In order to wash away the sins brought on by their ancestors, the Uchihas have been working tirelessly for decades, constantly seeking a way to reclaim the honor and status they deserve.

However, Konoha's higher-ups have always rejected the Uchiha clan, leading the Uchihas to transition from a mentality of 'atonement' to one of resentment and anger toward Konoha Council.

On top of this, because of their pride and lack of political skill, the Uchiha clan's relations with other ninja clans in Konoha have also deteriorated.

Furthermore, the Uchiha clan, which controls the Konoha Police Force, was forced to interact with the common villagers as part of their duties overseeing daily law enforcement and security.

The proud Uchihas, who were not good at subtlety or diplomacy, often handled these matters in a blunt and forceful manner. 

Over time, this worsened their relationship with the villagers, which in turn soured the attitude of the common ninjas toward the Uchiha clan.

It can be said that a combination of these factors created a huge trap, trapping the Uchiha clan in a position where they could not move forward. 

They couldn't obtain the honor they deserved as one of Konoha's founding clans, couldn't gain the support of other ninja clans or ninjas, and it became even more impossible to reach the coveted position of Hokage.

To be honest, after decades of these circumstances, the Uchiha clan's higher-ups had already given up in despair. Only the young clan leader, Uchiha Fugaku, still had the will and spirit. 

He was fortunate to meet the unique young man, Minato Namikaze, and become friends with him. After Minato became the Fourth Hokage, the Uchiha clan finally saw a glimmer of hope.

It was after this that the relationship between the Uchiha clan and Konoha rapidly deteriorated. 

Uchiha Fugaku, under internal and external pressure, made repeated mistakes, and ultimately led the entire Uchiha clan into a trap.

There is no doubt that the tragedy of the Uchiha clan, aside from the distasteful actions of Konoha Council, was largely caused by the Uchiha clan itself.

The Uchiha clan, lacking sufficient political wisdom, could never understand how to improve their situation, nor how to properly fight against Konoha's higher-ups.

Their ideas became more extreme, and in the end, the entire clan was driven into the depths of despair, leading to their complete destruction.

However, the core factor behind all of these issues was the Uchiha clan's desire to regain their lost honor, their yearning to become part of Konoha's upper echelons, and their longing for the Hokage position—a seat of power that the Uchiha clan should have had at least one time.

Had they not been driven by these desires, and instead adopted a completely passive and indifferent attitude, the Uchiha clan might have lived fairly well.

Of course, this is all hypothetical. In reality, it would never have happened.

What has happened now, however, is that Uchiha Kai claims to have found a way for the Uchiha clan to obtain what they have long desired!

Shock, disbelief, and a flood of emotions surged through the room.
