Vampire-Walkers

Chapter 5: Chapter 5

Sania extended her hands out to her mother. She wanted to bite her. And suck the luscious blood out of her veins.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. The noise blocked out Sania's vampire senses. Her hunger had vanished.

''How are you Mrs. Ashraf?'' Sania heard Hassan's voice from outside the front door.

''I'm fine. Come in Hassan dear.'' Her Mom welcomed him.

Sania hugged Hassan just as he entered the kitchen. ''I missed you.'' She said feeling a little lovey-dovey.

''I missed you too. By the way I met you day before yesterday.'' Hassan said surprised at his girlfriend's behavior.

He showed Sania the bouquet of flowers he brought along. She took them in her arms letting the beautiful scent refresh her senses. Her more humane senses.

''It's just what a lady wants during a cloudy day.'' Sania said.

''Thank God it isn't raining. Do you know what rain does to my hair?'' He brushed his silky light brown hair with his hands.

Sania stared at the bouquet in her grasp suspiciously as if it was loaded with a bomb.

''From where did you get this?'' She asked.

Hassan flashed a grin at Sania's Mom. ''From Mrs. Ashraf's majestic garden.''

Mrs. Ashraf blushed at that comment.

''Hassan I'm serious.'' Sania said, her tone becoming exactly like what she mentioned.

''I got it from this flower shop at the end of town.''

''What's the name of the store?''

Hassan held his chin like he always did when he was thinking about something. ''I remember. It was called Fancy Flower-Shop.''
