Chapter 12: CH 11
I watched, power suppressed, the chaos unfolding. Frieza's army swarmed, the Z Fighters cutting through, Dad and Raditz brawling with the Ginyu Force. Frieza lounged, smug, blind to my edge. Time to move. I focused, fingers to my forehead, and vanished—Instant Transmission kicking in. A blink, and I was behind him, air shifting as I appeared.
Frieza sensed it, head snapping back, tail whipping up to block. "What—?!" Too slow. My hand glowed, ki blade flaring, and I slashed—two clean cuts, blood spraying as both his arms hit the ground with wet thuds. He screamed, a raw, piercing howl, chair spinning as he dropped, stumps oozing.
Vegeta's jaw fell, eyes wide, voice cracking. "What… what the hell?! Kakarot's son?! How—how does he even stand a chance against Frieza?!"
Frieza's scream cut off, his body trembling, aura exploding. "You little—!" His skin shifted, horns lengthening, frame bulking as he forced his final form—sleek, white, power surging, dwarfing the plains. No buildup, no choice. He glared at me, eyes blazing, stumps twitching. "You'll pay for that, brat! I'll rip you apart!"
I smirked, faint, power still locked. "Try it."
The Z Fighters froze mid-fight, staring. Piccolo's voice cut through. "He did what?! Frieza's already at his peak?"
Krillin blinked, stunned. "Gotex just… took his arms? That's insane!"
Yamcha laughed, shaky. "Holy crap, squirt! You've got some guts!"
Tien nodded, grim. "He forced Frieza's hand. This just got real."
Chiaotzu hovered, awed. "Gotex is so strong…"
Dad ducked Ginyu's punch, grinning. "Whoa, Gotex! You got him mad! Nice one!"
Raditz slammed Recoome down, laughing rough. "Ha! Look at Frieza squirm! Kakarot's kid's a beast!"
Frieza floated up, final form gleaming, voice icy. "Amusing, child. You've sped up your death." His stumps glowed, ki flaring as he adapted, tail lashing.
Vegeta stammered, flabbergasted. "This… this can't be real. Kakarot's spawn—forcing Frieza like that? He's a low-class nobody's son!"
I stood firm, power suppressed at 700,000, hidden deep. "Nobody's dead yet, Vegeta. Watch."
The army swarmed on, weaker now, the Z Fighters pushing back. Piccolo smashed a grunt aside, growling. "Focus! Frieza's next—stay alive!"
Krillin blasted a soldier, panting. "Yeah, but Gotex just lit the fuse! We're in it now!"
Yamcha kicked a grunt flat, grinning. "Let's keep it going! Squirt's got this!"
Tien fired a ki wave, calm. "He's bought us time. Let's use it."
Dad traded blows with Ginyu, laughing. "You're tough, purple guy! Gotta finish this quick now!"
Raditz pinned Recoome, snarling. "Stay down, fool! Frieza's turn's coming!"
Frieza glared, tail slashing the air, power spiking. He didn't charge, still too proud, but his eyes locked on me, burning.
Frieza glared, eyes blazing, tail lashing as he snarled. "You think you've won, brat? I'll crush you with my bare—" He cut off, realizing his stumps, and his aura flared hotter, humiliation seeping in.
I moved, fingers to my forehead, vanishing in a blink—Instant Transmission kicking in. I reappeared in his blind spot, behind and left, where his tail couldn't track fast enough. He sensed it, tail whipping up to block, a desperate shield. Too late. My hand glowed, ki blade flaring, and I slashed—a clean cut, severing his tail with a wet snap. It hit the dirt with a thud, blood spraying, and Frieza's scream tore through the plains, raw and furious.
"No! NO!" he roared, spinning to face me, stumps twitching, face twisted in rage. "A monkey?! A filthy Saiyan monkey doing this to me?! I'm Frieza, lord of the universe! You can't humiliate me like this!" His voice cracked, pride shattering, aura pulsing wild.
Vegeta's eyes widened further, voice shaky. "Kakarot's son… cutting Frieza apart like that? This… this can't be happening!"
I smirked, faint and cold. "You're loud for a guy with no limbs." I'd have loved to drag this out, toy with him, break him slow—watch that smug face crumble. But I hadn't cracked Super Saiyan yet, not in the chamber, not now. Frieza was too dangerous to play with, even crippled. Time to end it.
He lunged, tail stump flailing, ki flaring in a desperate blast from his mouth. I sidestepped, the beam searing past, gouging the earth. "You talk too much," I said, voice flat, raising my hand. Energy gathered, sharp and green, Piccolo's trick honed in the chamber—Special Beam Cannon. "Die."
The beam lanced out, a piercing spiral, straight through his chest. A wet crunch, blood exploding as it tore clean through, Frieza's eyes bulging, mouth gaping in a silent scream. His body shuddered, aura fading, then dropped, crashing to the plains in a heap, dead before he hit the dirt. Silence fell, heavy and thick.
Vegeta stared, voice breaking. "Dead… Frieza's dead? By Kakarot's brat?! How… how is this possible?!"
Piccolo paused mid-fight, a grunt dangling from his fist, smirking. "Well, damn. Kid just ended Frieza. Didn't see that coming so fast."
Krillin blinked, stunned, a soldier collapsing at his feet. "Gotex took him out? Just like that? Holy crap!"
Yamcha laughed, shaky, kicking a grunt aside. "That's my squirt! Cut him up and finished him! Unreal!"
Tien nodded, calm, blasting a straggler. "Forced his final form and killed him in seconds. That's not just strength—that's guts."
Chiaotzu hovered, awed. "Gotex… he's amazing…"
Dad ducked Ginyu's swing, grinning wide. "Whoa, Gotex! You got him good! Way to go, kid!"
Raditz slammed Recoome down, laughing rough. "Ha! Frieza's gone! Kakarot's spawn did it—look at that!"
The Ginyu Force faltered, staring at Frieza's corpse. Ginyu froze, fist mid-air. "Lord Frieza… dead? No way!"
Recoome staggered up, roaring. "What?! That kid took him out?!"
Burter blinked, slowing. "Fastest in the universe, and I didn't even see that!"
Jeice gaped, red hair limp. "Bloody hell, he's down! What do we do now?"
Guldo, crumpled from Dad's hit, whimpered. "We're… we're finished…"
The army wavered, grunts hesitating as word spread—Frieza was dead. Piccolo grabbed a soldier by the throat, slamming him down. "They're breaking. Finish this quick—focus on the big ones now."
Krillin blasted a grunt, nodding. "Yeah, no Frieza, no backbone! Let's clean up!"
Yamcha grinned, punching through a soldier. "This is our shot! They're falling apart without him!"
Tien fired a ki wave, clearing a patch. "Stay sharp. Those five are still dangerous, even rattled."
Dad traded blows with Ginyu, laughing. "Your boss is gone, horn-head! Still wanna fight?" Ginyu snarled, ki flaring, landing a kick that sent Dad skidding, but he popped back up, grinning.
Raditz pinned Recoome, fist cracking his jaw again. "Frieza's dead, you oaf! Give up!" Recoome roared, blasting a ki wave, but Raditz dodged, slamming him back down.
I stood over Frieza's body, power still suppressed, locked at 700,000. No arms, no tail, no life—done in two moves. Vegeta's eyes burned into me, stunned, flabbergasted, pride shredded. I'd have dragged it out, savored it, but Super Saiyan wasn't mine yet. Frieza was too big a risk, even maimed. The Special Beam Cannon was clean, final.
Vegeta stammered, voice low. "Kakarot's son… stronger than me… stronger than Frieza? This… this changes everything."
The plains smoked, army crumbling, Ginyu Force faltering. The Z Fighters pressed on, cutting through the last grunts. Dad and Raditz hammered Ginyu's crew, their morale cracking. Frieza's corpse lay still, a broken tyrant, humiliated by a "monkey" 'til the end. I'd ended it fast, no games. He'd talked too much.
