The Forty-Fourth Chapter: Ash Provokes the Female Officer Again

“Ding!”

The earsplitting sound of metal clashing made Yayoi tightly cover her ears. Ash nimbly turned his holy sword and skillfully placed it behind him, blocking Witch Lina’s surprise attack with the sword stance he learned from “his lord”.

Mages are always close-quarters combat masters in tokusatsu; there’s no way Ash wouldn’t have corresponding countermeasures.

Not surprised by the outcome of his blocked strike, Witch Lina raised the sleeves of her robe, the movements of her hands drawing a twisted figure in the air, reminiscent of a cobra’s tongue hunting. Avoiding left and right, Ash twisted his head, the upward and downward swings of the Holy Sword just evading the woman’s nails. Sparks flew past Yayoi’s feet as they grazed.

She had a black attire, always tall and agile in combat; most importantly, those two prominent features bouncing around with her offensive movements that didn’t exist on a Pretty Cure, yep, these differences clearly marked her as an evil foe different from justice!

Beside the boss was inevitably such a cold and high-ranking female officer. I like this romantic classic too.

“Ah, Witch Lina? Quite capable!” Braving to be hit, Ash shouted loudly toward the back at Yayoi after striking her hard.

“Let’s go!”

“But, but!”

“There’s nothing to but. Being here now won’t help, leave us and go back home!”

Without waiting for Yayoi’s response, seeing Witch Lina’s focus fixed on him, Ash simply grabbed her and leaped off the platform!

“Mr. Ash!”

Yayoi, starting to worry about Ash, leaned forward against the railing to look down quickly.

Ash stood up from the ground, sword in hand, facing Witch Lina who briskly walked toward him. The sword danced in front of him with wrist movements, Ash spoke to her as if looking through his own eyes via his blade.

“Had we crossed paths before?”

Come on, my rage reaches your ears from this distance, and while I’m flattered you hate me, could you at least explain why?

Hearing Ash’s question, a fiery crossroad sprang from Witch Lina’s forehead.

“You, dare belittle me right in front of me! Saying things like ‘too aged to even bite into an apple, stay out’ and ‘let old folks rest without troubling their children’… I’ve yet to even fall in love!”

At that, Witch Lina jumped angrily.

Her growing anger perplexed Ash further.

“My original plan was to ambush you based on Joker’s information, but you, enemy as you are—and now, I will discipline you thoroughly so you, Kamen Rider, witness the wrath of a witch!”

King Sword’s head tilted to one side hearing the outburst. Ash’s innocent eyes blinked, unable to recall doing such a thing.

Hold on, you ranted a lot… but I don’t even know you!

Ready to listen, Ash kicked off and flipped backward to evade the incoming projectile.

Unbeknownst to Ash, Witch Lina’s mature appearance was merely a transformed state, much like himself.

Upon arriving at the factory with Yayoi, he saw an old woman wandering around. Determined to be a good partner in justice, Ash approached to persuade her about the danger, delaying rescue efforts.

However, this seemingly innocent elderly woman was truly Witch Lina. She intended to ambush Ash but he found her instead, misunderstanding her intentions completely, leading to the fruitless attempt that ended up with Ash’s well-meaning but tactless “goodwill” remarks chasing her out of the area.

Becoming increasingly enraged, she transformed into a more powerful but energy-consuming matured form, regardless of Joker’s plan, to teach Ash a lesson!

Thinking thus, Witch Lina smirked, pulling out unrelated-to-magic “magnet.”

“This was all prepared for you!”

When people think of a Witch, they usually imagine one sitting alone in a dim library, weak and bulky due to lack of exercise… Witch Lina protested strongly against this internet-born modern stereotype.

In dark robes, a short stooped figure with a hooked nose under a hood laughed maniacally. The archaic Witch Lina looked the part of an ancient witch.

The second image called to mind was the large cauldron used for brewing potions. As she prepared for Joker’s fake Kamen Rider, in her lab, she tossed unusual ingredients.

“Ha-ha-ha…”

Witch Lina laughed ominously, tossing remnants of an apple, gold-wrapped chocolate, a 22-year-long resentment, and a discarded robot into the steaming pot.

“The magnet,” cackling, she hoisted it.

Though her alchemical mix differed from expectation, Witch Lina was indifferent to convention.

Standing on a chair, the Witch stirred with a long stick. As her power infused, items mixed despite initial disparity.

“Ha-ha-ha… It’s done!”

Pulling out an electromagnet defying physics, she chortled. “This can attract lightning, surely surprising a Kamen Rider!”

To test her witchcraft, she hurled the object at Ash who swung his sword, shattering the magnet-like entity. Fragments scattered, some even in Ash’s mouth.

“Spit it out… it tasted like… metal?”

Amazed by its metallic texture, he felt perplexed, suspecting he consumed some bits.

“Take this!”

来不及细想，丽娜施展了下一个法术。只见她聚集魔力在手中，变幻出一大片乌云出现在艾什的头顶上。随着她手掌的挥动，象征自然狂怒的雷霆轰然而至。敏捷的艾什迅速退缩，躲开了足以使人瞬间碳化的闪电。

“怎么回事？这就是所谓的‘巫婆怒火’吗——什么！”

瞪大的眼睛目睹原本闪过的一道闪电沿着他撤退的道路，沿着导线高速冲向他！

亚修瞪大眼睛，那道原本已避开的雷电劈在地上后，竟然顺着他的退路，沿着电流飞驰向他袭来！

来不及反应，金色电流已在其身上的深色装甲上来回游走！

“亚修先生！”

见底下的亚修全身被金色电流包裹，耶约伊颤抖着手抓紧栏杆，惊呼出声。

这是极其不稳定、冷门的题材。

原本，我只是为了宣泄内心感受，让长久停滞的骑士文与鲜为人知的冷门题材光之美少女结合而写的自娱作。

然而，通过许多读者、大友、特摄美食和单纯爱好者的支持，这本书达到了现在的高度！

然而，当我构建了这样一个容器之后，我并不满足于此，我还没能让光美们真正解放亚修。

从高中起我就开始创作，包括其他论坛网站共计已达一百万字。

之后，包括刺猬猫平台上的二十万字小说在内的五本书，仅有一本成功签约。

可想而知，那些书只是些自我满足的小说，太过个人趣味的小说无法成为真正的好小说！

尽管如此，能写出大家喜欢的作品《假面骑士正在光之美少女当反派》已经非常好了！

我甚至进入了刺猬猫2022年的新人榜单！要知道这可是光之美少女+假面骑士+特摄系列的最终冷门类别，竟然能在这样的网站上上榜！

然而很快的，我不能高兴太久，因为我还要继续追赶紧随其后的其他人！这是否会成为历史？

不会的，我相信从今以后，一定要写出更多读者喜欢的特摄文！光美文！
