Uchiha's Taijutsu Supreme

Chapter 136: A Strange Request Never Heard Before

Shizan Aburame carefully accepted the jar containing the mutated parasitic insects. He glanced at the sealing array on the jar's opening, and a faint smirk formed on his lips.

"So, this is an invitation to show off? Not a bad sealing technique, but… it won't be a challenge for my parasitic insects."

With a quick glance, Shizan easily identified the weak point in the seal.

A few parasitic insects emerged from his body, and under his control, they meticulously began gnawing away at the external seal around the jar's opening.

Fuma's eyes flashed with admiration. From this alone, it was evident how seasoned and experienced Shizan was in battle.

"Using the chakra-consuming nature of parasitic insects to dismantle Orochimaru's sealing technique so easily? Impressive."

"With this level of skill, I doubt many in Konoha's secret technique clans can match him. Shizan Aburame, you truly keep a low profile…"

*Buzz… buzz… buzz… whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!*

As the parasitic insects continued to chew, the seal on the jar gradually unraveled.

A swarm of mutated insects burst out, accompanied by the chilling sound of vibrating wings. The insects viciously turned on each other, biting and tearing apart their own kind in a frenzy.

Before Shizan could even attempt to control them, the mutated insects had already begun to dominate.

His own parasitic insects tried to retaliate but were swiftly overwhelmed, fleeing in panic, only to be hunted down and consumed at an alarming speed.

The mutated insects bred by Orochimaru were far more aggressive than Shizan's, and in terms of strength, size, and agility, they utterly outclassed ordinary parasitic insects.

To Shizan's astonishment, as his insects were devoured, the mutated ones visibly grew larger, eventually swelling to the size of a fist.

These parasitic insects had now transformed into something entirely different—a new species with unprecedented potential.

For centuries, the Aburame Clan had been researching ways to overcome the inherent size limitations of their insects. Despite their countless experiments and chakra-guided mutations, their efforts had always yielded mediocre results.

But now, these groundbreaking parasitic insects were right in front of Shizan.

He couldn't help but imagine the potential. Hundreds of fist-sized parasitic insects, armed with immense strength, latching onto an enemy ninja's face—utterly inescapable and terrifying.

For the first time, Shizan's usually stoic expression revealed shock. His mind raced as he calculated the strategic value of these mutated insects.

"How is this even possible?!"

"Our clan has spent centuries experimenting, yet we've never been able to produce a strain like this. But these mutated insects that Fuma provided… they're ruthless, adaptive, and capable of growth…"

"If we could incorporate these into the clan's arsenal, we might finally have a way to counter even tailed beasts!"

Shizan's excitement was palpable. For someone from the insect-revering Aburame Clan, the allure of this new species was irresistible.

However, the mutated insects, having consumed all the parasitic insects, grew even more violent. Their bodies swelled again, now reaching the size of washbasins.

With long, twitching antennae and menacing mandibles, they lunged hungrily at Shizan.

He frowned, sensing trouble.

At this scale, the mutated insects were beyond his ability to control using conventional methods. His parasitic insects were no match and would only serve as food, further fueling their growth.

"Should I resort to my nano-poison insects? But their toxicity might harm these valuable specimens… That's not ideal."

"Moreover, these belong to Fuma. It wouldn't be appropriate to act recklessly before negotiations are finalized…"

Fuma, noticing Shizan's hesitation, felt a surge of goodwill. He silently admired the man's restraint.

"So, he's worried about damaging the insects? A refined and disciplined ninja indeed. I like him."

"That inner turmoil without outright panic—clearly, the Aburame Clan still has hidden techniques capable of subduing these mutated insects."

"As expected of the top insect-user clan in the shinobi world, their foundation runs deep."

Fuma's gaze sharpened. Thick, ominous black-red energy erupted from his body, forming tangible tendrils. These tendrils coiled around the mutated insects, lifting them into the air.

*Zzzzzz…*

As the ominous light of his blood energy flickered, the chakra within the mutated insects was rapidly drained. Their massive bodies shrank back to their original size, leaving them weak and docile.

The once ferocious swarm now huddled together timidly, like frightened chicks—pitiful and helpless.

Insect swarms were most dangerous in their overwhelming numbers. They attacked from every direction, relentless and fearless. To counter them, a jutsu needed not only destructive power but also a wide area of effect—something exceedingly rare in the shinobi world.

Techniques like the Hyuga Clan's Rotation could counter insect swarms to some extent, but the high chakra cost made it an impractical solution.

However, Fuma's [Predator's Malice], with its all-encompassing field and chakra-absorbing properties, was like a specialized insecticide—perfectly suited to dealing with such threats.

Shizan froze, stunned. This was his first time encountering a technique so devastatingly effective against insect swarms.

If he didn't know better, he might have suspected that Fuma had developed this ability specifically to counter the Aburame Clan.

Clearing his throat, Shizan fixed his gaze on the tendrils of blood energy before him. Then, with an earnest expression, he turned to Fuma and asked cautiously:

"Fuma-san, I realize this may be an impertinent question, but for the sake of my clan, I must ask… Is this blood energy a learnable technique, or is it unique to your bloodline?"

Shizan's expression betrayed his anxiety. If this ability were a learnable technique, other villages might eventually develop similar methods, threatening the Aburame Clan's future.

Even the Second Hokage's Flying Thunder God Technique had been partially replicated by the Hidden Cloud with their Heavenly Transfer Technique.

Fuma raised an eyebrow, silently noting Shizan's urgency.

"It seems that no matter how reserved a ninja may be, the survival of their clan will always bring out their desperation."

"Still, compared to someone like Itachi Uchiha, who slaughtered his own clan for peace, Shizan is far more relatable."

Shaking off the comparison, Fuma replied confidently:

"Rest assured, Shizan-san. My [Predator's Malice] is a unique bloodline limit, awakened only by me in the long history of the Uchiha Clan. No one else can replicate it."

"Even among my clan, no one has managed to grasp even a fraction of its power."

"Of course, it may pass down to my descendants one day, but for now, it's mine alone."

Hearing this, Shizan visibly relaxed. He bowed slightly and said sincerely:

"Thank you for clarifying, Fuma-san. Your unique bloodline limit had significant implications for our clan's future, and I am relieved to know it won't spread beyond your control."

Fuma chuckled, pleased by Shizan's honesty.

"There's no need to worry, Shizan-san. I have a proposal that could make us steadfast allies. Let's discuss these mutated insects. Are they of interest to the Aburame Clan?"

Shizan nodded earnestly, "These mutated parasitic insects are invaluable to us. They solve a problem that has plagued our clan for generations."

Recognizing the power disparity and Fuma's natural counter to their techniques, Shizan abandoned traditional negotiating tactics and chose to be forthright about the value of the mutated insects.

While unconventional, Shizan gambled on Fuma's sincerity, hoping for a genuine partnership rather than subjugation.

Fuma, noticing this, smiled warmly. His piercing eyes locked onto Shizan's, and he made a surprising offer:

"I'll give the Aburame Clan these mutated insects for free, as a gesture of goodwill to begin our alliance."

"However, I have one small request—it's simple and can be done today."

Without hesitation, Shizan replied, "Please, tell me your request. The Aburame Clan will do everything in our power to fulfill it."

The next moment, Shizan was dumbfounded.

Fuma pulled out two enormous sake bottles, set them down with a grin, and said excitedly, "Let's have a drink!"
