A Student with Multiverse Chat Group

"Are you alright, Issei?" asked Rei sitting beside his brother, who was typing something on it's mobile phone. He peeked into it and noticed that he was texting long ass message to his new girlfriend, after getting no text from her. Seeing this, he couldn't help but pity him. But then a plan came to his head to turn this situation to a better one for his little brother.

"She is not going to reply" replied Rei which caused him to stop and turned to his brother in surprise, wondering why he said that to him. "She left with her family to the England yesterday night, that's why she has been ignoring you all this time"

"What?!" shrieked Issei when he heard his brother words and stood up while holding the cell phone tightly in his hand, "Don't lie to me Rei. She can never do something like this to me"

Rei replied with a sigh, "Well she did. A friend of mine from her class crossed path with me earlier and I asked about your girlfriend. She told me that her father got transferred and she left last night"

"But why she isn't answering to my messages, this doesn't make any sense. Did your friend tell anything that she heard from Yuuma about me" inquired Issei about the details of his lover's intentions about him. All of this was hitting him with a bolt of lightning one after another.

"She said to me that Yuuma left to England with her family last night and she was sad while telling about it. She also said that she will miss you and also her dad won't agree to both of your relationship since you're not on her wealth level" said Rei causing Issei's eyes to widen in surprise from this revelation. He then continued to add another detail to hit final nail in coffin, "Are you sure that you can get a good job with a high salary with the scores that you have right now. You should give up and find someone else, forget about her"

"I'll do anything for Yuuma! It doesn't matter if I have to go through boring studies, I'll work hard to get a good job and marry her" said Issei with fiery eyes and heading back to his room to go on his grind for her lover. Meanwhile Rei walked towards the kitchen to get something to eat.

'It's better to let Issei be this way, afterall he is finally on the right track in his life. Although I am not sure how long he is going to stay motivated, but atleast he took the first step, which most of 'all knowing losers' scared to attempt' Rei was happy that Issei got serious about his studies and lying about all this, didn't matter him to much because a lie making someone's life better is far better than telling truth to make life hell.

*Beeep!*

A familiar sound that was ringing in his head earlier on the way, made it's way in his head once again. Getting curious about it, he opened the chat group and was surprised to see a red dot over the quest icon on the screen.

Touching on it immediately a detail about his first quest showed up in front of him. Reading the contents of it, he had a look of surprise on his face.

"First quest in Nami's world? Now this is something I didn't expect when I had expectations about it. I am guessing that chats will be going crazy right now" Rei turned off the notification and then decided to look into the chat section, but a ring on doorbell caught his attention.

Twitching this sudden disruption, he went to the door to open it since calling Issei from his room above will cost more time than him going there. He opened the door and saw his mom carrying grocery bag in her hand. Taking it from her, he went towards the kitchen to offer her water.

After dealing with all this, he went back to his room after 10 minutes and locked it from inside to restrict any further interruptions.

Rei jumped into the chat section

to have a discussion about the first quest. He went through the chats and noticed that Nami had already told them about Arlong and his men, ruling over her village, while living in his park with his goons.

When Rei read the messages, he was surprised that Nami would reveal everything about him and not argue about keeping it personal to her. But still she didn't tell anything about her deal with Arlong, which made him bit vary about it.

[[ Nami: How can all of you be so carefree about this quest?! Don't you have any fear facing Arlong Pirates, even after telling everything about him ]]

[[ Megumin: Fear? He is no match to the Crimson demon. I'll blow away his park and him with my explosion! ]]

[[ Itadori: Yeah! Why should we fear, when we have Megumin with us.]]

[[ Bang: It looks like the quest will end in just a day, after listening to the Arlong you speak of. I've dealt with beings like that a lot of times in my city ]]

[[ Rei: Rest assured, Nami. It's no longer your personal problem, with this quest, it's the chat members's problem as well. And don't worry about safety of your villagers, we will not let any harm befall upon them while we deal with Arlong and his men ]]

[[ Nami: Can you guys really defeat Arlong? I don't know if all of you're strong enough to fight someone like him ]]

[[ Rei: Just sit back and watch us free your village from him. He might be strongest in your world, but not in ours. I've slayed more powerful individuals than him ]]

[[ Itadori: We can count on Rei as well! ]]

[[ Nami: But what about you, Itadori? Are you strong as well like the other ones? ]]

[[ Itadori: Wait until I show you my lightsaber skills in a battle ]]

[[ Rei: Alright guys, I have to go to supermarket to do some shopping. I'll see you all in Nami's world ]]

After exiting the chat group, Rei headed to the nearest supermarket to buy food supplies for this journey. He didn't want to end up in an isolated island with nothing but animals to feed upon, which is last thing he would prey on for his survival. On his return with so much stuff, he was questioned by his family for reason to buy this much, but he came up with a lie to cover up and making back to his room with a large backpack.

"I think this will be enough for one week. Also, Itadori and Bang will be bringing food from their world, so it will be no problem. As for Megumin, she didn't chime in to add for food buffet" Rei dropped down on the bed and begin to think about his upcoming experiences in One piece world.

For him, the one week was too short to explore the world. But then he realised that it wasn't a trip ticket but rather a mission for him and other chat members. He understood why would there be a time limit to complete this quest, if not, then members will not finish quest in years and just goof around.

"I wonder if she met Luffy yet? I want to see him using his devil fruit powers with my eyes. Seeing a rubber human in action will be a crazy experience and just thinking about it, is increasing my excitement to get in One piece world" He couldn't help but admit his appreciation for the main cast of one piece. If someone would listen to his rant, they would probably think he is a Luffy fanboy, but it's the other way around. He was a fanboy of the whole One piece world and their characters.

Calming down his excitement about the portal that's about to open in few minutes, he started to track his current level of strength in his head.

Rei thought that he could awaken Touki with this quest. Although his expectations were lower, but nonetheless he was hopeful that fighting with Arlong and training with Bang, might awaken it.

'I'm going to awaken it no matter how hard I have to train. I don't care if I end up breaking my bones in process' Rei clenched his fist in determination. After repeated failures, he was starting to give up on it, but giving himself a little push he continued till now and still trying to achieve it. 'I can't give up or else I am going to bitch about it, when I am at the loosing end with my enemy'

Rei was well aware about the crazy power levels of this world. His current strength level was not something he could be rest assured, the enemies ahead were far stronger than him. So wasting even a single day, will cost him too much in a life death battle, that he will get into it sooner or later.

While he was still in his thoughts, the time stopped all of a sudden when a bright portal showed up in the middle of his room. Turning his head to it, Rei jumped off the bed and picked up his bagpack around his shoulders. Walking towards it, he touched on it, to have a feel of it, but he was pulled inside instantly leaving behind no one in his room.

All he could see the bright light, while feeling no sensation of his body and still moving straight in an unimaginable velocity towards the end of this portal.

"I've never experienced something like this in my both life. It's as if my consciousness is getting dragged away by an endless river stream. This is crazy!"

Rei was a bit scared when he got sucked into it, but the fear was soon replaced by an exciting one. He couldn't help but say out loud to show his appreciation to the God for this amazing life that he was blessed with, along with chat group.
