Chapter 6: Incomplete Stats
Nova stood there stunned and confused as he stared at the screen before his eyes, which showed him many different things, some even in languages he had never seen before other than in other games and movies.
He looked at it before swiping on it to see if it would work, and it did, showing a map of the current nation that he was in. But on that map, he noticed something weird about an area beside the nation one within a fog and what appeared to be a rift in front of it.
He sighed and leaned his head back against the wall, not knowing what to do next, for he was lost, in a body that was not his own, nor a world, with powers he had no idea how to use nor did he know the reason for him being pulled into such a place.
However, based on what he had seen so far, as well as the body's original owner's experiences and memories, one thing he could tell for certain and was that, if he wanted to survive in such a world he would have to fight for it, for here the strong did not mind preying on the weak.
"First thing's first, I have to register and find myself a job, then find out the reasons behind all of this and if there is a way to go back, I will have to get stronger or I will get my ass handed to me, I have to figure out a way to use these abilities,' Nova thought.
"I can help with that."
The voice echoed in Nova's head once again and his eyes narrowed as he glanced down at the screen, where he noticed a logo of some sort appeared, in a crest-like forming, with vibrational energy moving across it, then he realized what it was, due to his past experience as a gamer, though he was still stunned.
"You are a system?" He asked.
"Yes, that I am, I can communicate with you through your panel or just like a normal person, except through telepathy, that way I will not be heard, but for that function to activate, you will need to name me."
"You have the voice of a female so Erna, how does that sound?" He asked.
"It is perfect, nice to meet you, Nova, I am Erna, your guide and companion through Etarion," Erna responded and his eyes narrowed.
The world that was supposed to be just a game was now the reality he was facing and did not know what to make of it, but he knew he needed to find out the truth and get to the bottom of it all, for something told him deep down, none of this was a coincidence.

[Your current stats are just temporary, they will be partially completed once you reach the first stage of evolution.]
'How do I evolve?' He thought as he remembered his times in the past, playing many different types of games.
"By getting stronger..." He mumbled.
[That is right, right now this is the only path that is open to you, but as you gain more experience here, you will be able to grow and get stronger, fornow these are the skills that you have and can make use of in order to help you.]
Upon seeing his stats and listening to what Erna had to say, he let out a sigh of relief, he did not know how to feel about being a necromancer, but it was better than nothing and would help in his first steps of getting stronger as well as trying to get to know the world he had entered better, in order to survive, for he could not just adapt, he was a human, not a machine.
He needed to learn its foundations, history, and reason he was brought here and everything else in order to survive and adapt to what he may be calling his home in the near future, which was now uncertain.
He tapped the map icon on the panel and a lay out came before his eyes, each city or nation that he ventured into, once it was registered, the system would automatically record it, in order for him to navigate the world better.
[Your next stop is to register at one of the order's headquarters and get your official identification, you will be able to use it no matter where you go, from there your path will be decided, being a necromancer is rare these days, some people thinks it can be only used as a talent for support in combat, not on its own.]
Upon hearing that his brows raised in surprise, that information was a given that not many knew the abilities of a necromancer, since it was not recorded during the ages of the apocalypse or even before, since being in that class became rare, it got even worse and naturally some began believing it was a root of evil as well.
Due to that and the fact that he had the previous owner of his body's memories be it about his life or otherwise, he learned quite a bit about the world, including the laws in some of the nations in which people had to abide by, he knew he had to tread carefully, for he could not afford to go under the radar of the law or that would make things a lot more difficult for him.
In most of the nations, there were indeed kings and queens, a mixture of modern and ancient, some countries had governments, but the ultimate power was held by one set of people, even those leaders with great power could not afford to go against them without facing dire consequences of their leaders, for they claimed to have been given authority by the gods themselves, the ones that were loomed over most, The Order of the White Flame.
