Vengeance Incarnate

Zein entered the reception area of Akutagawa Wonderland Cafe all whilst noticing that all of the soldiers eyes were scanning him from head to toe. The soldier could be heard snickering while conversing in low tones so as to not arouse suspicion from the cloaked man right Infront of them. Hoshinomiya stepped forward while keeping a smirk on his face while turning to face Zein. Hoshinomiya scanned Zein's appearance and deemed him an interesting person. 

"I see a person has decided to join the party have to admit it was getting lonely out here without any service," Hoshinomiya said while still haughtily holding his head up while keeping his smirk in place.

"Do you mind taking our orders?" Hoshinomiya said those words in a tone that was clearly not a request.

"Nope I can't, just got off work hence I need to close up the place before going back home," Zein said while adopting the friendly persona of a tired worker.

"I wasn't asking it was an order," Hoshinomiya said while struggling to keep his irritation in check.

"I know hence I refused," Zein with utmost calmness.

"You know you are a funny guy," Hoshinomiya said while chuckling.

"How so?" Zein asked while tilting his head slightly to the the right.

"You are surrounded and yet you are defiant. You'll be nothing but statistics when we are done with you," Hoshinomiya said while drawing his sword and signaling for his men to circle Zein.

"Pfft-hahahaha," Zein started laughing which confused the soldiers.

One of the soldiers asked him if he had lost it due to despair of being in a hopeless situation to which Zein continued laughing until he was out of breath. Zein started to speak while taking in some gasps of air.

"Y-o-u think I'm in trouble that's funny shouldn't you guys worry for yourselves," Zein's voice went from light to ominous in a short time frame.

Upon hearing those words Hoshinomiya gave the signal to attack to his group. The first soldier rushed in anger at being demeaned and tried bisecting Zein's upper torso only for Zein to lean back to avoid the attack the soldier tried a diagonal slash only for Zein to sidestep it.

"Are you even trying?" Zein asked his face clearly showing his boredom in partaking in this fight.

The soldier went for a vertical slash only for him to slash at a table cutting it in half. Zein realized that it is not possible for a blade to cut through the table unless he was coating it with wind magic. Another soldier entered the fray while slashing in the vertical direction while the earlier soldier was slashing in the horizontal direction. Zein ducked and the two swords met each other parrying hence causing the two soldiers to be disoriented for a slight moment. Upon seeing this Zein took this opportunity to bash their heads together and delivered a roundhouse kick that sent them outside the cafe in the streets.

Zein walked out of the cafe not noticing that two soldiers that had caught the gravity of the situation were sneaking up on him and their swords were swinging down. They thought they had caught him as their swords went through him like a hot knife cutting through butter. The two soldiers who were sighing in relief for having caught Zein off-guard felt two taps each on their shoulder they were so into their happiness that the didn't realize that what they had cut was an after image of Zein. When they turned they saw Zein standing there looking unharmed only for it to hit them that they had cut an after image. Before the completely turned to attack Zein bashed their head with the ground and caused them to lose consciousness. Zein grabbed their bodies and threw them towards where the other two fallen soldiers lay.

"Physical Buff" He heard someone cast magic towards the remaining soldiers.

Three soldiers took initiative and this time they had a melee practitioner to cover for their blind spots in close quarter combat. The soldiers wasted no time to enter the battle and the melee practitioner who was faster than the other two immediately went for the leg sweep causing him to jump upwards only for him to jump directly into the path of the swords which looked more deadlier than possible considering that all of their physical stats had been buffed up. Seeing no way out of this that wouldn't cause him to slightly injure himself he took out two daggers hidden within his cloak and parried the blades and when he landed on the ground his right foot was stepping on the melee practitioner's ankle. A savage but brutal idea came to his mind using his left foot which he brought quickly down on the melee practitioner's kneecap shattering it with savage brutality. He jumped off the melee practitioner who was holding his knee in obvious pain. Zein felt the two other soldiers try to make opposite diagonal slashes which were to eventually meet at the center he used the two daggers and threw them at the open part of the shoulders bring them off course causing Zein to capitalize on the opportunity by throwing a rock at the one the left causing them to tumble into the melee practitioner who was nursing his leg. Zein saw them fall on top off each other while struggling to move he jumped and used his momentum to deliver a devastating dropkick knocking out the three in one go. 

Another soldier was running at him full speed intent to take his head off but Zein dodged the attacks multiple times causing the soldier to be infuriated. In one last ditch attempt he tried to slash vertically downwards only for the sword to hit the ground and when he tried removing it from the ground he felt that it couldn't move. Zein was stepping on the sword and he punched the helmet of the soldier with enough force to make it get shattered causing the soldier to lose consciousness before Zein proceeded to toss him to the other heap of downed soldiers like trash.

"Now Its only me and you two," Zein said while making the come at me motion with his fingers after picking up one of the downed soldier's sword.

"Don't be cocky, you vermin," Hoshinomiya said while launching himself at Zein.
