Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

As the struggles between the weaker powers inside the Star Shattering Sect began to intensify with old ones trying to keep control of their territory, while newer powers tried establishing themselves, the Star Shattering Sect and the larger powers under them, like the independent sects and the Iron Sky Kingdom, decided to step in and manage the situation before it grew out of control. Allocating the newer cultivation clans and families that sought to establish themselves inside the territory of the Star Shattering Sect in some of the more remote and less populated regions of the territory.

Given that the sheer size of the Star Shattering Sect's territory could already be considered massive, there was still more than enough empty land left for people to settle on. The main problem with this land often being that it had not yet been cultivated or cleared of demon beasts. Making it a bit more challenging for the different weaker clans and families to establish themselves there.

However, considering that Elder Song was already looking for an opportunity to increase the sect's production of some lower-level cultivation resources throughout the territory of the sect, he jumped at the opportunity to lend these weaker powers a hand in establishing themselves inside the sect's territory, while in turn having them focus on producing different cultivation resources for the Star Shattering Sect.

Of course, given that the Star Shattering Sect was the overlord of the region and the power that they sought protection under from the constant onslaught of demonic cultivators in their old homes, none of these smaller cultivation clans and families had anything to complain about upon being allocated to cultivate certain resources for the Star Shattering Sect.

Instead, no small number of them began feeling a sense of relief and happiness at the task being assigned to them, as it essentially meant that they would be under the direct protection of the Star Shattering Sect.

In turn, this ended up causing some of the older powers throughout the Star Shattering Sect that had been established earlier than the recent refugees to grow nervous, as they also contacted the different branches of the Star Shattering Sect asking for opportunities to be allocated the task of creating different cultivation resources, something that Elder Song was more than happy to agree with. Soon enough, making the different smaller powers throughout the Star Shattering Sect's territory start competing over who could produce more cultivation resources.

To ensure that the different smaller powers continued producing cultivation resources for the Star Shattering Sect in the future, Elder Song made sure to take advantage of the situation and establish different competitions for the smaller powers to compete over who could produce the best or the most of certain cultivation resources.

The reward of these different competitions came in the form of more land being allocated to them to grow their territory, opportunities for their senior members to break through certain bottlenecks or a guaranteed chance for their younger generation to enter one of the Star Shattering Sect's branches.

Considering that the strongest cultivators among these minor powers were at most around the Core Formation Realm with only a rare few having reached the Nascent Soul Realm, it wasn't that difficult to accomplish. Especially so considering the opportunities provided by the Star Shattering Sect were far more tangible than the opportunities they might have been able to get in their past kingdom.

After all, the current Star Shattering Sect had no lack of Domain Lord Realm cultivators and didn't really care about the strength of the minor powers under them becoming stronger and potentially giving birth Domain Lord Realm cultivators.

If these minor powers did excel and showed their worth, the Star Shattering Sect wouldn't hold back on helping them grow, as there weren't any negatives to the smaller powers under the sect becoming stronger.

With the current strength of the Star Shattering Sect, the only thing that might threaten their current position would be if one of the minor powers gave birth to someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm, but… Considering that the strongest among them had only reached the Nascent Soul Realm, it wasn't realistic for one of these smaller powers to give birth to such a powerful cultivator in the short term.

By the time that they might have an opportunity to give birth to such a powerful cultivator, the Star Shattering Sect would already have become far stronger than it was now. Possibly even reaching the point where a subordinate power with strength in the Celestial Immortal Realm wasn't that unrealistic.

Of course, this was still for the far future. For now, the different minor powers under the Star Shattering Sect are still starting to get used to their new circumstances and starting to get familiar with cultivating different cultivation resources for the Star Shattering Sect.

For now, the different minor powers were all split into tiers depending on the cultivation resources that they could cultivate.

Minor powers where Foundation Establishment Realm cultivators were the strongest, being allocated Mortal Grade cultivation resources to cultivate or create.

Minor powers where Core Formation Realm cultivators were the strongest, being allocated Earth Grade cultivation resources to cultivate or create.

Minor powers where Nascent Soul Realm cultivators were the strongest, being allocated Spirit Grade cultivation resources to cultivate or create.

Anything at the Soul Grade or above was personally cultivated by the Star Shattering Sect due to the importance of resources of that grade, though it didn't stop any of different minor powers from cultivating these kinds of resources if they had the ability to without the help of the Star Shattering Sect.

Competition between the different minor powers would also take place between those at the same tier and by the time this system was established throughout the Star Shattering Sect's territory, the refugee situation had already been solved with a fully established procedure on how to take care of any mortals or minor powers seeking to move into the territory of the Star Shattering Sect.
