Coupled with the fact he held substantial amount of shares in harware industry, the whole technology sector had his shadow in them.

That's not all, most of the fortune five hundred companies were somehow connected to him and he was also expanding to other industries like fashion and media which would directly contradict the Group's interest.

Now that he was here it wasn't a long guess to think he too was interested in LVHM group. And from the way he was leading lady Sharon, it was evident he wasn't here on a spur of the moment. This was a deliberate plan which would have taken several months to organise.

Sharon was Delphina's best friend, some even went as far as to say they had a 'special' connection. Since they spend so much time together, there seemed to be some truth to that rumour. If Sharon was with him, that meant Samule should be their point of contact.

Bernard stopped his speech and walked toward them with a smile on his face. He was connecting the pieces of the puzzle finally understanding what his daughter's ultimate move was.

His eyes flashes brightly as he glanced at his daughter who was smiling with a smug grim on her face. It was really a surprise. Maybe old man was really getting old or the opponent was too powerful either way he never saw it coming.

He had met Samuel few times during George's party, Armani had similar tradition. As the main model for asia pacific region, Samuel had attended few events during his film breaks. In term of seniority, Bernard could be considered as Samuel's predecessor in the business world.

" Mr Samuel, I never knew that you were in our guest list. If I knew, we could have given you some proper welcome." Bernard stepped foward and shook Samuel's hand.

He could see the young man was different. His eyes never deviated to show any fear but at the same time he was humble because he extended his hand first. There was no aura of arrogance usually seen inan of his calibre.

If not for his handsome face and fancy suit, Bernard might mistake him for a content old man who hid his feelings like a monk!

It safe to say his wealth didn't change him one bit which was impressive. Bernard really liked him a lot but he would never show it on his face keeping his famous business smile which everyone was familiar with.

" Thank you, Mr. Bernard. I am flattered that you remember me. I don't want to cause too much inconvenience on such a important day." He said respectfully with a tinge of generosity.

" Miss Sharon, I am glad you can make it too. I never knew you two were acquainted."

" Thank you for the invite. It's my pleasure to be here beside I only met him when he was visiting my cafe." She said with a smile.

" So that's how it is." Bernard thought connectes the dots. Sharon's upscale cafe was famous among nobility and other rich customers.

She was a french noble and very capable in making connections. Her cafe was a hub for like minded people to connect. Bernard did learn about her daughter's constant visit to the cafe but he never thought they were meeting at that place coming up a plan for this evening.

Few more people xame in and surrounded them offering their own greetings. Samuel talked with them effortlessly putting on his best performance. He was quite versed in these political talks after years of experience of following in her parents footsteps.

" Good,good. I still miss those days. You father and mother stayed here for few months when they were young. They were exceptional individuals." The Grand Duke added with a smile.

He was old but still remembered the goold old days especially the demoness who razed havoc throughout Europe establishing connection for the Morgan family. It was quite well known fact how his father tried to woo her during those times fighting social norms to win her heart.

" But what you here?" He asked again.

" I am just here to support a friend. Miss Delphina is a good friend of mine so I am here for her big day along with Miss Sharon." He only gave vague answers but his intentions were clear.

It seemed the little princess had good relationship with him which meant she had him in her corner which could mean disaster for her brother, Alan. Everyone knew he would never bet on losing side. If he was here, it meant the party would be a historic event with many twist and turns!

" Yes, tonight is really a big day. It's not everyday we get to see you in public eye." The Duke chuckled trying to downplay the situation. He could tell his friend Bernard was staring intensely at the young man trying to figure his next move.
