Fate of the Strongest

Chapter 13: Clash of Titans

The air between Gojo and the curse leader was electric, heavy with power and anticipation. The students stood frozen, caught between awe and fear. None of them had seen their teacher so focused, so serious.

The leader of the curses pulled back their hood, revealing a humanoid form with eyes that glowed like embers. Their smile was cruel, their presence suffocating.

"I've been waiting for this moment," the leader said, their voice calm but filled with malice. "The so-called strongest sorcerer, reduced to just another opponent."

Gojo tilted his head, a smirk playing on his lips. "You've got confidence. I like that. But you've made one mistake."

"And what's that?"

Gojo's eyes gleamed beneath his blindfold. "You think you stand a chance."

The leader moved first, their cursed energy rippling through the air in a shockwave. The ground beneath them cracked, and the students were forced to shield their eyes as debris flew everywhere.

Gojo stood motionless, the attack stopping inches from his Infinity. He raised a hand lazily, sending out a precise blast of cursed energy. The leader dodged effortlessly, their speed matching his own.

The battlefield transformed into chaos as the two exchanged blows. Gojo's attacks were devastatingly powerful, but the leader's movements were calculated, their counters precise.

Megumi, Maki, Yuta, and Panda watched the fight from a safe distance, their expressions a mix of awe and dread.

"I've never seen Gojo-sensei go all out before," Yuta said, gripping his katana tightly.

"He's not going all out yet," Megumi replied, his voice tense. "This is just the beginning."

Maki narrowed her eyes. "That curse… they're on a completely different level. Even Gojo might—"

"No," Panda interrupted. "Gojo-sensei will win. He has to."

The battle intensified as Gojo and the leader began using domain expansions. Gojo activated Unlimited Void, his signature technique, enveloping the battlefield in an infinite space filled with overwhelming information.

The leader, however, countered with a domain of their own—a twisted realm of shadows and mirrors that reflected attacks back at their source. The two domains clashed, creating a ripple effect that shook the entire campus.

"Impressive," the leader said, their tone mocking. "But you're not the only one who can manipulate reality."

Gojo's grin widened. "Then let's see whose reality wins."

The leader began to shift tactics, summoning powerful cursed spirits to aid them in the fight. Massive creatures emerged from the shadows, their grotesque forms radiating malevolence.

Gojo glanced at the students, his expression serious. "Handle the cursed spirits. Leave the leader to me."

The students hesitated for a moment before nodding. They split off to engage the summoned creatures, their training and teamwork put to the ultimate test.

Megumi summoned his Chimera Shadow Garden, trapping several cursed spirits within the dark, shadowy domain. His divine dogs and Nue fought alongside him, their attacks coordinated and relentless.

Maki wielded her cursed tools with precision, cutting down the smaller spirits while supporting Megumi.

Yuta unleashed Rika's full power, her monstrous form overwhelming the larger curses with brute force. Panda fought alongside him, their combined strength creating an impenetrable wall of defense.

"Toge, where are you?" Yuta shouted, scanning the battlefield.

Toge's voice crackled through the communicator. "Salmon!" A massive cursed spirit suddenly crumbled to the ground, silenced by his command.

Back in the center of the battlefield, Gojo pushed the leader to their limits. His mastery of the Six Eyes allowed him to predict and counter their every move.

But the leader was no ordinary opponent. They began to tap into a forbidden technique, their cursed energy growing exponentially.

"This power…" Gojo muttered, narrowing his eyes. "You're not just a curse, are you?"

The leader smirked, their form shifting slightly. "I was once a sorcerer, like you. But I transcended those limits long ago."

Gojo's expression darkened. "A sorcerer who became a curse? That explains the arrogance."

The leader laughed. "Arrogance? No, Gojo. It's inevitability. Even you can't stop what's coming."

The leader unleashed their ultimate attack, a massive surge of cursed energy that engulfed the battlefield. The students, caught in the shockwave, struggled to maintain their footing.

Gojo activated Hollow Purple, combining his Red and Blue techniques into a single devastating blast. The two attacks collided, creating an explosion that illuminated the sky like a second sun.

When the dust settled, the leader stood battered but alive, their grin unshaken.

"You're stronger than I thought," they admitted. "But strength alone won't save you."

Gojo adjusted his blindfold, his voice calm. "And your tricks won't save you from me."

The leader retreated into the shadows, their presence fading as quickly as it had arrived. "This isn't over, Gojo. The next time we meet, it will be the end."

Gojo watched them disappear, his body tense but his expression unreadable.

The students regrouped, their exhaustion evident.

"Did we… win?" Panda asked, his voice hoarse.

"For now," Gojo said. "But this was just the opening act. The real battle is still ahead."

The leader returned to their lair, their wounds slowly healing. A group of curses awaited them, their forms bowed in reverence.

"The sorcerers are strong," the leader said. "But their strength will be their downfall. Prepare the next phase. It's time to break them."

The curses roared in agreement, their malevolence filling the air.

The battle had ended, but the echoes of despair lingered. Jujutsu High had survived the night, but the cost was clear. The students were stronger than ever, but so was the enemy.

And as Gojo gazed out into the horizon, he couldn't shake the feeling that the worst was yet to come.
