Chapter 76: Trickery.
Mykel entered the garden of Asgard, it was like a normal garden, the whole place was more of like a forest than a garden. He didn't know exactly where Loki was, but he could hear birds chirping in the trees, guiding him somewhere. When he took a turn, he saw Loki standing in the middle of an empty space in the forest in her long green gown.
[Notice! Character [Loki Laufeyson] has been re-registered into the system under his own will]
"You, you're embracing those memories," Mykel said as he looked at Loki with a confused look.
"I was drowned in those memories," Loki answered as he walked toward Mykel. "It felt surreal. I was jealous and perhaps I want to experience it with my own skin and flesh," Loki continued as he carefully put his smooth hand on Mykel's cheek.
Mykel felt uncomfortable no matter how many times he had been in that situation whenever he was with Loki. But, weirdly enough, Loki whom he knew wasn't the same as the one in front of him.
"How weird it is to remember how it feels even though I haven't touched you before," Loki said as he chuckled softly. "The fact that you react the same way is rather cute," Loki continued and slowly removed his hand from Mykel's cheek.
Loki heard the sound of ravens on the trees, he then waved at it with a smile on his face.
"Someone is curious about our conversation, but that will change after he heard everything," Loki said as he sat on top of a rock. "Let's go straight to the point why I brought you here, Mykel. It's because of what you have on you right now," Loki continued.
"What do I have?" Mykel asked with his eyebrows furrowed.
"Your system. You're curious about who gave it to you, right? Who's powerful enough to let the system be real and exist? The system that's powerful enough even us, the Gods of Earth can't win against it," Loki answered as he stared into Mykel's eyes with lust. "How it happened and why it happened," Loki continued as he crossed his legs.
"And you know the answer to that?" Mykel asked with his eyebrow raised.
"No, but that should be enough as a lead, right? Don't you think it comes from up there?" Loki asked as he pointed at the sky. "But it's obviously not from The Lord that we know because why would he do that? He didn't even bother to check Earth after this whole thing was created," Loki continued.
"And it's not your ancestors as well, so who do you think gave me this power?" Mykel asked.
"The same being who created this new system. The one who opened the doors to the Realm of God. The one who brought Sasha back to life," Loki answered with a smirk. "The one who has been lurking on Earth and lives among us the Gods," Loki continued.
Before Mykel could say the name, Loki put his index finger on his lips, smiling at him. He shook his head so slowly because he knew the name that Mykel was about to say.
"You fell right into his scheme," Loki said as he stood up and stretched his arms up, showing off his slender and beautiful body to Mykel. "I was the first who became your ally, and now I want to be your first ally again. Let me join the exciting journey of yours, Mykel Alester," Loki continued and he suddenly was right behind Mykel even though he was right in front of him before.
"Do you think I would fall for your acting? Do you think I would believe that you're the same Loki as the one in my story? Do you think I would feel comfortable to know I have someone that will have my back?" Mykel asked as he slowly walked toward Loki. "What are you scheming, Loki?" Mykel stood in front of Loki and stared him in the eye.
Mykel knew what was in Loki's mind through the system which Loki didn't know it could read him like an open book. He knew all kinds of Loki's tricks beforehand and tried to bait him so the system could see what was Loki scheming.
Loki was shocked and showed fear in his eye, and then suddenly the ravens flew away. He immediately changed from fear to excitement as he smiled widely and stared back into Mykel's eyes.
"Don't be so tense. I just want one thing in return, and that's..." Loki paused and then whispered something into Mykel's ear. "That's what I want, and I believe you can help me get that," Loki said.
Mykel looked at Loki and didn't say a single word after he heard what Loki wanted. He never thought Loki would know what it was, and it wasn't even a bad deal for him.
"Now you know how precious and valuable that information is, don't you? You know where it is. I want it," Loki said with a smile and then disappeared into thin air.
Mykel went back to meet with the others, and they knew the whole situation from Elena. It shocked them, but it didn't scare them, in fact, they were curious about those realms.
"You're done?" Elena asked.
"Not yet," Mykel said as he looked at the notification in front of him.
[The system has registered 89% of the current world. Approximately to register the whole world is 32 minutes]
[All the [Characters] inside the current world are ready to be registered. Would you like to register them into the system?]
"(Yes. How long will it takes?)" Mykel asked as he sat down and grabbed the mead that Elena offered.
[There are a total of 2,729 living beings that have been detected. Approximately it will take ten minutes]
"(We are just talking about Asgard, right?)" Mykel asked.
[Correct]
"(Just bring back all the characters that used to exist in the character list. Ignore the rest of them for now)" Mykel said as he drank the mead.

[The Owner can modify them, but the system suggests avoiding changing their behaviors and personality to avoid getting caught]
"(Fair enough. I don't need the system for that)" Mykel said and emptied the whole jug.
Mykel stood up and stood in front of the ruined palace, and then he used [Chronokinesis] skill to turn back the palace before the battle. Freyja and everyone there were dumbfounded when they saw the palace was being reconstructed on its own and it came back to its prime.
"My job here is done. I have given my words, and now we will leave you alone," Mykel said as he looked at Freyja. "Tell Odin, that I'll be back for more knowledgeable," Mykel continued and then left.
Jeanne and the others followed him from behind and then flew away. They all went back down to Midgard, but they were eager to explore more since they hadn't seen the edge.
"We're not going to Niflheim? Hel should be down there, right?" Aurea asked.
"I don't have business with her. There's a place I want to be next, Mount Olympus," Mykel said as he looked in the distance and saw the mountain that pierced through the clouds. "I need to meet Hera," Mykel pointed out.
"Can I ask you something first?" Aurea asked as she looked at Mykel.
Mykel looked over his shoulder and looked at Aurea with his eyebrows raised.
"If we somehow made a mess over there. Aren't you interested in what would the primordial Gods do when they saw it?" Aurea asked.
"You're interested in Khaos?" Mykel asked.
Aurea slowly smiled and raised her eyebrows as she nodded her head.
"Do you even know how powerful he is?" Mykel asked again.
"No, that's why I'm interested in him. Isn't that a good opportunity to bring Khaos into the system? Or you know, Nyx? With that, you can know about the realm above, right?" Aurea asked back with her arms crossed.
Mykel never thought about it and it was the first time Aurea could think of something brilliant. He wasn't against the idea, in fact, he was interested and agreed with her suggestion.
"You guys want to start a war?" Mykel asked as he looked at each one of them.
"We'll follow you, boss, until the end," Gunnar answered.
Everyone nodded their heads and agreed with Gunnar, even Jeanne didn't mind. Enma was still a bit surprised at how they were blindly following Mykel, but she started to see why.
"Let's go to war then," Mykel said as he spread his wings wide and then flew to Mount Olympus.
