When a God of Destruction Was Reincarnated in Tensura:

Chapter 65: Elves and Well....Elves

Kaijin then told Rimuru, "To celebrate our new alliance, let's head to a place I know. It's a nice bar with the best drinks and the most beautiful elves you'll ever see."

Rimuru's eyes widened, and though he was in his slime form, the excitement was evident in his tone. "Beautiful elves, you say? Count me in!"

Kaijin laughed heartily, slapping Rimuru on the side of his body. "You'll love it, trust me. The ladies there are... very welcoming. Let's go!"

Gobta, who had been quietly watching the exchange, perked up. "Wait, are we all going? I mean, I wouldn't mind a drink or two…"

Kaijin waved him off. "No offense, kid, but you'd cramp our style.

Gobta groaned in disappointment, muttering something under his breath about always being left behind.

Rimuru chuckled, "Don't worry, Gobta. I'll bring you back something nice."

With that, Kaijin, Rimuru, and Kaijin's brothers set off toward the bar. It was nestled in a lively part of the city, with dwarves laughing, drinking, and chatting in the streets. The bar itself was cozy, with soft golden lights illuminating its wooden structure. As soon as they entered, the sound of laughter and cheerful music filled the air.

The moment they stepped inside, Rimuru's attention was immediately drawn to the waitresses—elves with radiant beauty, dressed in outfits that were revealing enough to leave little to the imagination. One of the elves, her long golden hair cascading down her back, greeted them warmly. "Kaijin! It's been a while! Come in, come in. We've got a table ready for you."

Kaijin grinned. "You're too kind, Myrna. This here is Rimuru, a new friend of mine. Make him feel at home."

Myrna's eyes sparkled as she looked at Rimuru. "Oh my, what an adorable little slime! Come this way, all of you."

Rimuru followed her, feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement. As they settled at the table, a group of four elves joined them, their delicate features and elegant movements mesmerizing Rimuru.

One of the elves, with soft pink hair and a playful smile, picked up Rimuru and hugged him tightly. "You're so cute! I've never seen a slime like you before."

Rimuru, nestled between her arms, thought, Heaven... this must be heaven. Out loud, he managed to say, "Uh, thank you... I get that a lot."

Kaijin and his brothers roared with laughter as Rimuru squirmed in the elf's embrace. Another elf leaned closer to Rimuru, her emerald eyes gleaming. "You're quite special, aren't you? There's something about you that feels... powerful."

Rimuru chuckled nervously. "Well, I've been through some stuff…"

As the drinks flowed and the conversation grew livelier, one of the elves with silvery hair pulled out a crystal ball. "Rimuru, would you like me to tell you your fortune? I can show you the person you're destined to be with."

Rimuru's slime body practically quivered with anticipation. "Destiny, huh? Sure, let's see what you've got."

The elf smiled mysteriously and began waving her hands over the crystal ball. It glowed softly, and an image began to form. Slowly, the figure of a beautiful woman with black hair and a scar on her face appeared.

Kaijin nearly dropped his drink. "That's Shizue Izawa! She's a retired legendary hero. What're the odds?"

Rimuru's core jolted. Shizue... that name sounds Japanese. But he kept his thoughts to himself.

The elf giggled. "Oh, but there's more. Let's see…" The crystal ball shimmered again, and another woman appeared—this one with black hair, a well-toned body, and a soft, inviting smile.

The table erupted with cheers and teasing. "Rimuru, you lucky slime!" one of Kaijin's brothers said, slapping the table.

Before Rimuru could process it, the crystal ball revealed four more women. Two of them were Shion and Shuna, their familiar faces bringing a mix of embarrassment and pride to Rimuru.

Kaijin roared with laughter. "Looks like you've got a harem waiting for you, Rimuru!"

Rimuru, flustered, muttered, "It's not like that… probably."

While Rimuru was still daydreaming about the beautiful women he'd seen in the crystal ball, an angry, familiar voice cut through the lively atmosphere of the bar.

"Kaijin! What in the world are you doing here?!"

Everyone turned to see Minister Vesta, his face a mix of irritation and disbelief. He stormed toward their table, his eyes narrowing as they landed on Kaijin.

Kaijin, unfazed, raised his mug and took a sip before responding nonchalantly, "I'm celebrating."

Vesta's face turned red. "Celebrating? Celebrating?! When you have magic swords to finish for the kingdom?! Do you have any idea what kind of trouble this will bring to me if they aren't delivered on time?!"

Kaijin smirked and leaned back in his chair. "Trouble for you? Don't worry, Vesta. The swords have already been delivered."

Vesta froze mid-rant. "What... you finished them?" His voice was filled with disbelief.

Kaijin chuckled. "That's right. All twenty of them. And I didn't just finish them—I made sure they were of the finest quality."

For a moment, Vesta was at a loss for words. His mouth opened and closed as he tried to process the unexpected news. Then, regaining his composure, he glared at Rimuru.

"And what is this?" Vesta sneered, pointing at the slime. "Why is a monster allowed in a place like this? Have standards fallen so low that you let such filthy creatures into the city?"

The entire table went silent. Rimuru, still in his slime form, tilted slightly, as if trying to decide whether to respond. Before he could, Kaijin stood abruptly, his chair screeching against the floor.

"That's enough, Vesta!" Kaijin snapped, his voice filled with anger. "You've insulted me plenty over the years, but I won't stand by while you insult my friends!"

Vesta scoffed, crossing his arms. "Friends? That thing isn't even—"

He didn't get to finish his sentence. Kaijin's fist connected with Vesta's face in a clean, powerful punch, sending the minister sprawling to the floor. Gasps echoed through the bar as everyone turned to see Vesta lying flat on his back, groaning in pain.

Kaijin flexed his hand, wincing slightly. "Damn, that felt good."

The satisfaction was short-lived, however, as the guards arrived moments later. Vesta, still dazed, pointed at Kaijin and Rimuru. "Arrest them! Arrest them both!"

Despite some protests from the elves and patrons, the guards dragged Kaijin, Rimuru, and Kaijin's brothers out of the bar.

The next morning, Rimuru and Kaijin found themselves in a grand courtroom. The room was filled with onlookers, and at the center stood Vesta, his head and arm wrapped in bandages, glaring at Kaijin with pure malice.

Kaijin leaned over to Rimuru, keeping his voice low. "This is going to be bad. We're not allowed to defend ourselves here. Only a proxy can speak for us, and wouldn't you know it, Vesta already arranged for one of his lackeys to act as our proxy."

Rimuru frowned but stayed silent, taking in the room. The atmosphere was tense, with the audience waiting for the trial to begin.

Suddenly, Rimuru felt a powerful presence approaching. His attention snapped toward the grand doors as they swung open.

"His Majesty, Gazel Dwargo, will now enter!" the herald announced, his voice booming through the courtroom.

The room immediately fell silent as King Gazel entered, his regal aura commanding respect. He walked with purpose, his piercing gaze sweeping over everyone in the room before settling on Vesta and Kaijin.

Rimuru couldn't help but be impressed. So that's the Dwarven King, huh? He's no joke.

The king took his seat at the center of the courtroom, his expression stern. "Let the trial begin," he declared, his voice echoing with authority.
