I Choose In The One Piece Class, Do I Have A Choice?

Chapter 288: The Hyuga Family Is Back?

Konoha Village

The once-vibrant Konoha Village now lay under Orochimaru's control, his forces firmly stationed within its borders. The Snake Sannin no longer bothered with subtlety—his newfound allies from the world of One Piece granted him unparalleled confidence.

For Orochimaru, the days of hiding in the shadows were over.

Kaido, towering and menacing even in his resurrected form, glared at Orochimaru. "Orochimaru, your games are over. It's time we find Finn and settle the score."

Despite his fury, Kaido was bound. As a resurrected being brought back by Impure World Reincarnation, his will—though strong—was tethered to Orochimaru's whims. Similarly, Charlotte Linlin, her impatience barely contained, added, "Enough experiments. Take us to him already!"

Orochimaru chuckled, his serpentine voice smooth and calculated. "My dear Kaido, Linlin, I understand your rage, but precision matters. Rushing in without understanding Finn's strength would be reckless. Let me perfect my research first. It will only serve to aid your revenge."

Kaido's fists clenched, his wrath palpable. "We don't need your excuses, little snake. We're immortal now! Finn's strength doesn't matter—we'll wear him down!"

"Precisely," Linlin snapped, her tone sharp as steel. "Just point us in his direction, and stay out of the way."

Still smiling, Orochimaru shook his head. "While you may be immortal, I am not. Should I fall, your existence as my creations may be jeopardized. Do you really wish to take that risk?"

The two pirate behemoths exchanged a glance. Unfamiliar with the intricacies of Orochimaru's jutsu, they grudgingly backed down, but their frustration simmered.

"Patience," Orochimaru whispered, his golden eyes gleaming with curiosity. "Finn is a formidable foe. We must uncover the full extent of his abilities. After all, he defeated both of you—powerhouses in your own right. What does that tell us about him?"

Kaido growled. "It tells us he's lucky. And his luck is about to run out."

Before the tension could escalate further, a subordinate from Otogakure burst into the chamber, bowing low. "Lord Orochimaru! Konoha Village has... returned."

Orochimaru's smile faltered, replaced by a bloodthirsty gleam. "Returned? How many? Have they rallied their forces already?"

The ninja shook his head. "No, my lord. Only the Hyuga clan. A few thousand of them, but no other families appear to be involved."

"Only the Hyuga clan?" Orochimaru mused, intrigued. "What could they possibly hope to achieve alone? They must have a hidden ace."

Linlin sneered. "A thousand Hyuga? Barely worth the effort. Let's crush them and move on."

Orochimaru raised a hand to silence her. "Something doesn't add up. Let's investigate."

The trio moved swiftly toward the village outskirts, their followers trailing behind. Orochimaru, Kaido, and Linlin arrived just as chaos erupted. A lone figure wielding a samurai sword carved through the battlefield with unrelenting precision. Her blade emitted a radiant energy, each swing unleashing devastating waves of force.

Ahead, Orochimaru noticed Kidoumaru's broken body, motionless on the ground.

"Damn it!" Orochimaru hissed, rage flaring. His eyes locked on the swordswoman, her every movement a deadly blend of grace and power.

The air thickened as she turned toward them, her voice steady and commanding. "This village may have fallen, but its spirit endures. Your tyranny ends here."

With a single, powerful strike, the swordswoman unleashed a surge of sword energy that split the ground, sending a shockwave roaring toward Orochimaru and his allies.
