Having ‘Fun’ in this Room

Chapter 3: Chapter 03 — Welcome to Mondstadt

"Hm, do I really have to stay like this for ten minutes?" Perjaka asked Lisa, a hint of frustration in his voice.

"Well… I feel a bit sorry about this. If we manage to get out of this room, I think I can finally trust you," Lisa responded, her tone softening.

"Oh, well. Since we know that this room might be a manifestation of my power, it technically means I kidnapped you. I'm really sorry about that, but this position is quite uncomfortable for me. Lisa, your knee is really hurting me... You know... I promise I won't fight or resist at all. Can we change positions, please?" Perjaka added, showing no resistance.

Some people might enjoy being in this position with Lisa, but it was clear that Perjaka didn't like pain at all.

"Okay, fine," Lisa agreed. She lowered her knee and allowed Perjaka to sit up, though she still held onto his hands as the countdown continued.

"Hah… this is nice. Geez, if this were in my world, I would complain to the police," Perjaka commented, unable to resist. Lisa's face showed clear confusion; she had no idea what the police were.

Perjaka noticed her puzzled expression and sighed. "Right, you probably don't know about the police. They are officers who enforce the law and keep the peace in my world,"

"Is that so? I'll send my complaint to the knights then," Perjaka said with a smirk, trying to lighten the mood.

Lisa could only sigh in response. "Hah... I wonder what you'd say to them?" she replied, a hint of exasperation in her voice.

"I mean, what I'm doing is just self-defense," Lisa continued, her tone firm yet slightly apologetic. "I have to be cautious, given the circumstances."

"Well, if that's the case, I don't think I owe you any favors. But maybe you can help me make sure this doesn't happen again?" Perjaka asked, his tone light and hopeful, trying to ease the tension.

Lisa raised her eyebrows, a small smile playing on her lips. "Well, I suppose I can help you. It would be dangerous if this happened to anyone else in Mondstadt, after all."

"That's great. Thank you, Lisa," Perjaka said appreciatively, his tone sincere.

"Well, that thank you might be a bit premature. If we still can't get out of this room, you might be in for a bit of trouble," Lisa said with a smile. Perjaka felt a powerful energy in her words, especially in the last part. Despite her gentle demeanor, there was an undeniable strength and determination behind her eyes.

"Ahaha, that's true. But I'll keep saying it... I've been truthful and sincere with you from the very beginning," Perjaka replied, his voice steady. As the two of them waited for the ten minutes to pass, the atmosphere between them began to soften.

Well, Perjaka only told about the last time, he could remember before in this place was he playing with his smartphone in the bed something that usual he did before sleeping. He confident he might be sleep, before woke up in this room.

Lisa responded that she had experienced something similar. She had been trying to sleep, reading a book for a bit before finally drifting off and waking up in this room. A room that might be a manifestation of Perjaka's power. Lisa also mentioned that she had never encountered this kind of power in Teyvat.

The two of them conversed while holding hands. The grip was more like that of a captive rather than anything romantic. They talked without facing each other, but the conversation helped to diminish the tension between them. Eventually, the ten minutes passed without them realizing it.

A notification sound, "Ping," caught Perjaka and Lisa's attention. They both turned their gaze toward the iPad and read the message displayed on the screen:

[Thank you. The requirement has been achieved. Claim your gift, and we await your next visit.]

Lisa and Perjaka exchanged glances, a mixture of relief and curiosity in their eyes.

"Wait, so we get a gift? That sounds nice," Perjaka commented, he still remember get a 'warm' reception from Lisa after all. If he received something to compensate, he would be extremely happy.

On the other side, Lisa finally released Perjaka's hand and moved toward the door. As if by magic, the door opened effortlessly, and a bright light flooded out, reminiscent of when Perjaka entered the game of Genshin Impact. Before they knew it, they had stepped out of the mysterious room.

Perjaka could feel the softness as his consciousness began to return. Along with the softness, he also sensed warmth and a pleasant fragrance that somehow felt a bit alluring. His hand brushed against something soft, reminiscent of a delicious bun. Gradually, he realized what was truly happening, especially when he heard Lisa's voice.

"Ara... It looks like you're having fun."

To be honest, Perjaka felt scared to open his eyes, but at the same time, he knew that if he remained in this position, he would likely get electrocuted by Lisa. As someone who felt as weak as he did, he didn't want to find himself in such a precarious situation. So, he immediately opened his eyes and discovered that he was on top of Lisa. She was still in her pajamas, a stark contrast to her appearance in the mysterious room. Her hair was down, and she wasn't wearing a hat, allowing Perjaka to see her natural beauty. It was truly stunning...

"Sorry about this," Perjaka said hurriedly as he scrambled to get up from Lisa. Only then did he realize he had been lying on top of her—likely in her bed. He glanced around, taking in the room, which was unmistakably hers.

The space exuded a cozy warmth, its dim ambiance enhanced by the soft glow of candles scattered throughout. A plush, oversized armchair sat invitingly near the window, seemingly made for curling up with a good book. Beyond the glass, the skyline of Mondstadt stretched out, framed by majestic, distant mountains.

Books of all shapes and sizes lined the walls on meticulously arranged shelves. At the room's center stood a large, ornate wooden desk, cluttered with various trinkets, papers, and half-finished projects.

"This is..." Perjaka trailed off, at a loss for words.

Lisa, brushing herself off, gave a small, amused smile. "Well, I'm not sure how you ended up here. However, it seems that everything that happened was real— including that strange power of yours. And it seems you might also be truly honest and sincere with me. I suppose... welcome to Mondstadt."
