Hogwarts: Please Graduate Soon

Chapter 128: Hogwarts, Please Graduate Soon, Ch 68.3

After getting acquainted, Penelope took Marietta away, leaving space for Wei En and Qiu.

"What did Madam Pomfrey say?" Noticing the frown on the girl's face due to pain, Wei En felt reluctant to say anything harsh.

Qiu replied in a very downcast manner, "I can't participate in next month's Quidditch match."

"Do you really want to play?" Wei En asked.

"What good does it do to want it?" Qiu replied with a bitter smile. "Things are like this now; I just need to heal well and hope I don't have any problems by March."

"Alright, I'll help you this time." Wei En made up her mind and said earnestly, "You must be more careful from now on; if you get injured again, I won't help."

Qiu was somewhat confused when suddenly a flash of fire appeared in the air; Fawkes was summoned.

 "BEK BEK!"

"Fawkes, use the Sacred Fire," Wei En commanded.

Upon hearing the command, white flames manifested around Fawkes' body, with one cluster flying out and landing on the incapacitated Qiu. The expected burning sensation did not occur; her hospital gown wasn't ignited. Instead, the flames entered the girl's body and began to heal her.

The fractured ribs and wrist were recovering at a remarkable speed. In less than a minute, Qiu couldn't feel any pain at all. She was astonished as she lifted her arm and sat up straight, even feeling her body filled with energy.

 "I, am I healed?"

"What's all this noise? Patients need peace!" Madam Pomfrey came over after hearing the commotion from the adjacent office.

Seeing Qiu sitting up made her even angrier: "Lie down quickly; your bones need two days to heal completely."

"No, Madam," Qiu hurriedly waved her hand. "I feel like I'm fine now."

"How is that possible, I…" Madam Pomfrey wanted to say something, but upon seeing Fawkes above and Qiu's hand moving freely, her confidence wavered.

 "Did you do this, Lawrence?"

There's only one young wizard who raises a phoenix, and Madam Pomfrey naturally recognized Wei En.

The boy humbly replied, "It's Fawkes's work; I had nothing to do with it."

Fawkes proudly lifted his head, showing off. Though still young and unable to perform true resurrection, small injuries like fractures were definitely not a problem for him.

Madam Pomfrey skeptically examined Qiu, working for a while with an expression of disbelief.

"You're actually healed… Does the phoenix have such strong healing abilities?"

She wasn't unfamiliar with Dumbledore's Fawkes saving people, but the effects weren't this significant. Based on her examination, Qiu was completely fine, as if she had never been injured at all.

"Madam, can I be discharged?" Qiu asked hopefully.

"Not yet." Casting a suspicious glance at Fawkes, Madam Pomfrey firmly refused.

"You need to stay for one more night; I won't let you go until I'm sure there's nothing wrong."

"But the Quidditch match…" Staying one night wasn't a big deal, but Qiu was more concerned about whether she could participate in the game next month.
