Wang An Leiji (Yang Leiji) (What If I Was In Martial Peak)

Chapter 543: Established Inner Links

I pointed a finger towards the 4th rank, only for a moment and then went back to holding my wife. "They are in your space ring now. You can double check if you like." I said, having done exactly what I said I would.

The 4th rank didn't bother checking her ring. She was now deep in thought of how in the hell someone so far far away managed to do something like that. At least that's what her face said. She bowed with a salute before I sent her back to her cultivation spot.

"Senior Luo, first allow me to apologize for frightening you. It wasn't your question and I reacted as if it were." I began… "However, you should be well acquainted with what happened to Myriad Demons… I will not allow any of my family to be seen with such hubris and wishful thinking. Just as much as I will not let even a hair on their heads be harmed. Of course I have to be alive for this…" I continued. "Since you knew of those events… You should have known what you just said… Shouldn't have been said. I will look past this though given my actions." I finished, as I was still furious.

Luo Ting He regained her sense of reality… She had clearly been in a daze earlier. "Thank you and… I apologize. That was a lapse in my judgement." She said with a hard gulp.

"Consider yourself lucky Senior Sister Luo, I would have beaten you senseless for such comments. You and the person this question came from." Yang kai noted, his eyes were nearly bloodshot.

"Even with your realm, I too would have made you pay the price for such thoughts. My children are precious to me." Su Yan said, hiding her anger behind a smile. "Son, you really are kind aren't you." She added with a slight twitch of her brow.

"Isn't he! I love him!" Chi Qiu piped up cheerfully. "Mother, can I hold little Xingjuan for a little while? She's so cute." She continued, flying around to the other side of the table, smiling at my baby sister.

Su Yan had a moment where she retreated into Yang Kai's embrace. She looked at me and then back at my wife. "Not here. I want to hold her while we are here. When we return I'll let you hold her a little. You do need practice for when you have your own." She said with a relenting sigh.

"It's a promise, Mother. And little Xingjuan when we all return home your big sisters will make sure to play with a whole lot." Chi Qiu replied keeping a good smile on her face and leaned in. "Also, we will make sure to rope in your big brother to play with you as well." She whispered, or rather tried to. "Well, I should get back to my sisters. We have a lot of training to catch up on. Especially if we are to prepare for that oh so wonderful day!" She finished and then flew away, waving back. Xingjuan giggled and waved as best she could in return.

"Alright, Father it's time… I have reached the limit on my first small universe… At least for now anyway." I said with a slight exhale.

"You… You mean you're not done yet?" Luo Ting He asked with a shudder running down her spine.

"Of course not. I have three small universes to manage and only one of them is full. Even for me it takes a bit to reach the peak. Rather it's especially because it's me." I laughed in return. I created a gate leading to Star Boundary. "Mother, once I'm done here I'll come see you. But, what is about to happen is too dangerous for Xingjuan to be anywhere near…" I explained.

"Well then once you return, you've got to play with your baby brothers and sisters. The others don't fully understand why their big brother is nowhere to be seen. And they have of course been a little pouty lately." Su Yan Smiled before leaving through the gate I made.

"And I'm going to return to the other Supreme Elders… I wouldn't want to get in your way…" Luo Ting He said, saluting and then flying away in a hurry. She was clearly still having difficulties with what happened. She then teleported to another place in the void. "Huh?" She let out a confused noise.

"Senior Luo, sit here to cultivate. If you leave now your cultivation will struggle to correct itself. You should take advantage of my stability while you can. You just might shorten your time to the next breakthrough." My voice permeated the area around Luo Ting He, causing her to look around and see the cushion others had been using.

Back to Yang Kai and myself. The two of us smirked at each other. We both knew that what was about to happen could cause some issues.

"Alright, let's see if I can do this on my own, if not I may need your help…" I said, sending the table away into my storage ring.

"Don't worry, even though you're stronger than me now. I can make sure that nothing gets past me." Yang Kai confidently said. Though he was half joking. I knew there was no way for anyone, other than Ink, who could pull that off.

"Father, here I go. And…" I said, as a bead of sweat dropped, followed by several more.

I had created a synergistic link between all three of my small universes. It was meant to mimic the effects of the multi-directional arrays. So the strength of all 3 would flow through the circuit. And it was at this moment Yang Kai realized…

"This much power and it's still not enough to defeat Ink? What kind of monster did the ancient experts manage to contain in the past?" Yang Kai said as he sweat and his clothing began sticking to him. "He's stronger than the twins now… I think…" He added, assuming Dragon form. He needed the added defensive abilities that come with this form.

"Alright… good, it seems like it worked… I can now transfer people across these links far more seamlessly. While also balancing the power of all three small universes. Huh? I guess the pressure was a bit much even for you, father. Sorry about that…" I said with a nervous chuckle as I saw Yang Kai in dragon form with a bunch of scuffs and bruises.
