Unknown Location: Ando P.O.V.
Everything has gone to shit.
First, I've lost too much time. Since my experiments were killed at the JCC, I've lost months, maybe a year of work.
The island had powerful assassins, so I couldn't do the job effectively with my failed experiments.
Had it been only Satoda, the invasion would have been a sinch, and I would have had access to the JAA's greatest secrets.
However, Sei didn't tell me the strongest assassins would be there, so I sent my strongest ones for the job to ensure nothing went wrong.
Unfortunately, they all perished.
I couldn't recover any remains since the JAA has been on my trail for a while now.
After everything we've worked together on, as soon as Sei became the temporary chairman, he cut all contact while leading the JAA to my headquarters.
He's making a fool out of me.
'Monarch,' the superhuman organization, is a joke now.
What's more of a joke that he's playing hero by sending the Order members to kill my distractions.
They might be distractions, but they can be useful in other aspects.
Even if they are merely distractions, it stings nonetheless.
I've been played, and now that my usefulness is gone, he will hunt me down. I've lost the chips I once had with no strong creations and none ready anytime soon.
The only thing special that I have to offer is my own enhancements.
I'll need to lie low for the time being. Like hell, I'll lose everything I've worked so hard for.
Give it a few years, and I'll be unstoppable. I'll discover things that could only be seen in fiction.
Something that will defy the laws of the world.
Sei Asaki, you've made an enemy of the wrong person.
...
Even if I have to destroy the entire JAA, I'll make you beg for death.
...
Then there is the other issue.
While I can avoid and handle individual members of the Order, another variable needs to be dealt with.
Experiment 115, no, Toji Fushiguro.
He's been a thorn in my side, causing me many troubles. Had he been the failed experiment he was supposed to be, I would still have connections with Sei and more resources than I could ever imagine.
There is no reason why he should be that strong.
He even surpassed Takeshi, my most recent creation. It defies all the data I've collected over the years.
Asakura had done so much for me in the past, so I thought I should give him a parting gift. It might've ended up being the worst mistake I've made.
Fushiguro, you're number two on my list of people that need to die.
For now, I'll go into hiding and do nothing but work on my various projects. I must ensure another unexpected variable doesn't further mess up my plans.
...
Chairman's Office: Sei Asaki P.O.V.
*crash*
I throw a coffee cup at the messenger. "What do you mean you can't find him!? You guys had one job, and you still managed to screw it up!"
Aside from the Order, nearly everyone here is useless. There was only a single job left that would secure my position.
Soichi Amo needed to die, and he got away.
Where the hell did it go wrong?
I've kept my plan a secret, worked with JAA officials for the conspiracy, made Satoru betray the Order, and these 'assassins' manage to fuck up a single job.
*inhale* *exhale*
Calm down, everything will be fine.
Now that most of my plans are in place, it is only a matter of time before he dies, and nothing can stop me.
If he dies, I will learn about the database and become invincible, with knowledge and an entire organization of assassins at my disposal to use as I please.
The messenger didn't flinch as blood ran down his face. "Apologies, but the previous founder of the Order, Kindaka, made it impossible. He was too fast for us to shoot and was aware of our snipers."
It makes sense, but he shouldn't have been able to protect him in time.
While I cannot access the database, I have access to a specific person.
I narrowed my eyes. "Bring Atar-"
*knock*
*knock*
A voice speaks from behind the door. "I'm already here."
It looks like the rumors of the 'JAA's fortune teller' are true.
I nod. "Let her in."
The messenger nodded with a blank expression and opened the door.
Behind the door, a young woman with twin tails, blank black eyes, a long black shirt, and baggy pants was smoking a cigarette.
I opened my mouth to speak, but she did something I didn't expect.
...
*sizzle*
...
She put her cigarette out on the messenger's forehead.
The messenger's eyes widened slightly, and he winced from the pain. However, since he was in the presence of the chairman, he didn't do anything.
I was about to reprimand her, but she spoke before I could. "You would have been dead had I not closed the wound on your head."
My eyebrow raised slightly.
Since when can you cauterize a wound with a cigarette. What the hell kinda cigarette is she smoking?
It was a...small injury, but it was still shocking.
I shook my head and sighed. "I need you fo-"
She yawned and stretched her arms. "I know, I know. You wanna know where Soichi is so you can kill him to become the chairman after the stunt you pulled."
This bitch keeps cutting me off.
It took a few seconds, but what she said finally registered.
She knows.
My eyes narrowed as I glanced at the messenger already reaching for his gun.
She looked up at the ceiling. "Even if you tried to kill me, my fortune is particularly lucky today. You'd probably die."
I stood up. "Are you threatening me?"
She nonchalantly shook her head. "Nah, just telling you how it is. Besides, I couldn't care less about you or the JAA. As long as you guys feed and house me, I'm chilling."
I looked back at the messenger, who slowly put his pistol away.
Sitting back down, I kept my narrowed eyes. "If that's the case, tell me everything about my future and how I accomplish my goals."
She leaned back on the wall. "It doesn't really matter since you're probably never going to win."
My eyes widened. "How could that be the case!? I've put so many plans into motion."
She has to be screwing with me.
Atari shrugs. "I'm not omniscient. There are almost an infinite amount of possibilities. I can't know every single one. Despite my abilities, I'm still a human."
'Infinite possibilities.'
A darkened look appears on my face. "Even with infinite possibilities, you're telling me I'll never achieve my goals?"
She raised her pointer finger. "I said, almost infinite. For example, the earth had a 10^-40000 chance of creating life. The probability of every possibility of you winning is even lower."
I narrowed my eyes. "Then you should be able to help me 'win,' correct?"
She tilted her head to the side. "Every person has a certain amount of luck in their lifetime. Even if you pulled all the luck from thousands of people, it still wouldn't be enough, let alone only mine."
If what she is saying is true, then I'll just kill everyone that's a threat using everything at my disposal.
I must figure out something.
Even if it's a fortune teller, I won't give up.
She turned to the messenger. "Can I go back to my room now? I'm hungry."
...
I hate her already.

X's Warehouse: Gaku P.O.V.
Well, I can't say I didn't expect Tenkyu to gather a group of weirdos.
We have a dude named Club Jam, a masochist hypnotist, a random scientist named Mad Horiguchi, and the movie weirdo Kanaguri from the JCC.
Kanaguri only joined since he said it might make a good movie as a revenge story.
If we manage to scratch Toji, then I'll be shocked.
*clap*
Tenkyu clapped his hands to get everyone's attention. "Hello everyone! Thanks for joining us! Gaku, please do the honors."
*sigh*
So tiring.
I spoke up. "We have a single main goal. Destroying the JAA and rebuilding it from the ground up. Assassins don't mean shit anymore. Also, if you get a chance, kill Toji Fushiguro. Don't fight him head-on, or you're dead."
Had the JAA not existed, my family wouldn't have gone through what they did.
I could care less about Toji, but if we want to keep Tenkyu here, we'll need to put a leash on him.
For Uzuki, I'll tear down the JAA.
They ruined our lives, so I'll rebuild it from the ground up and make sure no family like us will ever go through that again.
Kanaguri had a wide smile. "Ohh, the plot is getting even more juicy. Double revenge might be perfect."
Club Jam smiled broadly and licked his lips. "Maybe this Toji guy can make me feel some pain!"
Eugh, why was this dude invited?
Mad Horiguchi shrugged. "I'm just here for the data. I'll help out for now."
I'm unsure if we can pull this off, but I will try.
...
Why do I have to do this? I'm just a kid.
