Dragon Ball:Vados is my Wife

Chapter 86: Chapter 86: Supreme Kai

Oh..." No. 18 turned her face away with an air of arrogance, unwilling to admit that she had brought No. 17 and No. 16 into the tournament for the sake of the championship bonus.

"So, if you want to win the championship bonus, you need to rely on your own ability. But frankly, I don't care about that small amount of money," she said nonchalantly.

"Well said. Let's go watch your brother's match," Kahn said with a smile, moving towards the junior group's arena.

"Goodbye," Rados politely bid farewell to No. 17, No. 18, and No. 16, then followed Kahn with light steps.

As they walked away, No. 17 blinked, surprised. "Is this Mr. Kahn's daughter? She's grown up so quickly…"

"No. 17, I remember Kahn only got married a few years ago, didn't he?" No. 16 said, nodding in agreement.

Their confusion was palpable. According to their memories, Kahn had only been married for about seven years, but Rados seemed much older than that. At most, she looked to be around six or seven, which didn't quite add up.

Meanwhile, in the junior group's competition arena, the atmosphere was charged with excitement. There were only 35 participants, but most were outclassed by Son Goten and Shin, who had easily made it to the finals.

As the final match began, the anticipation was high. Son Goku, along with his family, had finished talking with No. 17 and the others and now stood at the edge of the arena.

"The final match is between Goten and Shin," Son Gohan said with a proud smile.

"Hey, brother Kahn, do you think Goten will win or will Shin take it?" Son Goku asked, rubbing his hands together eagerly.

"It's obvious, isn't it? Of course, Shin will win," Rados said, her eyes glowing with pride as she looked at Shin. She then turned to her father, asking, "Dad, what do you think?"

"There should be no surprises," Kahn replied casually.

While Shin's bloodline wasn't as pure as Goten's, his normal combat power had already reached a staggering 50 billion, a level that outmatched Goten's even in his Super Saiyan form. Goten's base power was around 38 million, and even in Super Saiyan form, he barely reached 1 billion.

"Shin, come on, give me a hard blow!" Bulma cheered loudly, her voice filled with excitement for her son.

"Goten, you've got this! Don't let us down!" Chichi yelled, her voice brimming with encouragement.

The match began with the fighters readying themselves. Goten took his stance, determined not to back down, but Shin was completely confident. The battle was intense, but despite Goten's valiant effort, Shin's overwhelming power quickly became apparent. After just five moves, Shin decisively defeated Goten and claimed the junior group championship.

"Good... so strong!" Son Gohan couldn't hide his awe, watching as Shin easily dispatched Goten.

Even with his Super Saiyan transformations, Son Gohan could see that he was no match for Shin. Initially, Gohan had thought Rados was the only one with extraordinary power, but now he realized Shin was equally impressive.

Rados couldn't help but tease her older brother. "I told you it was going to be like this."

With the junior group competition concluded, it was time for the adult group's preliminary rounds. Kahn had no interest in watching Mr. Satan's antics, so he led his group straight to the adult competition's qualifiers.

The preliminary rounds were just a formality—boxing machines designed to measure the strength of contestants. Kahn and his party casually breezed through, carefully controlling their power to avoid destroying the machines with a single punch. After successfully passing the qualifiers, they made their way toward the main event, only to be blocked by two unexpected figures.

Floating in the air before them was Supreme Kai, along with his assistant, Jebit.

"Hey, that guy's floating in the air too," Videl whispered to Son Gohan, eyeing the Supreme Kai curiously.

Kahn raised an eyebrow and observed Supreme Kai with amusement. "Interesting," he remarked, his voice dripping with a touch of sarcasm.

Without hesitation, Supreme Kai floated down to stand in front of Kahn and his group. "Excuse me, you are Kahn, correct?" he asked, his tone authoritative yet expectant.

"Yes, that's me," Kahn answered, his gaze unyielding. "Are you floating in mid-air because you're worried that I won't see you?"

A moment of awkward silence passed as Kai blinked in surprise. It seemed like Kahn wasn't intimidated by his display. Clearly, he wasn't expecting such a blunt response. Yet, Supreme Kai quickly regained his composure and said, "I've heard of you. I was hoping we could join forces."

Kahn tilted his head slightly. "Join forces? What's the purpose? Are you afraid of Majin Buu?"

Supreme Kai's face instantly changed, his surprise evident. "You know of Majin Buu?" he asked, his voice filled with disbelief.

"What's Majin Buu?" Son Gohan asked, scratching his head.

"We don't know either," Son Goku added, equally confused.

"It sounds like some kind of evil being. Can I go beat him up?" Rados asked eagerly, already itching for a fight.

Kahn raised a hand dismissively. "I know too much about him. But if you're here to join forces for Majin Buu, I don't think it's necessary."

Supreme Kai's expression faltered. "Why? Majin Buu could destroy Earth… and perhaps the entire universe!"

Kahn's gaze grew colder as he glanced at Supreme kai. "How did you become Supreme Kai, you soft-legged shrimp? You don't need to worry about Earth. There's still time. And as for Majin Buu—well, no one will be around to clean up the mess later if you're not careful."
