Fergus Mansion

Ian walked into the large European style ancient mansion.

"Welcome back young master" An old maid said wanting to take Ian coat which was on his hand but Ian stopped her.

"Where's Father?"

He asked, his voice cold and emotionless.

"Master is in the study. He has been awaiting your return"

answered the woman.

Ian aura got increasingly cold and he pressed his lips into a thin line.

He didn't say anything else but walked towards the direction of the Study.

"Hope this ends well"

Martha said as she released the breath she had been holding since Ian entered.

Martha is the head chef and butler of the Fergus house sine Ian had been a child.

Her family only lived to serve the Fergus family and that they did for many generations. Her father was here

before her and as the first child she took over.

Ian face was dark and gloomy as he opened the door to the study

There was a man sitting there. Two ink slabs was placed beside him and in his hand was a calligraphy paint brush which he used to draw on the white sheet in front of him.

He was writing some words and each stroke was deep and meticulous.

It was made up of two colors Red and black.

The red was made to compliment the black giving the words a oppressing feeling.

Ian looked at the word he wrote and his eyes darkened.

What the man was writing was a name, a woman's name- "Shannon"

"Did you call me here to see you calligraph your lovers name"

Ian asked coldly

The man looked up and looked at Ian coldly, he dropped the brush and start up straight .

the man was a little aged but it still had the authority than the dominance of a young person he looked calmly at Ian then said "sit down "

Ian looked at him for moment then sat down the man looked at him for a minute or two then said

" it's about time we had this talk"

the man paused and looked at Ian for a moment

"You need to get married"

"so? " Ian questioned

"and I found the perfect candidates for you "

"And who is the person " Ian calmly asked as it wasn't his marriage they were talking about.

"Lauryn Josh"

"And who is she?"

The man eyelids twitched.

"Is that what you are supposed to focus on?"

Ian asked placing his coat on the stool beside him

"Yes"

Finlay was getting annoyed by his Sons questions.

"Good"

Ian said then stood up with his coat.

"What do you mean?"

"Since you like her you can get married to her instead"

Ian said Coldly and walked towards the door.

Finlay face twitched. This son of his is always getting on his nerves.

Before Ian could get to the door, Finlay voice sounded

"If you want to take over the company, you have to get married"

Ian paused.

He wasn't the chairman and owner but the CEO.

He didn't have full control over the company as Finlay still had 15 percent shares while he had 35%.

"Don't you worry, I have a wife"

Ian didn't wait for Finlay to respond as he left the building.

Inside the study Finlay relaxed on the chair and took out his phone and called a person.

"She needs to return"

He dropped his phone and smiled slightly.

"Let's see how your wife can handle the pressure, Ian"

A girl sat on a leather chair with her eyes closed.

She had a shoulder length brown hair that rested on her shoulders gracefully.

She was beautiful and had an aura of a noble.

The door to the office opened and a young girl with blonde hair entered and Said

"Young miss, Master request your presence"

Her pink thin lips moved

"Tell father I'll be there soon"

The girl opened her eyes showing her deep blue eyes.

And she stood up dusting the non-existent dust on her blue suit
