Chapter 8: Angel Summoning
Aurelia and Cedric sat next to each other, Aurelia was certainly trying to warm up to the hero by courtesy of her sinful nature.
"Sir Cedric, Do you by any chance not have a wife?" Aurelia blushed as she talked to Cedric making Grahm cough loudly.
"No, my mission is too important to search for something so fleeting," Cedric answered calmly not acknowledging her ever-growing blush.
"Would you be willing to be my husband?" Aurelia was as red as a tomato as she proposed to Cedric.
"No, my mission is too important." Cedric's rejection made Grahm sigh in relief and Aurelia sulk, yet she did not abandon what she wished for.
'She proposed without even seeing my face, such a sinful woman.'
It was a surprise to see her so bashful with something as innocent as a marriage proposal, it was almost like the sin of Lust didn't afflict her.
Cedric opened his status, looking over a specific skill.

Cedric was speechless, he was granted the most exalted privilege. To summon members of Angelic Host.
Looking at the skill again reassured him that God had given him all the tools he would ever need. There was no excuse for failure.
From almost divine strength to the army of angels at his command, God entrusted him with a mission of utmost importance.
Grahm spoke, "I will assign some of my best men to guard Lady Aurelia."
Cedric raised his hand, "No need. I will use one of my skills to summon beings capable of protecting her."
"It is not that I doubt your abilities sir Cedric, but are you sure summons are gonna be sufficient?" Grahm questioned.
"Nothing you can provide will be sufficient, if she truly intends to go with me she will require God's power even to stand a chance of survival."
With swift motion Cedric stood up, motioning Grahm and Aurelia to follow.
Duo looked at each other in confusion before following.
Cedric did not know how much space summoning would take, but if he were to summon Seraphim, he would most certainly require an immense amount of space.
Not that he would summon the most exalted of angels to protect a sinner, after all, such wasteful usage of God's blessing was a sin by itself.
One Archangel and 3 Guardian Angels should be enough to protect her, after all, Cedric knew an archangel could be incredibly powerful, perhaps Michael or Gabriel.
So if his summon was on a level of one of those two It would most certainly be enough to protect against all demons attacking at the same time.
Cedric did not know any powerful Guardian Angels but as God's soldiers, they most certainly held a lot of power.
The duo followed Cedric to a clearing, away from prying eyes and plenty of open space.
With a shout Cedric activated Apex skill,[Create Angelic Construct: Guardian Angel].
A massive magic circle appeared on the ground, covering most of the space.
A blinding light erupted from the circle, blinding everyone who saw it almost as if gazing into the sun.
From the light emerged a being, wings as white as the freshest of snow and yet metallic, divine flames acting as propellant coming from the end of each metallic feather, the being was completely robotic in its appearance.

This creature was not what he imagined, but perhaps he wasn't privileged to summon real angels or perhaps this was the true form of angels he did not care.
God has granted him the ability to create soldiers, incredibly powerful soldiers compared to most things in this world.
He put his thoughts aside, the same as he did with Aurelia's and Grahm's expressions conveying shock.
He did not stop there, with two more casts he summoned the remaining two Guardian Angels.
He nodded as 3 beings floated in front of him. their blazing form flickering in acknowledgment.
And yet despite their alien appearance he felt a connection to these beings, they would obey any order with his mere word.
"Protect Aurelia." His first order was simple, Aurelia needed protection if she was to go with him.
He looked as the angels made their way behind Aurelia, their Robotic bodies floating motionlessly.
Cedric nodded before turning towards the clearing once again, while guardians were decently powerful, with their class being of higher order than most, they would never stand a chance against anyone near Gaya's Caliber as much as he hated to admit it.
[Create Angelic Construct: Archangel]
The circle this time was a lot more intricate, its holy energy crackling similarly to electric arcs.
From blinding light emerged a being, this one instead of a robotic appearance was a lot more humanoid in its appearance, It was a humanoid angel of muscular build and shining golden eyes, it had feathery white wings and it exuded immense power, his armor gleaming in the sunlight in similar fashion to Cedric's own.
Perhaps He was limited in summoning proper angels, but he could create countless Guardians.

Unnamed Archangel, he shouldn't have expected to gain access to one of God's best. Perhaps he himself was being sinful for expecting so much.
"An ordinary archangel will suffice, I cannot ask for much." Cedric nodded.
He felt the same connection to the being as he did to the robotic Guardians.
'It seems the higher of the rank of Angel I summon the less robotic they become.' Cedric crossed his arms as he thought about possibilities.
Spreading God's word would be easy with an infinite army of Guardian Angels at his disposal and greater-rank angels acting as officers.
"Protect Aurelia." Cedric commanded, the angel.
What this Archangel had in common with others was that it was unnamed, perhaps I could try giving them names in the future.
"I believe this will suffice." Cedric turned to Grahm and Aurelia.
With soft steps he approached Aurelia, ignoring her blushing heavily. He knew she was acting out of lust alone after all.
[Grand Blessing] He cast a spell on Aurelia, elevating her power to unimaginable levels for the young woman.
