Chapter 5: Problems of Nouding Academy

Everyone in the dorm were looking at Chao like he was a monster. They didn't pay much attention to him before. They remembered him as some nobody, but it turned out that he was the strongest.

Wang Sheng happily ran towards Chao like a cute little puppy. "Congratulations, You are our boss now! We will all call you boss from now on."

Kids started surrounding Chao. They wanted to get close to their new boss but their plans fell apart right away. "I have no plans of being your boss. You are children, act like it. Only gangs have bosses, while all of you are just kids."

A lot of kids were disappointed, but Wang Sheng tried to explain how everything worked at Nouding Academy. "All of us in the 7th dormitory are working students, while the other dormitories are filled with normal rich students. They bully us constantly, and if we don't protect each other they will hurt us."

Chao remembered the way everything worked in this Academy. The strong ate The weak, and if you weren't a bully, you got bullied. He didn't want to be a part of this system, but it would be hard to change it, since this whole world worked the same.

Chao didn't know how to fix the problems with this whole world, but he would at least try to change this Academy. "Listen up everyone! I don't want to be called the boss. It's moronic for a bunch of kids to be running around, calling someone boss. Now to the actual important matter, I'm going to be leaving the school tomorrow and I'll come back in a week. I want all of you to not start fights and avoid them at all cost. Does everybody understand?"

The children looked at Chao confused. All of them would be happy with other people calling them boss, but Chao told them they couldn't. It was weird for all of the kids that were chasing after honor and achievement.

Chao got out of circle or kids and started looking for his bed. There were a lot of empty ones, and all of them looked much better than the bed he had back in the village. His bed at the village was just a wooden bed with a cloth on top of it.

Chao picked a bed at random and layed down. Even though the bed only had a mattress on it, it still felt like he was buying a new mattress in the store. It was a heavenly feeling for Chao, who hasn't experienced anything modern since he came to this world.

While Chao was enjoying his time on the mattress, Tang San and Xiao Wu were sharing information about him. Xiao Wu had a bad impression of him, and was clearly mad at him. On other hand Tang San looked up to him a lot. In his opinion, Chao could fight him on equal foot. But with his concealed weapons, Tang San was sure of his victory.

Even though Tang San and Xiao Wu had different opinions, they still managed to bond over them. Both of them felt their competitive side blazing with fire.

One wanted to prove he was the strongest with his sect's teachings, while the other has always been called "Big Sister" and was respected. Now, she had someone else she had to respect, and that is unacceptable for her.

Wang Sheng tapped Chao's shoulder to get his attention. "We are planning on going to the cafeteria, wanna come with us?" Chao wasn't much of an eater but a tour around the Academy wasn't bad Idea.

Everybody from dorm seven went to the Cafeteria. The doors of the Cafeteria were normal, while the inside looked really fancy. The Cafeteria was a two story building that was split between the poor area and the rich area based on the floor.

Chao could feel dirty looks directed at him right away. He always had the theory that Little kids were the most evil creatures in the world, and the kids looking at him like he was garbage were proving this.

Wang Sheng was explaining some stuff about cafeteria when they heard somebody chirping from the second floor. "Well, aren't those Wang Sheng and his poor gang? I bet they will never be able to eat on second floor."

Chao looked at the little kid, who looked like a typical bully. The kids on the second floor were clearly nobles, as they were radiating arrogance. Chao wasn't planning on paying much attention to the kids, but Xiao Wu decided to respond.

"What's so great about the second floor?" She said, glaring at the arrogant kids. The kids finally noticed Xiao Wu, who seemed to be cute in their opinion. "Wow, such a pretty little girl. Too bad you're just an apprentice."

She clearly got angry. If Wang Sheng didn't hold her back, she would have gone to beat that kid up. Chao thought everything was over when the kids on the higher floor started provoking them again.

"Wang Sheng, if you get her to be my girlfriend, I'll leave you guys alone." This infuriated Xiao Wu even more. She pushed Wang Sheng back, and got ready to run towards the annoying kids.

Chao quickly got in front of her and told her to stop. She was about to start complaining when she heard Chao start talking to the kids. "Just because your mom got violated by a noble, it doesn't mean that you are a noble too. You know that right? In the best case scenario, you are a bastard that will die in the hands of the children that your daddy actually loves."

The kids that were laughing on the second floor now stood there in silence. Even the kids from dorm seven looked at Chao, shocked. The kid that was provoking them was now red as a tomato. Everybody was suprised by Chao's creative insults, except Tang San, who had already experienced it. He was shaking his head, sighing and chuckling a little.

Chao didn't care anymore and walked towards an empty table, with the kids from dorm seven following him hurriedly. While eating, the conversation ended up on Innate Soul powers, and that's when everyone found out that Chao's soul power was eight.

Almost all of them had the soul power of two or three when they awakened their martial spirit. Seeing someone with soul power eight and ten was groundbreaking. During the conversation, everyone found out that Tang San didn't have a soul ring yet.

Chao could guess that his System wouldn't give him missions, since he hasn't gotten it, even after meeting Tang San. There were two possibilities. number one, his system was useless if he doesn't count the start. Possibility two, which had the bigger probability to be true, was that his system would only give him a reward after he changed the story.

Chao had the perfect opportunity to test it. He could help Tang San get a soul ring, even if it was the same one. His master not being there and not getting hurt should be a big enough change to get a reward.

Chao looked at Tang San who looked at him cluelessly. Even though he looked like that, Chao knew that Tang San was a cold blooded killer who wouldn't blink before killing him.

Chao got closer to Tang San and asked him. "I'm planning on going to hunt for a spirit ring tomorrow, if you want you can come with me. The chief of my village will help you get a spirit ring too."

Tang San was worried since he didn't know much about this world's power or how strong chief Lang was. He was about to turn him down when Chao started explaining.

"Chief Lang is a spirit leader with the soul power of 43. He can help you get any century old spirit ring. If you wait for the teachers from school to take you, they might tell you to absorb a ten year old spirit ring."

After hearing everything, Tang San was more convinced. He could feel that Chao did not have any harmful intent towards him, so he decided to trust him. Chao quickly explained the details to Tang San, and left Cafeteria.

Chao was trying to find any place related to sport on campus, but he couldn't find anything. The academy had multiple private and normal classrooms, but no rooms targeted towards specific lessons. The whole academy was kinda of bland.

This stroll gave chao an idea. He could talk to the principle or the school administration to create a supervised arena where kids could fight each other safely. Teachers would be there all the time, so nobody would get hurt.

This way, the kids that had too much energy would have a place to take out their energy and stress instead of bullying random children.

The details needed to be figured out, but as an idea it seemed alright. Chao finished his stroll and found a quiet place to practice. Luke's existence and his death put lot of stress on his shoulders.

Chao also had a system, which meant he could also get a mission that could lead to his death, or even worse, get him deleted.

If he was practicing to get back to his world before, now he was trying to survive the world and the System.
