Hunted by Characters I Drew!!

Chapter 373: Chapter 374-375: Fan?

"Ah! It's Utaha!"

"It's really Utaha! But wait... is this Utaha from our world, or a descendant of hers?"

At this moment, some onlookers stared at Utaha in curiosity, unable to resist asking questions.

"Utaha is from this world; I can vouch for it. We're from the same school," someone chimed in.

"Hold on, look at the person standing next to Utaha. Isn't that Setsuna from the world of 'Re:Creators'?"

"Yes! And there's Altair too! It's really Altair!"

"Huh? Who's that man over there? Why's he just standing there?"

"Seriously? You're ogling men at a time like this?"

"Utaha, I want a copy of 'Love Metronome'!"

"Make that two for me!"

"Utaha-sensei, I'm your biggest fan!"

"Altair! Altair! Can I have your autograph?"

The chaotic scene made Setsuna visibly nervous. She was just an ordinary girl despite her minor fame in the 'Re:Creators' world. This was an overwhelming situation for her.

Sensing Setsuna's unease, Altair stepped forward decisively.

'Whoosh!'

Suddenly, swords materialized in midair, freezing the crowd in stunned silence.

This!!! What is Altair planning?!

Even Alexander was taken aback, staring at Altair. Was she about to do something extreme?

But Altair simply looked at the crowd and uttered two words:

"Form a line."

'Swish!'

In the next instant, everyone obediently began lining up. Witnessing the newly ordered scene, Alexander couldn't help but give Altair a thumbs up.

"As expected of Altair," he thought. "Her decisive approach really gets results."

"Alexander, come help us! We're swamped here!" Utaha called out urgently. She was busy signing books, while Setsuna handled the distribution. The two were clearly overwhelmed.

Alexander sighed but quickly stepped in to assist. "What choice do I have?" he muttered. "Even if it's tiring, how can I not help my girlfriends?"

Meanwhile, on the other side of the event, Eriri was fuming. She wanted to help too, but…

Watching Alexander seamlessly working alongside Utaha, the ever-prideful Eriri couldn't bring herself to admit she wanted to join in.

Standing beside Eriri were her parents: Mr. Spencer, her blond-haired father, and Sayuri Sawamura, her elegant, black-haired mother.

Mr. Spencer and Sayuri were well-practiced in helping sell Eriri's works at comic events. Sayuri, a true otaku and a "fujoshi" at heart, was clearly where Eriri got her passion for art and doujinshi. Like mother, like daughter.

At that moment, noticing her daughter's frustration, Sayuri gave Eriri a gentle, knowing smile.

"If you love something, don't let it go. Love is like that—if you don't hold it tightly, it might slip away in the next moment."

"Mom! What are you rambling about? Love? Since when did I say I wanted to move on from anything?"

Eriri's face flushed red as she turned her head away. She would never admit that she had feelings for Alexander. Although... she did kind of want to move on from the past now.

"Ugh, why doesn't that idiot Alexander take the hint and come invite me himself? Making the girl take the initiative? How shameless!" she fumed internally.

"I'm Eriri Spencer Sawamura! Not some clueless golden retriever! There's no way I'll just go along casually!"

Watching Eriri's sulky reaction, Mr. Spencer chuckled. "Much as I hate to admit it, Alexander really is exceptional. I heard the Fujiwara family is preparing to send their daughter his way. If you don't make a move now, you might find yourself bumped down the list."

"What?!" Eriri froze, momentarily speechless. Finally, she huffed in frustration and snapped at her parents. "Listen, the only reason I was helping out Utaha earlier was just... for convenience! It had nothing to do with Alexander, so stop overthinking!"

"Sure, sure, we believe you," Sayuri teased, patting Eriri's head affectionately. She then watched her daughter stomp off, bouncing with determination as she made her way toward Alexander.

Meanwhile, as he watched Eriri leave, Mr. Spencer let out a heavy sigh. "I really don't like the idea of my daughter sharing a man with someone else."

"And what choice do you have?" Sayuri replied with a pointed look. "The world has changed... Besides, if she's willing, how could you even object?"

Sayuri's expression softened as her gaze turned forward. She seemed to be lost in thought before speaking again, her tone almost wistful.

"Say... If I, as Eriri's mother, and his future mother-in-law, went to meet Alexander, do you think he'd give me an autograph?"

Mr. Spencer was taken aback. "What do you mean 'future mother-in-law'?! Since when has that been decided?!"

But then a memory struck him like lightning. His wife, Sayuri, was a devoted Alexander fan. Could it be... was that why she had been so supportive of Eriri?

It suddenly all made sense. Mr. Spencer sighed deeply, lamenting his situation. "I can't believe this... My wife is really putting everything on the line for her star-chasing."

Sayuri, however, seemed unbothered, her eyes sparkling as she looked ahead.

"Good grief," Mr. Spencer muttered. "I can't even tell if this is a blessing or a disaster."

Meanwhile, Alexander and the others were so busy signing autographs they didn't notice the figure that had quietly entered the comic exhibition center...
