Chapter 334: Who said we’re unprotected?
Blake felt a strange, blue glow suddenly pulsing from within his chest. He looked around, realizing that everything surrounding him was being drawn into this mysterious light.
"Ah... I obviously want to enjoy the experience for myself!"
While Blake was silently moaning.
As he was trying to process what was happening, his attention was pulled back to two unexpected presences—Cassandra and Fleur.
"Aah!"
Screams sounded. The two girls were drawn by the blue light. Blake spread his arms, feeling a mix of disbelief and resignation.
"How did they find me here?" he muttered to himself.
After all, he had gone through a lot of effort to set up hidden magic to cloak his location. Yet, here they were, appearing just as he was about to teleport into a secluded realm.
If he had known earlier that they were there, he could have chosen a different location for his entry. But now, with the two of them bound by the blue light, they were magically linked to the portal and had no choice but to come along for the journey.
Blake sighed, mumbling under his breath, "I just wanted to explore this place alone…"
The next thing he knew, Cassandra and Fleur were being yanked toward him by the blue light, crashing into his chest. Blake winced as he felt the impact, suddenly holding both girls in his arms.
Fleur, noticing where she had landed, immediately tried to push away, but her body remained bound to Blake by the light, like metal stuck to a magnet.
"Hey! What did you do?" she demanded, glaring at him.

[Ding! You have been rewarded a golden treasure chest!]
Blake could only shrug, feeling as confused as she was. But before he could answer, the faint blue light grew stronger, filling the space around them until they could see nothing else.
When Blake opened his eyes, he was greeted by an unfamiliar sight—a sky painted in an eerie shade of purple. He slowly sat up, realizing that Cassandra and Fleur were still in his arms.
As much as he enjoyed the moment, he knew it was time to get up and assess the situation. Gently, he shifted, causing the girls to stir.
"Where…where are we?" Fleur whispered, her eyes wide as she took in the landscape.
This wasn't the place they'd been a moment ago. Everything was dark and foreboding, with the air filled with the sharp scent of sulfur. Blake climbed to his feet, helping Cassandra and Fleur up.
Around them, the ground seemed scorched, and the air was thick with heat. Fleur, looking pale, clutched her bracelet tightly, attempting a location spell. She frowned when it didn't work.
"We're…cut off," she realized with a sense of horror. "Blake, what did you do?"
Blake held up his hands defensively. "I don't know where we are, either. But there's one thing I'm sure of. That is, we are no longer in the original world.
I only wanted an adventure. I found a fragment that promised a unique world, so I hid in the bridge hole to open the portal. How was I supposed to know you'd come in after me?"
Fleur and Cassandra exchanged looks, each unsure how to respond. Cassandra, though usually reserved, couldn't stay silent any longer. "Blake, you knew this was dangerous, right? This place is beyond our understanding, and yet you still thought it was a good idea to go alone?"
Blake shrugged. "Well…is it really an adventure if there's no risk?"
Fleur stared at him, her frustration mounting. "So how do we get out?"
Blake pointed toward the center of the desolate area. "There," he said, gesturing to a swirling mass of dark energy. "The fragment I saw had similar energy. If there's a way out, I'd bet it's over there."
"You can't be serious," Fleur replied, her voice breaking slightly. She glanced over at Cassandra, who seemed just as unsettled. Fleur clenched her fists, feeling the urge to cry.
"I can't be trapped here forever," she whispered, her voice trembling.
Blake looked at her with a strange calmness. "Forever's a long time. And…actually, it might not be that long. Without food and water, well…our supplies wouldn't last too long."
Fleur turned to him, eyes blazing with anger. "You think this is funny?"
"Not at all," Blake replied, sighing. "But we're here now. The only way out is forward."
After a moment, Fleur seemed to accept that they had no choice. "Fine," she muttered, glancing nervously at the strange landscape.
Just as Blake was about to start moving, he heard Cassandra speak up. "What do we do next?"
"We need to head to the centre," Blake said, leading the way. The terrain felt dangerous, especially for three unarmed students, but he had planned for such obstacles.
"Wait," Fleur interjected. "Maybe we should prepare. There could be creatures here, and we have nothing to protect ourselves."
Blake turned to her with a grin. "Who said we're unprotected?"
Before Fleur could ask, he produced a small crystal ball from his pocket. With a snap of his fingers, the crystal shattered, releasing a brilliant flash of light. From it emerged a massive white tiger. The tiger surveyed its surroundings before nuzzling affectionately into Blake's shoulder. Cassandra gasped, recognizing the creature instantly.
"White?" she whispered, a smile forming on her lips. The white tiger gave a low rumble in response, a fierce but familiar look in its eyes.
Fleur was astonished. "Is…is that a real tiger?"
Blake smirked, tossing several more crystals onto the ground. With a series of magical bursts, a fiery red bear, a spiked chimaera, a horned camel, and several other magical creatures appeared, forming a protective circle around the three of them. Each creature looked to Blake for direction, radiating loyalty and strength.
Fleur's jaw dropped. "These…these are magical beasts. How on earth…"
[Ding! Shocked emotion detected!]
[Ding! Congratulations to the host for getting a golden treasure chest!]
Blake opened his hands, smiled at his pets and said:
"My friends, welcome to a new hunting ground!"
"I declare that the hunt...begins!".
