Chapter 3: The Rise of Aaron
Aaron stared intently as dozens of faint rays of light appeared one after another.
He could hardly contain his excitement, eager to discover the spoils he would receive this time.
"Ding! Congratulations to the host for acquiring: Dilapidated Mai x5, Rusty Iron Rod x3, Reiatsu x15, Quincy Bloodline, and Special Skill x1!"
As soon as the system prompt rang out, Aaron felt a faint, warm current flow through his body.
Special Skill? Let's see what it is!
A virtual screen materialized before his eyes:
[The Strongest Box-Picking System]
Host: Aaron
Age: 16
Lineage: Human Soul, Quincy
Reiatsu: 95
Special Skill: Omniscience and Omnipotence
Kendō: None
Hakuda: None
Shunpo: None
Kidō: None
After reviewing his character panel, Aaron's heart surged with excitement.
He had obtained Yhwach's omniscience and omnipotence!
He understood this ability well from watching Bleach. It was a skill that defied comprehension, capable of reshaping reality itself.
Aaron never imagined he would acquire such overwhelming power.
But now was not the time to delve into its mysteries.
The commotion he caused was bound to attract patrolling Shinigami. Though he had omniscience and omnipotence, his overall strength was still too weak. He needed to leave this area immediately.
Without hesitation, Aaron departed at full speed, returning to his usual hideout.
About ten minutes later, a group of Shinigami, clad in black Shihakushō, arrived at the scene. Leading them was a white-haired man.
If Aaron had been there, he would have immediately recognized the figure.
It was Chōjirō Sasakibe, Lieutenant of the 1st Division, and right-hand man to Captain-Commander Yamamoto.
"Secure the area!" Chōjirō commanded sharply. "Report this incident to Captain Yamamoto immediately!"
His gaze lingered on the bodies scattered before him, eventually settling on a particular corpse.
Yhwach.
With a grave expression, Chōjirō muttered under his breath, "This isn't ordinary... Something far greater is at play here."
Meanwhile, in the shadowed recesses of the Seireitei, buildings constructed from Reishi began to crumble.
Twenty-five figures, garbed in white, gathered briefly before dispersing into the darkness.
Back at his residence, Aaron, still catching his breath, checked his surroundings repeatedly to ensure his safety. Satisfied that he was alone, he reopened the system panel to study the detailed description of omniscience and omnipotence.
Through careful analysis and his knowledge of the anime, Aaron reached some conclusions.
Yhwach's omniscience and omnipotence allowed him to perceive the past and future and grant powers to others. It also gave him the ability to reclaim those powers at will.
However, this ability wasn't without limitations. For example, illusions or dream-based powers could interfere with Yhwach's foresight.
This revelation made Aaron realize the potential of his newfound ability—its true strength lay in pushing beyond conventional boundaries of understanding.
Though Yhwach wielded this power destructively, Aaron saw an opportunity to use it for development.
As a Bleach fan and now a transmigrator, Aaron had insights into the events of this world that even Yhwach couldn't possess.
It was no wonder he had managed to defeat Yhwach, though the current timeline was still a thousand years before the main storyline. Yhwach was far from his prime, and his defeat was inevitable.
Armed with this foreknowledge, Aaron vowed to reshape the future of this world.
Outside the Seireitei, the sprawling districts of Rukongai stretched out. Each quadrant, divided into 80 districts, grew increasingly lawless and dangerous the farther one ventured from the center.
In these outskirts roamed powerful yet unruly wandering souls, some of whom had tormented Aaron in the past.
With his system and new abilities, Aaron set his sights on these outlaws. They would serve as his first targets.
From weak to strong, step by step, he would grow. Killing and hardship were inevitable parts of this journey.
As the morning sun illuminated the sky, Aaron stepped out of his residence, determination blazing in his eyes.
The time for his first plan had come.
