After the greeting, Samuel respectfully bid farewell to these two bigwigs, and under everyone's attention, he walked towards Delphina and her group.

"Hey, I apologise for being late. The Paris traffic is brutal." He said with a apologetic expression. He was still dragging Sharon behind him.

" Was it all traffic? You never said anything about picking up Sharon. Are you sure you were not late because of her?" Delphina raised her eyebrows staring at two of them who looked like couples. Sharon had a great chemistry with him, just standing alongside him they matched perfectly which made her jealous.

" What? Do I look like someone who would go behind your back to hit on your friends?" He was shocked. Couldn't they just be friends? Why did everyone assume they were a couple?

" You are exactly the person who would do something like this beside I had never seen Sharon dress so provocatively. Who is she trying to impress?"

" Alright, maybe I did dress up for him. So what? He is a handsome man, I wanted to ahow my appreciation as his date." Sharon hugged Samuel from side giving him full feel of her bountiful breats as they pressed around his arms.

His body jolted as he looked at Sharon's mischievous smile. The cool and elegant lady was no where to be seen, it was replaced by a playful smile like she was looking at her next prey.

" That's enough. She is just joking." He chuckled trying to get himself free but it only made things worse. If he was forceful l, he might knock over her low cut dress publically exposing Sharon which would definitely land him a death sentence!

" Sharon, stop it. We will talk about it later." Delphina's death glare made Sharon back down still she gave both a look before seperating.

Samuel thought it was over only to be hugged by Delphina. She pressed her slender body against him while wrapping her arms around his neck.

The blonde beauty definitely lacked some curves but she was a beauty regardless of it. He reciprocated her hug before gently pushing her away. Too many people were watching them he didn't want to give them ammunition.

Beside he could clearly hear rich young men's heart breaking as he was holding two of the most beautiful girl at the party.

" Enough. I think you two are scheming against me from the start. I might really suffer if these people misunderstood our relationship." He whispered to them which only made them laugh. It didn't make the situation better seeing them enjoy his company.

He maintained some distance and began introducing himself to Delphina's faction. Thry were shocked to see them in their corner and knowing that the mysterious backer that they were waiting for was him.

Still, knowing his identity gave them much more reassurance than of it was some faceless corporation. Sharon was also well received, these people already knew about their friendship so there were no surprises.

" Old friend, you never said anything about your connection with them. They looked quite close but are you sure because apparently he has a reputation with the ladies." Duke spoke softly looking at the trio hugging and enjoying each other's company.

He had to say he was a little envious because his own children were never rose to the level to have such connections, they would just spend his money on useless things moping around in their small circle of friends who were only there to satisfy each other's vanity.

" Well, I never knew they knew each other. As for the issue of his character, we were the same when we were young. Beside, society might have forgotten it but those that could do it, live such a life. I think what comes first is their happiness. If someone objects it, he has to be powerful enough to squash them." Bernard showed some traces of relief.

Everyone knew about Samuel's reputation as a playboy but no one saw anything wrong with it. He had both looks and money, it was obvious girls from all around the world would throw themselves at him. Stay updated with empire

He also knew his daughter's taste she was not a easy one to please. She would not take shit from anyone so of she is unhappy, she would surely voice out her concern. On the other hand it was mere suspicion, they shouldn't blow their friendship out of proportion.

" Yeah, I remember but we grew up. From business to family, it's hard to get time for ourselves beside my wife would kill me if I step out on her. "

" Not just her but I will too. You know she was my first love too before I met my wife. I can count hundreds of people that would pounce on the opportunity to take your place."

" Hey! Don't talk nonsense! I love my wife if you have eyes-"

" I am joking. You don't have to take me seriously. Beside, I don't think there is anyone in this world that could take her place."

" But you are still young. She is gone for sometime now, you can't keep living like this. Do you want me to introduce you to some eligible ladies?" Duke said with a smirk.

Two old friends kept talking about such useless things. People would often wonder what these powerful men talked about but if they really found out about it, their views about them surely drop several levels!

Meanwhile, Alan had a unsightly expression on his face. It wa more like he was panicking seeing Samuel for the first time in a while. He would often accompany his father to events and the first time he saw Samuel was really a bad one.

Some of young master from his group tried to mess with him during that time. Samuel was calm and collected, he remembered their faces and the snide remarks they passed him which was a fatal mistake.

He only heard what happened next. Each individual who tried to mess with him later begged and apologized to him along with their father. Samuel wasn't one to gove mercy, he ruthlessly started suppressing these people barely giving them a leeway.
