio, they are already one meter tall and can melt iron with their breath. To teach them how to hunt, I took them to Minecraft World and let them hunt the local life there. Sadly, the first time they do it, they burn a massive chunk of a forest not too far away from my house. Luckily, nothing reaches my home.
Relaena, Alaera, and Saelys get bigger than in the canon timeline because we take care of them. Not only that, but the amount of mana in this place also helps with their growth, and by combining it with the potions we get from Valyria, they will become as big as the dragons in the past.
Not only that, unlike in the canon, all of Dany's Dragons are females. This makes them more protective of Dany than a male dragon. Male dragons are more aggressive and territorial, but female dragons are more protective of their family. That includes me and the people close to us, like Melisandre, Willem, and the servants who serve Dany.
"Brother! The egg is shaking! It is really hatching, like you said!"
I snap from my thoughts and look at the egg with expectation. Because of my connection with the egg, I know when it is about to hatch, and I decided to invite Dany to watch with me.
I feel the build-up of life coming from the egg, and after a couple of minutes, the egg starts to crack, and I can see a head punch through the eggshell. A second later, the shell crumbled, and I saw a small dragon release a cry. I immediately ran toward it and picked it up.
I raised the baby Ender Dragon and was surprised that it lacked the blockiness of Minecraft. I look down and notice that it is a male dragon and think of his name. I think for a second and say.
"Your name shall be Alduin. It is the name of a dragon so strong it can devour a world. Your scale reminds me of him."
I can feel Alduin is happy and content as he snuggles in my embrace.
"Brother! Let me see him!"
I smile at Dany and kneel in front of her. I show her Alduin, who looks at the three dragons in front of him.
"He has four legs!"
Yeah. Unlike Dany's dragons, Alduin is a True Dragon, and she has Wyvern. They are still dragons, but they are different kinds of dragons.
"Alduin is a bit special, Dany. He is the last of his kind."
"What do you mean, brother?"
"He lost his mother and is now alone. He is just like us. Without a father and mother to protect him. If he dies, there will be no dragon that is just like him."
She looks at Alduin in sadness and pats his head. Alduin purrs a little bit at her touch, and Dany says.
"Poor you. Don't worry. My brother and I will take care of you! You will be our family! Look! My children will be your friends, so you are not lonely!"
The Trio jumps up and down in front of Alduin before nudging him with their nose. I pat their heads and say.
"Let's tell the other about this and feed him something. I can feel his hunger."
"Oh! Can he eat cake?!"
"Sadly not, Dany. Just like your dragons, Alduin cannot eat cake."
"But they are delicious."
"I know they are, but it is not good for them."
She releases a disappointing noise and nods.
"Okay! Then I will eat all the cake!"
I laugh and pinch her cheek.

|3rd POV|
"Dragons?! They have dragons?!"
Jon looks at Varys with a shocked expression on his face.
"Yes, my lord. My little bird gives me the news; this time, they know this is real. The Solaris Kingdom is celebrating the birth of their king's dragon. It is a unique dragon that we have never seen before in history. It has four legs, scales as black as the night, and eyes that shine purple like Valyria descendants."
Jon looks at him in shock before growling in anger. However, his anger disappears when he remembers something.
"Wait. You said they have Dragons. Plural."
"Yes, my lord. There are four dragons in Solaris Kingdom. Three of them are owned by Princess Daenerys Targaryen. They are already grown to the size of a pony, and they can release a fire from their mouth that can melt iron armor. Princess Daenerys shows her dragons around at the festival, and the people cheer for her because it symbolizes their kingdom."
Solaris Kingdom's symbol is a golden dragon roaring with a sun symbol above it. That makes dragons their sacred animals, and when Dany shows them the dragon, many people want to touch it to get the blessing of dragons.
"This is a disaster! How can we just know about this information and let those dragons grow to the size of a pony?!"
That answer comes from the work of the Faceless Men, who forbid any information that Viserys does not want to share. Varys doesn't know that all of his so-called little birds are already gone. They either get killed or healed and now work for Viserys.
Viserys decides to let them know about it because he knows that sooner or later, people will learn about the dragon's existence. Alduin and the Trio will become too big to go unnoticed, and he also wants to build a house for them.
Letting the news out will allow him to begin the project right away.
"We need to prevent them from growing up! Can your little birds kill them? Poison them before they enter adulthood."
Jon's reaction is understandable because of the history of Westeros. There is a reason why it is called Seven Kingdoms. There are seven kingdoms in Westeros, and Targaryen lands on their shores, bringing dragons with them.
With dragons, no army can stand a chance against them. Even with the advancement of the war engine, Jon still doubts they can defeat the Solaris Kingdom when the war happens. The only thing they can do is to make sure all those dragons die before they can reach adulthood.
"Sadly, my little birds cannot reach the palace, my lord. They have very tight security. We need to hire professional assassins to poison the dragons."
"Then we will hire the Faceless Men."
"Ah, I suggest you don't do that. They only give their 'gifts' to human beings and will not accept any request to kill any kind of animal, even dragons."
"Then what do you suggest, Varys?"
"I suggest hiring the Sorrowful Men. They are known for their poison, and they are as infamous as the Faceless Men."
Varys agrees with this plan because he also agrees to kick the Golden Dragon away from the game so the Black Dragon can take over the throne. If Viserys has dragons, the entire game has changed, and it no longer tilts in his faction's favor.
No matter how many elephants they have in their army, it is just a meal to the dragons.
"Do you have any contact with their guild?"
"It's been a while since I contacted them, but I do have some contact information in Qarth. However, it needs to be delivered directly as the bird cannot go that far."
"Go. I will tell Stannis to prepare ships and guards for you."
"Of course, my lord."
As Varys leaves the room, he does not see a shadow outside the window listening to their conversation. With Jon alone, the shadow leaves silently to report back to their master.
