"Oh ho, is my little sister desperate to sleep with me?" Aki teased as he saw Yotsuha standing near the door, holding her own pillow.

"No, I am not here for that!" Yotsuha shouted, but she still went in and lay down on Mitsuha's bed, which was already set up on the ground.

"She is cute," Aki scoffed but decided to rest as well, planning to return to his original body tomorrow.

As he also lay down on the bed, Yotsuha looked up at his eyes and asked, "Will my sister return?"

Feeling the desperation in her voice, Aki chuckled and took the girl in his embrace. "Let's sleep while hugging. Can you hug me? After all, I will be gone forever."

"Forever?" Yotsuha murmured. She didn't complain about being suffocated in her sister's chest.

"Yeah, I will miss you. Will you miss me?" Aki asked, adding a tone of desperation.

"...Maybe," she said softly, and didn't reply more. As Aki looked at her face, he was amused. "She must be really sleepy," he muttered, seeing her sleeping face. "Is this how having a sister feels?"

"Don't worry. I firmly believe I will return the day after tomorrow," he said, closing his eyes.

(The next morning)

Yawning, Aki woke up the next morning. The first thing he did was check his chest and down area. "Hmm, I returned," he smiled.

He stood up from the bed and went to take a shower to freshen up, without looking at his surroundings.

After a long shower, Aki returned to his bedroom. "Hmm, did Mitsuha clean my house?" he wondered as he noticed that the bed and door were clean.

He tried looking for his clothes and found them in the cupboard, mixed with all the female clothes. "Why did she mix my clothes with the girl's clothes...?" he thought. Shrugging it off, Aki decided to call Runa to change their date from tomorrow to today, anticipating that Mitsuha would possess his body tomorrow.

As he sat down to check his laptop, Aki dialed Runa's number on his cellphone.

"Ring ring... Tud."

"Hello?"

"Ah, Runa, it's me, Shijo. Are you free today?" Aki asked, introducing himself first since he hadn't talked to her for at least two days.

"Ahh, Shijo-kun, yes, yes, I am free. Is there anything?" she replied.

"Then can we reschedule our date from Sunday to today? I will come to pick you up," Aki asked.

"Umm, okay. I will get ready," she replied, sounding happy.

"Then in an hour, okay?" Aki said as he hung up and wrote one or two chapters of his novel, since he hadn't written yesterday.

After that, Aki dressed up and opened the garage to find a motorbike for the date. "Hmm, I can decently drive a scooter, but a bike... Let's give it a shot," he thought with determination. He found a suitable motorbike and drove it out, only to crash into the gate.

"Banggg..."

"... The fuck... That hurt... ahhh," Aki groaned.

"Sigh, I need to adjust the gear... Tsk, it will be embarrassing if I crash while carrying Runa. I need to learn this in half an hour," he thought. As Aki got up and was about to try again, he heard a voice.

"Shijo-kun, are you alright? I heard a loud sound," Kamiya asked, looking out from her window.

"Ah, Ai-san, I am okay," Aki said, looking up at the girl who was looking down at him.

But blood dripped from Aki's nose as he said he was fine, and Kamiya saw it too. "Wait there, I am coming down," she said, closing the window.

"Sigh, I made her worried," Aki sighed, wiping the nosebleed with his handkerchief. "Hmm, I think I broke my nose with that..."

"What were you thinking?" Ai scolded as she tended to Aki's nose and other bruises, sitting on the sofa inside Aki's room.

"Haha, it's embarrassing," Aki laughed but decided to tell the truth. "You know Runa from your class?"

"Runa?" Ai was puzzled for a second, then she remembered someone with that name. "Are you talking about Runa Shirakawa-san?" she asked.

"Yes," Aki nodded his head.

"You two seem close. You also call her by her name," Ai said, pouting.

"Yeah, she asked me out not long ago," Aki said.

Hearing Aki's words, Ai stopped what she was doing and looked into his eyes, realizing that he wasn't lying. With a sigh, she continued bandaging him while asking, "And you refused, right?"

Aki could see and understand Ai's feelings. She liked him, and what she needed to hear now was not the truth but a lie to ease her heart. Ai liked him, and he was ready to date her. After all, she was cute, beautifully mature, and many more things to describe, but to make her agree to him dating more than one woman, he needed to hurt her feelings.

"Sorry, Ai," he said in his heart. "No, no, how could I? Well, I was practicing my bike to go on a date with Runa-san," he dropped the bomb on her.

Now, even if she wanted to refuse the reality, Kamiya couldn't ignore it anymore. Her heart faltered, and her hands trembled, but she mustered the courage to say something before she left.

"Is that so... Then good luck," she said, running off to her house.

"Sigh, I made another one cry. How far am I going to go to achieve my goal..." With a gloomy expression, Aki looked at the disappearing figure and muttered, "Sorry, Ai-san. You were the first girl I saw when I arrived in this world, but I'm choosing another first, instead of you... So I promise, among others, you will be the special one for me."

"Ai, what's wrong?" Hina asked, seeing her daughter running towards her room crying.

She swiftly followed her and found the door unlocked. She opened the door and sat beside Ai, rubbing her hair.

"Ai, you know I'm not only your mother but your best friend, right? So tell me, what happened between you two?" Hina asked.

"Mom..." Wiping her tears, Ai smiled weakly. "It's nothing much. Looks like I got dumped... He chose another girl instead of me," she laughed dryly, feeling like a mess.

Hearing her daughter's words and seeing her condition, Hina couldn't take it anymore. "You stay here. I'm going to talk with Shijo," she said, trying to leave, but Ai grabbed her arm.

"Don't... Let's not tell him how I feel about him," Ai suggested.

"Why? You literally love him, right? Are you going to give up on your love so easily?" Hina scolded her daughter.

"That's not it, Mom... I love him. I love him, and that's why seeing him smile will make me happy," Ai said with a bright smile. "So let's not talk about this anymore... Even if I'm not his girlfriend, I'm his friend, right?" Ai made it sound easy.

"Ai... Okay, if that's what you wish," Hina sighed. "Rest here, and I'll finish breakfast," she said as she went out.

"... I'm sorry, Ai... I will still talk with Shijo-kun. After all, I don't want to see my daughter lose so easily," Hina thought to herself, determined to have a word with Aki.

"But I wondered why he was acting differently yesterday."
