[ Moment prior to Rei striking down the Buggy Pirates with lightning bolts ]

"Rei!" "Rei!" "Rei!"

"It's been over half an hour that we're looking for Rei and there is no sign of him still" Itadori released an exasperated sigh when he found no sign of lightning boy around the town. Bang, who was totally aware about the boy's location continued to watch other members and thought whether he should tell them or not, but in the end, he didn't tell them to keep them away from potential danger.

Itadori had a light bulb lit over his head all of a sudden, when he remembered they had a wizard walking with them, he turned to little hungry girl who looked at him with dead eyes, "Hey, Megumin. Use your magic to find the location of Rei!"

"What?!" Itadori deflated to the ground with a dead look on his face, "You can only use one type of spell a day? And you defeating that demon lord was a lie?!"

"Hahahahahahaha. You're doomed, brat!" mouth on Itadori's face roared into the laughter after he heard that girl was telling a lie all along. Seeing the helpless expression on Itadori's face, he continued to laugh just to add salt over his fresh wounds laid by little arch wizard.

Bang and Megumin were surprised to see the King of curse which had come on the face of jujutsu sorcerer. They were about to ask him about it more, but then they heard barking of dog from the street beside them. Turning their heads in that direction, they noticed an old man and a dog covered up in wounds, with dog barking at someone aggressively.

*Bark!* *Bark!* *Bark!*

"Why are you doing this!" Itadori stood up in front of man sitting over the giant beast, who looked at him with an annoying expression on his face for getting interrupted with his fun. He was about to stomp over the little annoying dog for bothering him earlier, but this pink haired kid dared to interfere between them.

Both of the chat group members helped the old man get up from the ground and Dog was still barking at the beast who was trying to scare him away. But instead of getting scared, dog stood straight with wounds all around his body and barking aggressively at the man and beast. Getting irritated by their presence, the man over beast ordered it tear apart these new individuals with his claws, but old man dressed in black walked in front of them swiftly and got into the fighting stance.

Bang moved his arm in the flow of water, surprising everyone in the vicinity to see what he was going to do with that move next. He punched at both of them one after the another before they could even land a single hit on him. For next few moments, sounds of cracking bones and collision were heard by every individual around him.

*Thud!*

Both beast and it's master fell on the ground unconscious after few punches landed on to them by the old man. Itadori and Megumin were clapping at his feat which made him cough to hide his embarassment from their admiration of his strength. He turned his head to the old man who held his arm in pain and looked at him in disbelief.

"How did you knock them down?" Mayor looked at the old man which was around same age as him and beat the enemies with bare hands. He stepped in to save the dog from the beast, but he couldn't build up the courage to fight against the opponent in front of him.

All of a sudden, they heard rumblings from the sky. They noticed sun was still shining brightly in the sky but strangely there were dark clouds over a certain place, with lightning crackling in it and roar of thunder all around the town.

"It must be Rei!" Itadori looked at it in excitement and meanwhile rest of them watched what was going to happen next at that spot. What happened next, send shivers down their spine for next few minutes and there was only thought came in their head, while thinking that one behind it is a devil himself.

Rei stretched his arms in the air with a smile on his face, and on the other hand, Nami had a look of bewilderment on her face after witnessing the hellish scene with her eyes.

"Hey, don't you think you went overboard with that attack?" Nami turned her head to the black haired kid, who put back his headphones around his ears while going through his mobile phone. She couldn't help but ask him what he was holding in his hand, "What's this?"

"It's a mobile phone. A very useful gadget in our world which makes life a lot tolerable and efficient" She was about to ask more about it, but then black haired kid looked at her and pointed at the entrance of pub, "Don't you want to get all the treasure? Hurry up, before the other pirates end up showing into this town"

When she heard the mention of word, 'treasure', her eyes turned into the belli signs and she jolted inside the pub to collect all the loot. Looking at her speed, Rei sweatdropped at her enthusiasm and turned his head to the top of bar, where he striked down the whole Buggy Pirates at once.

'I couldn't use this technique more than 30 seconds in a day and then I call myself strong' Rei looked at his palms drenched in sweat and then something clicked in his head and he immediately ran up from the side stairs to reach at the rooftop. In front of him, there were bodies all charred up in dark and smell was too overbearing for him. 'Looks like no one made out alive from here aside from that clown over there'

He turned his head in a certain direction, where bodies were piled up in a heap, walking upto it, he used the lightning from afar to knock away the mountain to face the clown hiding under it. As soon it was out, he met with the sight of perfectly fine Buggy looking at him with an awkward smile.

'If it wasn't for me planting this little electric shock in his head, he would have slipped out of my hand' With a snap of his finger, pirate clown fell to the ground unconscious in front of Rei. It was like a switch that he had planted in head of Buggy, which would immediately shuts down the consciousness and making the target lose hold of all of their senses for hours.

After tying him with the ropes that he was holding in his head, he stored him in his chat group storage for future purpose. Walking down the stairs, he knocked on the door to ask the orange haired girl, if she was done with collecting all of Buggy's treasures.

"How much time are you going to take for it, Nami?"

"It'll take few more minutes to accumulate all of this treasure into this bag"

"Well, hurry up then"

He sat down one one of the chairs outside the pub while waiting for her to come out of the pub. Going through the music playlist in his mobile phone, he sipped on the cold drink to calm down the effect of heat on his body.

As he was relaxing in peace, while listening to the music, a tap on his shoulder caused him to look at the person who disrupted his vibe he was in. He was surprised to see Luffy and Zoro standing in front of him. The guys that he wanted to meet, came to him on their own.

"Yo" Strawhat boy waved at him and the guy beside him looked at Rei with cautiousness. His hands were still on the swords while they were facing the boy, who now noticed their presence in front of him.

Rei pointed at the grinning strawhat boy and then turned his head to the green haired swordsman with a raised brow, "You're that boy trapped in the cage earlier and you….who are you?"

"I am Monkey D Luffy" "Zoro"

"I am Rei" He was about to ask them what were they doing here, but the strawhat boy interrupted him before he could speak any further.

"You could have dealt him with them like earlier you did. So why did you kill every one of them?" Strawhat boy looked down at black haired kid, who brought down the headphones to his neck and stood up from the chair.

"I don't care I would have painted the town red with their bloods even earlier. It's all upto my mood" He shrugged his shoulders and then looked at the duo with crossed arms, "What about you guys? What do you want from me?"

"I am a Pirate Captain, I want you to join my crew!" He grinned while putting his hand over the strawhat which was moving by the breezes.

"You're joking, right?" asked Rei in disbelief when he heard him inviting to join his crew. It was too absurd for someone to invite a person which can strike lightnings at people, but then he realized who was the guy standing in front of him.

Strawhat boy tilted his head to the side, "No, why would I joke about it?"

'Anyone would take it as a joke if you go around asking strong individuals like him to join you. Did I really make the right choice to join him?' The swordsman turned his head to the black haired kid and was about to get into battle with him any moment, ever since they walked upto him.

"I literally killed the man who had you trapped inside that cage. So how do you expect someone stronger than you to be under you? Doesn't this sound ridiculous to you?"

"I was not trapped by him there. It was my navigator who tricked me!"

"Your Navigator? I don't underst-"

"Rei!"

There conversation was interrupted by a loud voice which came from behind Zoro and Luffy, who turned their heads to see who was the other individual involved with this dude. After witnessing black haired boy's strength, he was the next one who will be making their eyes go wide with his level of strength.
