Hogwarts: Please Graduate Soon

Chapter 127: Hogwarts, Please Graduate Soon, Ch 68.2

"Alright, everyone clear out! The patient needs to rest properly!" Madam Pomfrey began to shoo people away, allowing only two young witches to stay with Qiū. However, they couldn't stay for too long and had to leave in half an hour.

Qiū's eyes were red, clearly having just cried—not because of her injury, but because she wouldn't be able to participate in the upcoming matches. She had prepared for so long, training hard every day, only to miss the games. The thought was almost unbearable.

Marietta comforted her, "Qiū, it's just one match that you're missing. We'll have other opportunities."

Hogwarts' Quidditch matches only had two scheduled in November, with the next matches in March and June. The team with the highest total score at the end would win the championship for the academic year.

Marietta's attempts to console Qiū didn't have much effect. Qiū understood that every match was crucial. If they lost the first match by a large margin, catching up in the later ones would be exceedingly difficult.

The girl fell silent, and Marietta didn't know what else to say, merely sitting in quiet companionship. Just then, a figure stealthily entered the room.

Seeing him, the others were startled, and even the still-sorrowful Qiū finally spoke. "Wayne, what are you doing here?"

"I heard about your injury and came to check on you," Wayne replied, nodding to Marietta and the other blonde girl as he moved a chair closer to sit down.

"How did you get in?" Marietta couldn't help but ask, "Did Madam Pomfrey not stop you?"

"I used the Disillusionment Charm; Madam Pomfrey didn't see me," Wayne explained. Seeing the pale appearance of the girl, he couldn't help but chastise her:

"It's just training; why are you working so hard?"

"I…" Qiu felt a bit wronged but knew it was her own issue. She had caught a cold recently, and her spirit and stamina were not great. In the past, she would have easily accomplished the actions that led to her injury.

"It seems we're a bit superfluous here," the blonde girl remarked with a teasing smile, noticing the state of the two. Marietta chimed in, "Exactly! Just now, Qiu didn't even want to talk to us, but as soon as you arrived, Wei En, she started to speak."

The girl blushed and turned away. Wei En, undeterred by their teasing, asked, "How should I address you?"

"Penelope Clearwater; just call me Penelope." The blonde girl graciously extended her hand and shook Wei En's.

"You don't need to introduce yourself; I've heard of you, Wei En Lawrence, the genius of Hufflepuff and the owner of Fawkes. Professor McGonagall even lamented at the Transformations Club that you didn't accept her invitation."

"Oh, and that Celia shop made me spend quite a lot of money."

Penelope? Wei En recognized her as a highly regarded Ravenclaw student, who was likely to become the year's prefect. She had delicate features and beautiful blonde hair. Joining Professor McGonagall's club showed she wasn't lacking in magical talent. She was a beauty with both talent and looks.
